Zayn Malik's Leaked Single 'Hurt' Suggests Gigi Hadid Hurts Him 'the Worst'

    WENN/Will Alexander

The former One Direction member and the daughter of model Yolanda Hadid, who were first linked romantically to each other in 2015, went on and off before splitting for good in early 2019.
    Apr 2, 2020
AceShowbiz – Zayn Malik seems to be left butt-hurt by his relationship with Gigi Hadid. On Monday, March 30, an unreleased song of the former One Direction member titled “Hurt” surfaced online, and it suggested that the Victoria’s Secret model has hurt him “the worst.”
In the leaked track, the 27-year-old singer can be heard singing, “You know me the best but you hurt me the worst/ Every single thing you know about me is every single thing you use to only hurt.” He continues, “I know I should let go now (but I know, but I know), no one else feels like home, yeah/ You know just what to say to make me stay, make me stay/ One more dose of the pain.”
The song itself was written in 2017, one year prior to the release of the “Pillowtalk” hitmaker’s album “Icarus Falls”. Fans were quick to voice their disapproval of its leak with one in particular noting, “This is the THIRD time someone has allowed one of Zayn’s track to be leaked. We stand by Zayn in all of this and know he deserves better from his team and from fans #WeLoveYouZayn.”
In the love department, Malik began dating Hadid in 2015, only months after his split from ex-fiancee and Little Mix member Perrie Edwards. The Sia Furler-collaborator for “Dusk Till Dawn”, however, split from the daughter of Yolanda Hadid broke up in March 2018. They got back together three months later before splitting for good in early 2019.
In November 2019, Malik and Hadid were reported to be back communicating with each other. “They went through a phase where they took time apart and weren’t communicating at all, but they have been in touch recently. She is supportive of him. They chat here and there but it’s been casual,” a source explained to E! News before adding that the model “has always had a soft spot for Zayn and they have a lot of history together.”

Chuck D Admits to Faking Flavor Flav Firing to Promote Public Enemy Album

    Instagram

The feud between Chuck D and Flavor Flav is claimed to be a publicity stunt to draw attention to their hip-hop group as they are gearing up to release a new album.
    Apr 2, 2020
AceShowbiz – Chuck D hasn’t fired Flavor Flav from Public Enemy as he insisted their feud was just a publicity stunt to promote the group’s new album.
The pair’s relationship looked to have broken down last month, March 2020, with the rapper announcing he was firing his old colleague after Flav sent a cease and desist letter over the use of the Public Enemy name for Chuck’s gig in support of U.S. presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders.
However, in an interview with Talib Kweli on the Uproxx podcast “People’s Party”, recorded on March 10, the hip-hop legend said he was inspired by Orson Welles’ infamous “War of the Worlds” hoax and staged their feud to improve Flav’s image.
“We felt that over the past few years, Flavor’s stock was low,” he explained. “Anybody that could take a shot at him could get a good shot at him.”

Chuck added that he viewed the legal letter over the Sanders concert featuring the group’s spin-off act Public Enemy Radio as a “good move” and they agreed to use the dispute to drive media coverage.
Asked about whether Flav is still in Public Enemy, he confessed that the hype man cannot be dismissed from the group.
“He can’t (be fired), he’s a partner,” the “Fight the Power” hitmaker said. “You can’t fire partners. You just walk away from ’em.”
Chuck then claimed that he and Flav have been working on a new Public Enemy Radio album since the end of February and that their relationship is “better than ever.”
Flav is yet to comment on his bandmate’s claims his firing was staged.

    Apr 1, 2020

Billie Eilish’s brother performed “I Don’t Miss You at All” from his home studio towards the end of the first day of the 18-hour digital event and then offered up a stern message to fans who are still ignoring stay-at-home guidelines.
“If it is at all possible for you to do so with your current job, please, please, please stay home and know that the sooner everybody gets on board with this and self isolates and social distances, the sooner we can get everything going again,” he said.
“I heard a terrifying statistic that if everyone, except essential personnel…, social distanced, we’d know who has it (Covid-19) and who doesn’t in something like 15 days, and that’s all it would take.”
“There are flaws in that but I think the main point in all of this is, it’s so, so, so important for the health of everybody in this country and around the world for us all to understand it’s not about how it impacts us; it’s about how it impacts everybody, so I urge you all to take this as seriously as you possibly can. Stay at home.”

The first day of the Fader Fort festival also featured live at-home performances by Noah Cyrus, Hanson, and Little Dragon, archived showcases, videos, and tutorials on meditation, cooking and how to roll a joint.
A second day was added as the festival began and that will kick off at 10 A.M. EST on Wednesday (April 01) on https://www.thefader.com/event/digital-fort-2020.

Mariah Carey and The Neptunes' Induction to Songwriters Hall of Fame Delayed to 2021

    Instagram

As the coronavirus continues to wreak havoc around the world, the Songwriters Hall of Fame’s 51st Annual Induction and Awards Gala gets postponed one year to June 10.
    Apr 1, 2020
AceShowbiz – Mariah Carey, the Eurythmics and The Neptunes will have to wait until next year (21) to celebrate their inductions into the Songwriters Hall of Fame as the coronavirus chaos continues.
The stars, alongside Steve Miller, Rick Nowels and Motown icon William Stevenson, were all due to be inducted into the institution at a special ceremony in New York in June, but the event has since been postponed until 2021.
In a statement issued on Tuesday (March 31), SHOF President and CEO, Linda Moran, wrote, “In facing the reality of the future being unknown and the extraordinary number of schedules which would have to be rearranged, although sad and very disappointing, it seemed to be more prudent and in the best interests and well-being of everyone, especially our inductees, honorees, and guests to move the 2020 class of inductees and honorees in its entirety to next year’s gala when they can be truly celebrated.”
Added SHOF Chairman Nile Rodgers, “We talk all the time about great songs making the world a better place but that’s never been more true than at challenged times like these which are unprecedented.”
“The wonderful songs that members of the Songwriters Hall of Fame have created are currently bringing comfort to billions of people all over the world in their time of uncertainty and need and that is something I believe we can all find gratitude in. We are family, please be safe.”

The Songwriters Hall of Fame’s 51st Annual Induction & Awards Gala will now take place on 10 June, 2021.
In addition to the Class of 2020 salute, “We’ve Only Just Begun” composer and lyricist Paul Williams will receive the prestigious Johnny Mercer Award, and Universal Music Publishing Chairman and CEO, Jody Gerson, will be presented with the Abe Olman Publisher Award at the rescheduled ceremony.
