    Pussycat Dolls Rumored to Sign New Management Deal

    Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt, Carmit Bachar, and Jessica Sutta are reportedly being eyed by giant management company Maverick following their reunion.

    AceShowbiz – The Pussycat Dolls are reportedly in talks to sign a new management deal.
    The pop group – comprised of Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt, Carmit Bachar, and Jessica Sutta – is said to have attracted interest from Madonna and Britney Spears’ management company Maverick, and despite speculation Nicole was planning to go solo again, she is said to be “focused” on the Dolls.
    “The pandemic has hampered plans for The Pussycat Dolls but as far as they are concerned, they’re all raring to get going as soon as it’s safe to do so,” a source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper.
    “Nicole had considered doing some solo music last year and wrote a series of songs including a track about social distancing called Anti-Party Anthem. That one was a fun nod to lockdown life, which she wrote when the pandemic had just started but she decided not to put it out a short while later.

    “The time has passed and she has no plans right now to do anything as a solo artist.”
    The “Don’t Cha” hitmakers are said to be “determined” to release some new songs later this year (21), but it is proving “tricky” to get together amid the coronavirus pandemic.
    “This new team is great news for them and they’ve got a handful of songs which they are plotting to release when they can all safely get together again,” the source added. “With half of the group in the U.K. and half in the U.S., it is tricky, but they are determined to release some singles in 2021.”
    Last year, the “When I Grow Up” singers were forced to postpone their UK comeback tour due to the pandemic. The tour has been rescheduled for May and June this year.

      AceShowbiz – Ashley Roberts didn’t hold back as she shared a strongly-worded message for critics of The Pussycat Dolls and their sexy performances.
      The 38-year-old singer and her bandmates have faced backlash since their return to the spotlight, with many viewers complaining to broadcasting watchdog Ofcom about the group’s provocative performances on the television.
      But Ashley isn’t interested in hearing people slam the five-piece for their raunchy displays.
      “Someone told me that within the stage of me as a woman that I shouldn’t be sexy and I’m like ‘f**k off,’ ” she snapped. “Magic Mike comes on and everyone loves it but women do it and we’re called prostitutes.
      “I want to embrace the fact that I’m a woman getting to go back out with my girls as that sometimes doesn’t happen. We have nothing to prove we just want to go out there and have some fun again. I want to be sexy when I’m like 90!”
      The Pussycat Dolls had to push their reunion tour dates back until October 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, but Ashley told Sky News that while she was disappointed about the delay, she understands why it had to happen.
      “I know and we were so excited about doing our tour,” she sighed. “But under the circumstances, what matters most is everybody being safe and healthy. So we knew that they had to be postponed and we’re just grateful that we actually have locked-in dates for October.”

      AceShowbiz – The Pussycat Dolls have scrapped their reunion tour plans amid growing concerns over the coronavirus pandemic.
      The group, which was set to hit the road for a series of shows from next month (April 2020), have postponed the concerts to October.
      Band member Ashley Roberts announced the news in an Instagram post on Wednesday, March 18, noting she was “sad” and “gutted” to call off the trek.
      “Alright Doll lovers… Following the latest government advice we are very sad to announce that we are postponing our upcoming UK and Ireland tour,” she posted. “We’re gutted not to be able to perform next month, but the safety and health of our fans is of course our No.1 priority.”
      “That being said… I can’t wait to see y’all in October! We plan to throw down!!”

      The group, which also includes Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, Carmit Bachar and Jessica Sutta, reunited late last year and have already given fans a taste of what to success with a series of TV performances.
