Disney’s beloved 1941 film Dumbo had a Tim Burton remake back in 2019 and fans had no idea what they were about to witness when the film came out in cinemas11:00, 29 Mar 2025Dumbo trailer released starring Colin Farrell and Eva GreenDumbo is seriously dark.The 2019 remake of the beloved 1941 Disney film has a very dark plot and many viewers were scarred after watching, with no idea what they were signing themselves up for. The film follows Holt, a circus performer, who has to look after an elephant with large ears named Dumbo.Article continues belowHe learns that Dumbo can fly, which results in a number of crooks attempting to take the elephant for their own. The film was directed by Tim Burton and social media was ablaze with stunned comments after fans returned from the cinema.Over on Reddit, at the time viewers branded Burton’s Dumbo as “nightmare fuel” while one person wrote: “It’s Tim Burton, what do you expect?”The Dumbo remake was released back in 2019Another said: “This however definitely does not keep to original story and it’s really nightmare fuel, I whispered to my husband: ‘What did they do to Dumbo?””They butchered it and turned it into some creepy freaky remake but what else would you expect from Tim Burton??
