The film’s description reads: “A recently bereaved teenage girl goes to live with her aunt in a secluded woodland house, unaware that sinister forces lurk within.”Underneath the film’s trailer on YouTube, which showed a young girl terrorised in a mental asylum, fans were seriously unimpressed with what they saw and slammed the retelling of the classic Disney tale. One person furiously typed: “The acting in this movie was so bad to the point where a dead character blinked.”Another scathed: “I need to know HOW AND WHY this piece of c*** has randomly made it to theatres where I live,” while someone else chimed in: “From the trailer it looks like this movie is all over the place very confusing.”Alice in Terrorland is based on the Disney filmHowever, some people expressed their excitement for the 2023 horror and couldn’t resist adding their thoughts. One comment read: “Its an eerie movie. Has alot of deep meanings. I thought it was worth watching and kept my attention. Despite the horrifying scenes, cinemagoers were divided over the trailer and rushed to the comments once again.Someone wanted to know “where’s Thumper and Flower” while another X/Twitter user savagely branded the film “aggressively unnecessary”.
