Viewers are taking to social media to express their anger at the reunion host as one slams him by writing on Twitter, ‘Never knew @Andy was so biased and loved Candiace so much.’

AceShowbiz – Andy Cohen was under fire following the broadcast of the third part of “The Real Housewives of Potomac” season 5 reunion. Many fans were not happy to see the host showing blatant bias when it came to the fight between co-stars Candiace Dillard and Monique Samuels.
Seemingly siding with Candiace, Andy grilled Monique in the episode, which aired on Sunday, December 27. In one segment, Monique said that Candiace was the one who started the fight by putting her hands in her fight before things got physical. Even though a clip from production backed up Monique’s claims, Andy denied that it happened.
Andy also cornered Monique for looking stoic in the reunion as if she showed no remorse over the brawl. Not stopping there, the “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” host criticized Monique for releasing her new song “Drag Queens”, dubbing it a poor decision in Monique’s part.
In response to that, viewers took to social media to express their anger at Andy. “Never knew @Andy was so biased and loved Candiace so much. It showed Andy. You had no love for Monique. You wanted to take her down too. Maybe she should drag him #RHOP #cancelrhop,” one fan tweeted.

“Damn you Andy Cohen I hope you’re satisfied with the horrible way you came at Monique at the reunion! Newsflash: Don’t think for a moment that crying Candiace and those two boring, bunny-eyed GEMs (green eyed monsters), Gizelle & Robin can fuel RHOP’s future popularity,” another person slammed Andy.
Calling him a bully, someone wrote on the blue bird app, “@Andy also really needs to take a step back and realize how disliked his own hosting was during #RHOP reunion. The bullying against Monique was disgusting,” another Tweeted. Another user chimed in, “Oh wow. I’ve never ever seen @Andy as unlikeable as he is during tonight’s #RHOP reunion. I’m not even sure I can finish the episode. The way you talk to Monique is simply unacceptable.”
Meanwhile, Monique, who announced her exit from the show earlier this week, shared in an interview with All About the Tea that the third part of the reunion was unbearable for her. “I was excited to be back and to know that this time, I’d redeem myself and show my growth but when I saw episode three of the reunion, I said, ‘You know what, I can’t do this anymore,’ ” she divulged.
“It probably would have been a little easier had they fired me instead of me having to sit down and be real and say I have to walk away…I feel like some part of me let a lot of my fans down who have been rooting for me,” she added.

AceShowbiz – Monique Samuels is not going to return for upcoming season 6 of “The Real Housewives of Potomac”. On Sunday, December 27, the Bravo personality announced in an Instagram Live broadcast that she decided to exit the reality TV show following her massive fight with co-star Candiace Dillard in previous season.
Reflecting on her stint on the show, Monique said, “It was a crazy ride, it’s not easy doing reality TV, and to be quite honest, I’m over it.” She went on saying, “I appreciate everything people have done for me, everybody that has been Team Monique, I love yall, but when you cross certain lines there’s no going back.”
She continued noting that she put her family as priority. “For me, my family is that line. The opinion of my family and my kids and what they think about that I do is more valuable to me than anybody’s opinion, so, I’m over it,” she explained.

Monique also said that she departed from the show because she didn’t want her children to grow up seeing rumors about her. “I wanted to represent real Black love and show people something outside what the stereotype has been on TV,” she claimed. “Unfortunately, this season I played right into that stereotype. I was working overtime to check myself because that’s the opposite of what I want to display. I’m always going to be a great example or a role model for my kids and you have to know when enough is enough.”

This arrives after Candiace revealed that she didn’t want to film with Monique. “I will not film with her, I will not work with her,” she declared during her appearance on “Behind the Velvet Rope” podcast. “I, for my mental health, cannot be around someone who is doing a music video to promote the song bragging about fighting me,” she added, referring to Monique’s new song “Drag Queens”.
“And there’s nothing that I need or want to say to her. This is still a job at the end of the day. I’m not working with her and that’s not an ultimatum. That’s nothing but my truth. I am not comfortable in that space,” she went on saying.

