AceShowbiz – Fans of “The Real Housewives of Potomac” will be given more insights into the drama between Monique Samuels and her co-star Candiace Dillard following their brutal fight. In a preview for next week’s episode of the Bravo reality show series, Monique can be seen reacting to her former friend pressing charges against her.
She seems to be nervous that she might end in the jail now that Candiace took legal action. “If the judge believes your story and never heard mine, I could be arrested in front of my kids,” she says in the teaser.
Monique, however, won’t let that happen as later in the clip she hints that she has also filed a counterclaim against Candiace. “If you’re going to come after me, I have no choice but to come after you,” Monique reveals in a confessional. Candiace may catch wind of the move as she can be seen crying and saying, “That rusty a** b***h.”

Monique and Candiace pressed charges and accused each other of second-degree assault with lawsuits that were filed in the District Court of Montgomery County in Maryland back in November. However, later in December, the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office informed lawyers for the co-stars that they would not be pursuing their ongoing cross complaints.
In a previous episode, “RHOP” stars were shocked to find out that Candiace pressed charges against Monique following the brawl. When Candiace said that she planned to put Monique in jail, Gizelle responded, “That’s a lot.” Robyn Dixon echoed the sentiment, saying, “I would hate for her to go to jail.”
Meanwhile, Karen Huger revealed to the other Housewives that she reached out to Monique following the fight. She told them that Monique seemed to regret acting violently at the time and that Monique told her that Candiace “didn’t deserve that.”

AceShowbiz – Karen Huger isn’t gonna take sides following Candiace Dillard and Monique Samuels’ violent fight. In a preview of next week’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Potomac”, Karen can be seen slamming Candiace for constantly trying to make her turn against Monique.
“I’m a little upset that you continuously say I should be against Monique,” the 57-year-old tells Candiace. The latter argues, “I need to hear from you that you understand what Monique did was wrong,” referring to her claims that Monique attacked her first during their physical altercation earlier this season.
Hitting back, Karen yells, “You want me to choose a side and to totally abandon Monique, and I’m not going to do that for you.” The situation prompts Dr. Wendy Osefo to chime in, telling Karen that she doesn’t have to abandon Monique and that they simply ask her to hold Monique accountable for her actions.
Meanwhile, in the Sunday, October 18 episode of “RHOP”, the ladies found out that Candiace pressed charges against Monique following the brawl. “How are you feeling?” co-star Gizelle Bryant asked Candiace while they were at Wendy’s daughter Kamrynn’s sip and see. “I’m stressed. I only recently decided to file charges, and it was everywhere in five minutes. I wasn’t expecting it to happen that fast,” Candiace shared.

When Candiace said that she planned to put Monique in jail, Gizelle responded, “That’s a lot.” Robyn Dixon echoed the sentiment, saying, “I would hate for her to go to jail.” While Candiace’s mom Dorothy believed that “there sould be consequences” of everything, Ashley Darby, who used to have beef with Candiace, said, “It actually started with a yelling match on both sides, from what I understand, and it escalated. [Candiace], you were in [Monique’s] face.”
Candiace was offended by Ashley’s remarks, considering that she was actually in the bathroom when the fight erupted. “Is [Monique] paying you to be her mouth piece?” she asked Ashley, who replied, “You have been very aggressive towards me [in the past]. I’m already married to a millionaire. What do I need to be paid for?”
As the two started arguing, Candiace’s husband Chris Bassett stepped in before it went further. “I’m not angry with the way that you’re choosing to move, because you weren’t there and you’re only able to go on what your friend is telling you. If that’s really your friend and you really trust what she says, okay, but I would implore you to just be careful,” he told Ashley.
Meanwhile, Karen revealed to the other Housewives that she reached out to Monique following the fight. She told them that Monique seemed to regret acting violently at the time and that Monique told her that Candiace “didn’t deserve that.”

