      AceShowbiz – Miley Cyrus has proposed having a “three way” in the recording studio with pop couple Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello.
      The “Wrecking Ball” hitmaker was impressed with a TikTok clip of the loved-up “Senorita” singers covering her 2009 “Hannah Montana: The Movie” song “The Climb”, and suggested they all get together to make sweet music.

      Commenting on the weekend post on Shawn’s account, Miley wrote, “Let’s have a three way.”

      Miley and Mendes previously worked together to perform a rendition of Shawn’s “In My Blood” single at the Grammy Awards in 2019. Meanwhile, Mendes had also collaborated with Cabello in 2015’s single “I Know What You Did Last Summer” prior to reuniting on their 2019 hit “Senorita”.
      Mendes and Cabello have been dating since summer of last year and spent the first few months of the COVID-19 pandemic by self-isolating together. In his Netflix documentary “In Wonder”, the 22-year-old singer admitted that he has thought about proposing to his girlfriend. “Yeah, absolutely, I think for me it’s always been if I’m not willing to talk about that stuff then I kind of check out a little bit, and I don’t know, I really think when you know, you know,” he confessed.
      “She’s been one of my best friends since I was, like, 15 years old. I don’t know, at the same time, I know we are really young so I don’t want to jump, like, insanely fast, but I think when you find your person, you feel and you know that you have found your person,” he explained.

      AceShowbiz – Taylor Swift’s “Evenmore” debuts atop the Billboard 200 this week. Her surprise album leads the Top 10 after earning 329,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending December 17, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. It marks Taylor’s eighth No. 1 album on the chart and her second of 2020 following “Folklore”.
      Of the sum, SEA units comprise nearly 167,000 which equals to 220.49 million on-demand streams of the album’s songs. Meanwhile, 154,500 are in the form of album sales with TEA units comprising a little under 8,000. The album is also named as the fifth-largest week of the year for any album and the second-largest streaming week of 2020 for a non-R&B/hip-hop.
      Back to this week’s chart, Kid Cudi’s “Man on the Moon III: The Chosen” arrives at No. 2 with 144,000 equivalent album units earned, marking his fifth top 10 album. Meanwhile, Taylor’s “Folklore” soars high from No. 11 to No. 3 with 133,000 equivalent album units, thanks to sale pricing and promotion in her official webstore of the “Folklore” vinyl LP and a signed CD edition of the album.

      Following it up at No. 4 is Michael Buble’s “Christmas”. The album stays steady at the position after earning 58,000 equivalent album units. This week’s chart also sees Jack Harlow’s debut studio album “Thats What They All Say” bowing at No. 5 with 51,000 equivalent album units, 48,000 of which are in SEA units.
      Meanwhile, Carrie Underwood’s “My Gift” falls from No. 5 to No. 6 with 47,000 equivalent album units. Also descending this week are Pop Smoke’s “Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon” and Nat King Cole’s “The Christmas Song”. Pop Smoke’s posthumous album dips one spot from No. 6 to No. 7 with 46,000 units, while Nat King Cole’s Christmas album drops from No. 7 to No. 8 with 45,000 units.
      Bad Bunny’s former No. 1 album “El Ultimo Tour del Mundo” significantly falls from No. 2 to No. 9 this week after earning a little over 44,000 units. Closing out the Top 10 is Mariah Carey’s “Merry Christmas” which is stationery at the No. 10 with 44,000 units.

      The British pop star, who has been enjoying a break to settle into fatherhood, teased the music release via Instagram on Sunday, December 20.
      He simply wrote, “11am GMT tomorrow. A Christmas present.”

      Sheeran shared the same message in a short video on his Instagram Story timeline, which included a brief clip of the singer sitting down with his guitar.

      He didn’t offer up any other details, but officials at the U.K.’s Power Radio let slip the news on Twitter on Saturday, claiming the track would be titled “The Afterglow”, and released for airplay on Monday.

      This will be Sheeran’s new music after he last released an album, “No.6 Collaborations Project”, in July 2019. True to the title, the record featured a string of collaborations with artists including Justin Bieber, Chance The Rapper, Cardi B, Camila Cabello and British rapper Stormzy.
      In December of the same year, the 29-year-old musician announced that he’s taking a break from making music. “Hello all. Gonna go on another break again,” he told his fans and followers on Instagram.
      “The Divide era and tour changed my life in so many ways, but now it’s all over it’s time to go out and see some more of the world,” he explained. “I’ve been a bit non stop since 2017 so I’m just gonna take a breather to travel, write and read. I’ll be off all social media until it’s time to come back.”
      Sheeran added, “To all my family and friends, see ya when I see ya – and to my fans, thank you for always being amazing, I promise to be back with some new music when the time is right and I’ve lived a little more to actually have something to write about.
      The “Shape of You” hitmaker welcomed a daughter named Lyra with his wife, Cherry Seaborn, in late August.