AceShowbiz – Monique Samuels dropped huge bombshells on season 5 reunion of “The Real Housewives of Potomac”, claiming that Gizelle Bryant’s Pastor boyfriend Jamal Bryant cheated on her. Jamal appeared to clap back at Monique over the accusation in his new Instagram post.
The man of God took to his Instagram page to share a meme of “Me Minding My OWN business” on Monday, December 14. It featured a video of someone enjoying his meal under a running faucet. “Give no energy to anything that doesn’t add to your joy, align with your purpose or pay any of your bills! Be at peace!” so Gizelle’s ex-husband, who reunited with the reality TV star earlier this year, wrote in the caption.

Fans were loving his response as one applauded him, “Man the level of unbothered is amazing.” Another person quipped, “He ain’t worried bout nothing or no one!” Someone added, “THE MASTER OF COME BACKS!!! Sir, we honor you!”

Gizelle, meanwhile, had her own reaction to the rumors. “Jamal and I have been through a lot,” she said. “There’s a lot that people say. We understand it.” Of Monique’s alleged receipts, she claimed, “I don’t believe anything that comes out of Monique’s mouth or anything that she has in her binder. I’m glad she’s done some bindering. I knew she was coming to make up whatever.”
In an interview for Bravo’s Chat Room on Sunday, Gizelle shaded Monique by calling her binder “a kindergarten scrapbook of lies.” She went on saying, “It’s very pressed. It’s very ‘in the pandemic you learned how to scrapbook’ to me. I was thinking, ‘She’s got a whole lot of time on her hands.’ ”
In the explosive reunion, which aired on Sunday, Monique dropped the bombshell about Gizelle and Jamal, shocking everyone. “When ya’ll were announcing that ya’ll got back together, he told his girlfriend at the time that it was just reality TV and it wasn’t true,” she claimed, before adding that Jamal’s alleged girlfriend reached out to her and sent her screenshots and “pictures of her in his bed and everything else.”
“He’s definitely been talking to another woman and if you’d like to see them I got them in my little receipt book,” Monique said, showing her binder of receipts. She then read out Jamal’s phone number to prove that the messages were real.

AceShowbiz – The reunion special for “The Real Housewives of Potomac” season 5 seemingly will be dramatic. In a sneak peek clip for the three-part special, cast members Candiace Dillard and Monique Samuels are seen meeting each other for the first time following their brutal fight earlier in the season.
In the clip, Andy Cohen returns as the host of the special episode in which the Housewives will discuss everything that is happening throughout the season. The cast members, inlcuding Gizelle Bryant, Karen Huger, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon and Dr. Wendy Osefo, will also try to end their unresolved issues in addition to confronting each other.
The meeting between Candiace and Monique will come nearly 12 months after the brawl took place. Prior to this, Monique revealed that she went to “many therapy sessions” after the physical altercation. “I usually will counsel with my pastor or my godfather…but this time I wanted to take it a step further. I said, ‘I want to find someone who doesn’t know me, who’s going to be completely unbiased…to just, like, really dig deep and help me figure out what caused me to get to that point.’ ”

She went on to say that her aggresive behavior at that moment had something to do with her childhood trauma. “I actually learned I had some childhood triggers that I did not realize I developed over the years and that were harboring within me for a very long time,” she admitted.
Meanwhile, Candiace said that she was upset when she saw footage of the fight played on the screen for the first time. “It was awful to watch. My heart was palpitating, I was angry all over again. I was frustrated. I was sad. I was embarrassed. I was every emotion — it’s still awful to see it playing in perpetuity on the internet,” she claimed.
The first part of season 5 reunion will air on Sunday, December 13. Meanwhile, part 2 and the third and final part of the special episode will broadcast on December 20 and December 27 respectively. Prior to that, the finale is set to premiere on December 6 at 9 P.M. on Bravo.

AceShowbiz – A new beef has been born on “The Real Housewives of Potomac”. In the Sunday, November 29 episode of the Bravo reality show, the ladies gathered for the first time following their dramatic trip to Portugal. However, the event was equally dramatic as host Karen Huger walked out of her own event and it had something to do with Monique Samuels.
The episode saw the Housewives attending Karen’s party to celebrate the launch of her new wig line. Prior to that, Ashley Darby and Monique met up for lunch. At the time, Monique revealed to Ashley that she’d been invited to Karen’s launch party, saying, “She’s been asking me all weekend to come and I told her if I do come, I can come early — [she’s] obviously going to invite [Candiace Dillard] and I want to support [her], but I’m not ready to be in the same space as Candiace.”
Ashley was surprised with the revelation because back during the cast trip to Portugal, Karen said that she didn’t invite Monique to her event. She then called Karen, asking her to confirm her remarks about Monique. However, the LaDame fragrance founder denied ever saying that. “I don’t remember that … It’s people twisting my words,” Karen insisted.