AceShowbiz – “The Real Housewives of Potomac” continues to show the aftermath of Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard’s brutal physical altercation. In a preview for next week’s episode of the show, Candiace is revealed to be pressing charges against her co-star as she wanted her to face consequences for her actions.
During a party hosted in Dr. Wendy Osefo’s daughter Kamrynn’s honor, she tells the other ladies, “Oh my God! Monique was charged with second-degree assault.” Robyn Dixon then asks, “Is the goal for her to go to jail?” to which Candiace says, “Yeah!” She went on adding, “I want this prosecuted to the full extent.”
Karen Huger later admits to Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby that she advised Candiace to press charges. “I said I would look into what she could do legally,” Karen shares to them while on a trip to her hometown in Virginia.
Meanwhile, Monique appears to be wanting to fix things with Candiace after the brawl. In the Sunday, October 11 episode of the show, she expressed to Pastor Chad and his wife Darice, “This entire situation has turned my life upside down. … I need to understand how I allowed someone to push me outside my normal behavior.”

Pastor Chad then responded, “You need to be honest with what’s going on in your own heart. That may be hard for you because you’re used to controlling and orchestrating, but it’s you trying to protect everything, because you had to protect everything as a child through young adulthood.”
He went on saying, “When I met you, you were a fighter because of the bullying you went through growing up and when you met Chris, you had to prove yourself over and over again. You’ve been in survival mode since a kid,” he says, adding that the fight with Candiace may have been a result of so many feelings Monique had bottled up.”
Monique broke down to tears, saying that she’s tired of people “nitpicking” every single thing she does. “I’m tired of constantly trying to have to prove myself when I know my self worth,” she explained. To that, Pastor Chad replied, “You have to ask yourself a question … why was that such a trigger? In your own mind, you are ideal, but around this group of women – they are not impressed with your own perfection and that causes you disdain. It’s something you need to reconcile inside of you.”
Showing remorse, Monique responded, “What you’re saying is right. There was a lot of pressure building up inside me that had nothing to do with her. She didn’t deserve that.”

AceShowbiz – Monique Williams and Candiace Dillard’s violent fight on “The Real Housewives of Potomac” is still the talk of the town. “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams addressed the fight between the two Bravo personalities in a new interview.
Talking about Monique, Porsha said, “She has to know her part, which I feel she has, but she doesn’t know if Candiace has owned her part yet. So for her to take the initiative to go ahead and do it first, it’s tough. And ya’ll are a tough crowd you have to admit that Gizelle [Bryant].”
She later responded to fans comparing the physical altercation to her own with “RHOA” co-star Kenya Moore back in 2014 reunion. “At the end of the day, any type of altercation period, they’re going to compare us. Especially if it happens on these cameras,” she said.

The mom of one admitted that she might be able to relate to Monique. “Now in my situation, I felt provoked, and that’s a personal feeling. I personally felt provoked, and pushed to that level. Now Monique she may feel that way, as well,” she explained. “I just feel like in her case, it kind of built up, and I just feel like we shouldn’t judge her.”
Prior to this, Monique appeared to hint that she considered quitting “RHOP”. “There is no explanation behind what happened,” Monique told fellow Housewives while crying. “I’m not here to bash Candiace. I just want to talk about myself. What y’all saw is not who I am.” Monique also admitted that she was “embarrassed” and “ashamed of myself for my actions for even letting anybody get under my skin to a point where I would react that way.”
Recalling the fight, she said that “a glass goes into my face [and] I get to swinging” before she “completely blacked out.” However, Robyn Dixon called it “an absolute lie,” adding, “I’m telling you right now, that did not happen in that way. Candiace did not throw wine in your face. Candiace had white wine in her glass. You had red wine on your face. The reason you had red wine is from the velocity of the table of things flying everywhere.” Dr. Wendy Osefo also accused Monique of touching Candiace first.

AceShowbiz – When people think that the physical altercation between Candiace Dillard and Monique Samuels is the biggest fight in season 5 of “The Real Housewives of Potomac”, a new midseason promo teases that it’s only the beginning. The new clip hints that another major fight is coming between the ladies.
It opens with the Housewives enjoying a lavish trip to Portugal. They can be seen pulling pranks on one another before things get heated as it glimpses the aftermath of Candiace and Monique’s physical fight.
Cast member Ashley Darby tells Candiace and Robyn Dixon that Monique asks her “to write a statement.” Robyn then chimes in, “You wrote a statement as revenge towards Candiace,” before Candiace responded, “F**k you, Ashley.” Elsewhere in the trailer, Ashley can be seen yelling, “Monique has no self-control, but what do you have?”

