Liz Hurley hints son won’t have an inheritance as she plans to ‘go out empty’
Actress Liz Hurley is starring in a new Channel 4 series as a deceased woman offering out her fortune, but in real life she’s hinted that her son Damian may not see any of it12:15, 28 Aug 2025Liz Hurley has hinted that she won’t be leaving her son any money.The actress is taking part in new reality TV game show The Inheritance, which will see her set challenges from the afterlife to decide which person receives her fortune. However, in real life the actress’ son Damian may not be so lucky.The 60-year-old film star, who is starring in the upcoming Channel 4 series alongside Rob Rinder, said: “I have a set of tiny porcelain coffee cups which belonged to my favourite great aunt, I think of her with every espresso.””I want everyone I love to check out on empty, having spent every penny on enjoying themselves. I’m not desperate to inherit anything.”When asked about Damian’s inheritance Liz replied: “I mean what makes you think I believe in passing anything on? I might go out on empty, you never know.”Liz has hinted that she may not be leaving anything behind for Damian(Image: WireImage)In The Inheritance, Liz plays a wealthy woman only referred to as The Deceased and thirteen strangers compete for the prize money in a giant mansion. Liz spoke about her role in the series and said: “I’ve died on screen quite a few times, but I don’t recall lying in a coffin before.””I quite enjoyed it actually, it was very restful. My character, she’s basically known she was dying and video-taped a lot of herself in order for the contestants to see her so she could harangue them from the grave.”I think it’s such a camp thing to do, to video yourself. I mean, I may do it myself. Just stash something in the cloud.”The actress stars alongside Judge Rinder star Rob RinderLiz said she “enjoyed working with Rob very much” as she was already “a fan of his anyway”. The glam actress branded him “great and fabulous”.”We didn’t actually work together before on this, because I’m ‘dead’. All mine is pre-recorded, so I actually don’t have any live action, but we were on the set together.””It makes me sound very shallow, but I loved the costumes very much and I liked my character very much.