Meanwhile, Gizelle Bryant said in a confessional that she wouldn’t attend the bash. “I will not be attending Karen’s wig party because of her business partner, Steven, the dude that talks about me real bad on social media,” she said, calling out Karen’s creative director for the wig line. “And this is not even your business, it’s his business.”
True to her words, Monique arrived at the event 30 minutes earlier. She wasn’t there for too long because when Candiance texted Karen that she was on the way, Monique decided to just go home.
Later that night, Ashley confronted Karen about Monique. “Monique made it clear that you did invite her to come. And then Monique herself suggested, ‘Well, maybe I should come to set up.’ Why isn’t she here right now?” asked Ashley. To that, Karen angrily responded, “We have guests here. I’m going to ask you to be respectful. So I’m going to get ready and enjoy the rest of my evening. And thank you all for coming. Okay? Thank you.”
After grabbing her husband’s hand, Karen announced her departure and walked out. “I have warned these women … I am leaving the party because I’m simply embarrassed and I’m tired of this. It’s unacceptable. It looks stupid,” Karen admitted in a confessional. Baffled, Dr. Wendy Osefo said, “How do you leave your own party the moment you get called out? Hello, welcome. Thank you for coming to this bulls**t.”

AceShowbiz – Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard’s brutal fight has been the major focus in current season 5 of “The Real Housewives of Potomac”. It appears that Monique wasn’t happy about how her castmates reacted following the altercation.
“They made this whole incident about themselves,” she said of the other Housewives during her interview with The Jam. “If they were actually thinking about myself and about Candiace — who the incident actually involved — I think they would have took a more of an approach like, ‘Hey, let’s try to piece this together, let’s bring these beautiful women together and get them on the right track and let’s be the big sisters in this situation and see them through it.’ ”
Instead of doing that, “they made it about themselves, they got on their high horses, they cast a lot of judgment,” according to Monique, who appeared to refer to frenemies Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon. She added, “It was more about ‘Oh, let’s just exile her and get her about the circle and who cares about what her process has been.’ ”

Monique then seemingly confirmed rumors that the ladies refused to film with her. “So, there was healing that needed to be done on both sides and I don’t think the ladies ever acknowledged that, they just all had their little meeting, got together, and said, ‘Get Monique out of here!’ ” she went on to say.
Further development of the drama between the Potomac ladies will soon play out in the upcoming season 5 reunion, which was filmed last week. Reunion host Andy Cohen, who also served as the executive producer of the Bravo reality show, previously teased that the reunion would be the shadiest and most epic reunion in the show’s history.

“I’m not gonna show them to you, but I’ve got a Grande Dame to my right, and a Gizelle to the left,” Andy teased in a video. He added, “And we are getting ready, and it is a shady tree!”

AceShowbiz – New mom Ashley Darby couldn’t stay being apart from her son Dean and husband Michael Darby for too long. In the Sunday, November 8 episode of “The Real Housewives of Potomac”, she could be seen getting emotional during a cast trip to Portugal. She claimed that she felt anxious leaving Dean behind for the first time.
She asked her close friend Eve to help take care of Dean during the day so that Michael could put their son to bed after he came home from work. However, Dean wasn’t the only reason she was nervous. Prior to this, Michael admitted to visiting a strip club and doing something he “regrets” when Ashley left him alone with their baby.
“Dean and I are going to spend a lot of time together,” Michael said in the new episode. Ashley then asked, “Are you going to behave while I’m gone?” to which Michael responded, “Absolutely.”
“One of the things you mentioned was that sometimes you just need to talk and get it out before you make a decision that you don’t want to make, so you can call me,” she told Michael.
During the trip to Madeira, Ashley was joined by fellow cast members Gizelle Bryant, Robyn Dixon, Dr. Wendy Osefo, Karen Huger and Candiace Dillard. Ashley didn’t invite Monique Samuels following her brutal physical altercation with Candiace back in November 2019. They had dinner after they arrived and the drama started immediately with Wendy and Karen’s beef.

