They would eventually live happily ever after, but it’s safe to say their marriage of 43 years was a rocky one.They briefly separated in 2016 when she found out about his rumoured affair with hairstylist Michelle Pugh. He goes to a stage where he gets that look in his eyes, the shutters were down and I just couldn’t get through to him. He was calm – very calm – then suddenly he lunged across at me and just dived on me and started to choke me.”He got me down on the ground on top of me and I was feeling for stuff on the table. I felt the panic button and I just pressed it and the next thing I know, the cops were there.” Ozzy would later spend six months in rehab.He said of the incident: “It’s not exactly one of my greatest achievements. Lead singer Rhian took to Instagram to pledge a celebratory stunt if they pipped the controversial Britpop band to the post.And they’ve now followed through, sort of. It all started when Rhian took to Wet Leg’s Instagram where she posted a dig at Oasis and their fans – largely middle-aged men – who have found issue with her furry armpits.”It’s only fair that you sacrifice the #1 glory of your man duo if you want to rid me of my fluff-tuffts,” she captioned the viral clip to the band’s 544,000 followers.In the video, she shared: “According to the official charts…moisturizer will go head to head against Oasis for the number one spot. Been trying to think how I can sabotage Oasis so we nab the number one.”Maybe I can spread a rumour that they’re really mean people. Hmmm…actually that might not work. Wait I have a better idea. Some are even going as far as saying it’s bad for business”Funny, I never expected such a response on my hair cause well…I’m not a pre-pubescent child. But I’ll strike up a deal for those who have been offended by my grizzly growlers.””If somehow we manage to beat Oasis to number one tomorrow [Friday 18 July]…I’ll shave the pits. Not quite.Yesterday (22 July), the band – comprising of fellow singer Hester Chambers, drummer Henry Holmes, guitarist Joshua Mobaraki and bassist Ellis Durand – took to the beach to celebrate their win with the Official Charts gong.They then got the shaving cream out, covering some of the trophy with it, and got their shave on. But, not all of the band got up, close and personal with the razor.Only the blokes dared to get de-fuzzed on the beach, with Rhian and Hester maintaining their under arm hair. The conversation took place prior to Ozzy’s last on-stage performance alongside former Black Sabbath members in Birmingham.In this candid discussion, Sharon spoke frankly about the challenges of managing her husband’s career while raising their three children. Six pregnancies – I lost three and I had three. We built our own little family,” reports the Mirror.”People that have just been amazing, that have been with us for years that worked for us, but with us, you know?”We still have the same team of people with us, which we’re blessed for.”Sharon also shared her experience with colon cancer, which she was diagnosed with in the early 2000s and later recovered from. At the time, she and Ozzy were starring in their reality TV show The Osbournes alongside their children, and Sharon chose to continue filming despite undergoing treatment, in order to shield them from the harsh reality.Ozzy Osbourne performing on stageExplaining her decision to persevere with work, Sharon poignantly said: “Because I didn’t want my kids and my husband to know how sick I was. When you say ‘cancer’, everybody always thinks ‘death’. And you’ve got to remember it was 23 years ago.”At that point, cancer wasn’t the same as it is now. So everybody always thought it was a death sentence and I didn’t want my kids to have fear constantly surrounding them. I didn’t want it.”Tragically, just weeks after Sharon gave this interview, Ozzy passed away at the age of 76. Wife Sharon Osbourne shared the sad news in a family statement, which was also signed off by four of Ozzy’s six children.Since then, music fans have been in mourning, remembering some of Ozzy’s most iconic moments. Of course, one moment he is best known for is biting the head off of a bat during a gig. He would later admit he thought it was fake before he felt his mouth fill with blood.It wasn’t the only animal-biting incident, though, as Ozzy bit the heads off two dead doves during a meeting he was getting bored of.Known as the Prince of Darkness, his on-stage persona soon evolved from a fresh-faced 20-something to the gothic look he was known for at the height of his fame.The Black Sabbath icon had six children – Jessica and Louis from his first marriage to to Thelma Riley. He also adopted her son Elliot.Ozzy then went on to have three children with his second wife Sharon – Aimee, Kelly and Jack. Louis would say in 2011 that Ozzy’s was “not good for family life” due to him being drunk. Though it appears in his later life he calmed down, with Louis saying he was a “doting grandad”.Louis was included on the family statement about Ozzy’s death, as well as Sharon, Kelly and Jack. Aimee, who like Louis lives a life away from the spotlight, was also included.Kelly recently spoke out to slam claims that her parents had a so-called “death pact”.