      AceShowbiz – Rocker Michael Stipe is really challenging himself for his upcoming solo album by insisting on writing all of the music himself for the first time – even though he “can’t play an instrument”.
      The former R.E.M. frontman previously relied on his bandmates to add the melodies and soundscapes to his lyrics, but he doesn’t want to lean on other musicians for his solo endeavour, so he’s tackling the whole process from scratch.
      He told Uncut magazine: “What I have at the moment are 18 pieces of music that I’m working on. Some of them are much more complete than others – some have lyrics, others don’t.”
      “I threw a bunch of barricades in my path by deciding to challenge myself with a lot of this music. I’ve never written music before, which means I’m coming from a completely different vantage point than I ever did with R.E.M.”

      “I can’t play an instrument, so that makes composing for me that much more thrilling, because I really don’t know what I’m doing and I’m not afraid of stupid sounds. So banging around on synthesisers is, for me, an easy way to create.”
      And the “Losing My Religion” hitmaker isn’t concerned about what others will think of his music.
      He said: “I want something that’s gonna make me feel like I’m really living in the moment. At the age of 60, I don’t really want to do things that are easy. I can do whatever the f**k I want, in essence. I’m at that point in my life where I don’t really have to please anyone but myself.”

      AceShowbiz – Did Asian Doll end her friendship with Megan Thee Stallion? The female rapper also known as Asian Da Brat was seemingly hurt as she wrote a now-deleted tweet, “Friendship ended NEXT!” after revealing that Megan replaced her with JT of City Girls.
      The drama started when Asian played for her online followers her unreleased verse on “Do It on the Tip”, a song off Megan’s debut album that features the City Girls. As Megan was called out for ditching Asian, the “Unfuccwitable” star was quick to set the record straight. “Me & Megan still friends idgaf about no song I did in my sleep,” she wrote.
      But in a follow-up tweet, she admitted that, while she was cool with the “Hot Girl Summer” hitmaker, she was indeed upset at first. She confessed, “I was (mad) but ima Sagittarius we get mad then 10mins later WE DON’T GIVE A F**K BOUT NUNNADET SH*T. (sic)”
      While Megan kept mum, JT posted a series of cryptic messages that fans believed to be a response to Asian Doll’s tweets. “A real friend is something you bi***es really don’t know nothing about!” she penned. “I been doing good but ima bout to start laying y’all attention h**s out & I’m coming with FACTS!!!!! Sympathetic a** h**s are really starting to grind on my gears! FR!”

      While JT didn’t drop any names, Asian directly mention JT in her next tweet, insisting to keep a positive attitude as fans brought JT’s remarks to her attention. “If JT ain’t say my name then she wasn’t talking to me,” she tweeted before seemingly scolding fans for trying to pit her against the City Girls member, “Stop being messy cause what I said was between me & Megan!”
      Asian went on, “This whole song getting out of hand! My intentions wasn’t bad when I played it I DON’T WANNA BE ON THE DELUXE I Don’t Wanna Put It Out I played it because ITS NEVER coming out! I don’t need to be a pick me b***h cause at the end of the day I’m having my way with this sh*t.”
      “I was called & asked to do the song,” she explained why she sent her verse to Meg. “Some told me don’t do it anyways so I didn’t. Weeks later I was reminded to do it, so I DID It.”

      Asian, who previously defended Megan against Tory Lanez, then seemingly called out Megan for being silent. “A lot of sh*t I don’t even deserve,” she wrote. “God knows my intentions but these b***es don’t make it no better. How you don’t defend a b***h that RUN to defend you [laughing crying emojis].”

      Isaiah, the singer’s boy with husband Mike Fisher, contributes guest vocals on “Little Drummer Boy”, and he couldn’t be more excited to be part of mum’s festive collection, titled “The Gift”.
      “I had no idea what was going to happen (in the studio),” the “American Idol” winner told Kelly Clarkson on her daytime talk show of her kid’s big performance.
      “He’s never been in that kind of situation before. I don’t think he’s even been like, in the studio with me ever before.”

      In fact, the “Love Wins” hitmaker isn’t even sure Isaiah knows what his mother does for a living.

      “American Idol” judge Katy dropped her latest LP, “Smile”, earlier this year (20).
      It’s a collection of songs that offered a glimpse into her personal journey to rediscover herself. “It’s been two-and-a-half years of trying to find my footing. It’s so easy for me to work, work, work and avoid, but I had to go on a mental and spiritual journey,” she said in an interview.
      The singer took a break after the album release as she gave birth to her first child with fiance Orlando Bloom.
      She has since been back to work, but she admitted it was hard to leave baby Daisy home. “It’s amazing. I’m so grateful for this opportunity and for this job, and to be able to continue to inspire other people to go after their dreams,” she said. “I mean, my life just feels very full and whole.