Later in the episode, Gizelle asked Ashley about her relationship with her husband. “I’m finally starting to feel better. I’m officially 100 percent back in my marriage,” Ashley told the ladies. Gizelle then replied, “One hundred percent? That was like, in a month you went from 60, 40 to 100.”
“There were a lot of things we hadn’t talked about,” Ashley admitted, though she claimed that she wasn’t bothered if something happened when she was away. “I’m more understanding about the circumstances,” Ashley said, adding, “I wasn’t being the supportive wife that I had been.”
Robyn then chimed in, “I want you to stop taking responsibility and putting the weight on you being a new mother, and trying to navigate that. He needs to support you because this is something new that you’re going through.” The 41-year-old, who has history when it comes to dealing with infidelity, urged Ashley to hold her husband “accountable” for his actions.
“I didn’t have the energy to care about what my husband was doing, and I’m getting that from Ashley. But she’s got to hold him accountable,” she explained in a confessional.
Ashley then called Eve, who told her that Michael hadn’t come home yet. When she called him, Michael told Ashley that he was in a meeting. She told him that she needed to at least tell Eve if he was going to be a little bit late.
It didn’t sit well with Michael who responded, “I can’t do this. I’ll call you when I get home. … I can’t be molested like this. This is crazy.” That prompted Ashley to cry on her bed. “I just want to go home. I miss my kid,” she said. Despite the rough night, the couple was able to resolve the issue.

AceShowbiz – In the Sunday, November 1 episode of “The Real Housewives of Potomac”, a new feud erupted. After Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard’s drama, it was fellow cast members Dr. Wendy Osefo and Karen Huger who were involved in a heated argument.
The episode kicked off with Gizelle Bryant asking Karen about her marital problems with her husband Ray after Wendy told her and Robyn Dixon in last week’s episode that Karen appeared to resent Ray for using her own money to get him out of tax trouble. When Gizelle told Karen that Wendy made it sound that the whole thing drove her “stressful” because she “wanted the money back from [Ray],” Karen quickly denied.
“That’s a reach…you’re saying Wendy said that?” she asked Gizelle. Later in a confessional, Karen slammed Wendy for saying such things to others. “Ray and I are going through a lot and for Wendy to take that information that I shared with her back to Gizelle and make it gossip and make fun of it is not cool. It’s not alright,” Karen shared.
Although Karen told Gizelle and Robyn that she and Wendy “were going to be fine,” she proceeded to question the latter’s career and also imitate her walk. “I don’t know anything about blackouts or fits of anger,” Karen said, referring to Monique, who said she “blacked out” during her physical fight with Candiace. “This is medical … She says she’s a doctor … she’s not a medical doctor and she was speaking authoritatively to me.”

Meanwhile, Wendy responded to being called “ignorant” by Karen for trying to make the latter hold Monique accountable for her fight with Candiace. “I am tired of Karen’s constant jabs, and I’m not ignorant,” she said in a confessional in the episode. “For me to even get these degrees, it was a struggle. I got two of these degrees while pregnant. I lost my dad while getting my doctorate and even through all those struggles, I never quit.”
Wendy then confronted Karen when they and other Housewives were invited to do a photoshoot for Robyn’s hat line, Embellished. “Karen, I spoke to Robyn and Gizelle. I find it odd that you were talking about me being a doctor and mimicking me, and you don’t even have one degree and I have four,” she said. “I am not one to brag about my degrees, [but] less than two percent of [people in] the world have [a PhD]. You always talk about uplifting women, well, goddammit, it’s an accomplishment to have a PhD. You should be uplifting it.”
In response to that, Karen replied, “Let’s be very clear, you and I, each time we have an issue, it’s based on an interpretation of what I said to someone. It’s always taken out of context and said with a hint of funk to it. Understand that I understand the power of education. I come from an extremely educated family and even though I don’t have a degree.” She added, “I’m one of those people that succeed [without a degree]. There’s a lot of people in this country that do not have degrees.”
Karen revealed in another confessional interview that she was more upset with Gizelle for “twisting” her words. “I think Gizelle twisting my words is an indicator that something’s not right in her personal relationship with Jamal,” she said. “Anytime she starts twisting her words, it tells me her s**t is not right. I’m going to forgive Wendy and I’m going to look straight at Gizelle and say, ‘What’s going on in your life?’ ”
During the photoshoot, Karen also denied questioning Wendy’s career, though she admitted to doing an impersonation of her. She then showed everyone how exactly she “mimicked” Wendy, prompting Wendy and others to laugh it off.