Some people, including Ashley and Candiace’s husbands, Michael Darby and Chris Bassett, are later seen arguing with each other. Concluding the promo is Gizelle Bryant who says, “Potomac don’t stop, can’t stop, won’t stop.”
Candiace and Monique’s fight, which was shown earlier in the current season of the Bravo reality, was not only traumatic for the two but also other Housewives who were present at the scene. “When I watched it, my stomach just turned,” Robyn said of the footage of the fight in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “I was so mortified.”
“Watching it, to be honest, it was … not as bad as it was in the moment,” she admitted. “When you see stuff like that, it makes it harder for people to feel sorry for Candiace in that moment, because it’s almost like she was waiting for Monique to lose her cool. Monique lost her cool and Candiace took the opportunity to really, like, just make it worse.”
“The Real Housewives of Potomac” airs Sunday at 9 P.M. on Bravo.

The infamous physical fight between the two cast members, who were at odds in the entire season, took place while the cast was at a wine testing to celebrate Gizelle Bryant’s literary award.
In the new outing, Ashley Darby could be seen asking Candiace and Monique, “Are you guys good since the lake house?” referring to the tension between the pair after Monique felt disrespected by Candiace as she pulled Gizelle and Ashley away for a chat while at her lake house. In response to the question, Candiace said sarcastically, “I love Monique even when Monique pretends to be asleep when I’m about to leave.”
“What are you talking about?” Monique asked, adding, “Do y’all not understand what I went through? Well, you wouldn’t understand you don’t have kids.” Candiace then accused Monique of mom-shaming her, to which Monique responded, “How is it mom-shaming when you’re not a mom? If you had kids and knew what I went through to get the house ready, you would know I was asleep because I was tired.”

As they continued to argue, Gizelle reminded them that they used to have a “big friendship.” Monique begged to differ, saying, “No, we didn’t. It was a façade of a friendship because it was me putting in and nothing being returned.” Monique also pointed out that she wasn’t a fan of the fact that Candiace and former Housewife Charrisse Jordan Jackson.
Things continued to heat up as Monique yelled to Candiace, asking her to stop putting her hands in her face. It wasn’t physical until Monique appeared to put her hands around Candiace’s neck. Everyone who was present was understandably shocked as Karen Huger could be heard urging, “Monique! Let her go!”
Viewers have to wait for the upcoming episode to see what happens next.

AceShowbiz – Bravo has released a preview for upcoming episode of “The Real Housewives of Potomac”. In the video, cast member Ashley Darby is seen confronting her husband Michael Darby about allegedly going to a strip club while she was on a cast trip at Monique Samuels’ lake house.
“Candiace brings this text to me, saying that you were saying things about how you have a boyfriend and a wife,” Ashley tells Michael while having dinner at a restaurant. “Was there any truth to that?”
Michael denies the allegations. However, he does admit that something happened. “Something happened at the casino,” Michael shares to Ashley before the video ends.
In the Sunday, September 6 episode of “The Real Housewives of Potomac”, Candiace Dillard told Gizelle Bryant, “A good friend of mine texted me — she says: ‘Your girl’ baby daddy was out at the strip club last night.’ ” Gizelle then asked, “Whose baby daddy?” before Candiace showed her a photo of what appeared to be Michael.
“Oh!” Gizelle responded. The text also allegedly read, “My girl is a bartender at the strip club and I came to see her. [Michael] was there with several strippers. He was talking about how he has a boyfriend and a wife. … He was asking who he could take to a hotel nearby.”
During her confessional, Gizelle said, “I pray to God that this is all just like a lie, this is an exaggeration, ’cause Ashley’s been gone for seven minutes. Like she just left.”
Candiace was in dilemma due to the sticky situation. She had to tell Ashley about this information but it might ruin her friendship with Ashley. “You and Ashley just became friends,” Gizelle noted.
Candiace and Gizelle later joined the rest of the women out for dinner. Monique asked Ashley how Michael was doing at home, to which Ashley responded, “I think they had a little boys night after the dinner last night.”
“I have to tell Ashley. Your husband is in these streets and you need to know,” Candiace said in a confessional interview. Later, she appeared to be trying to tell Ashley as she said, “Um… Ashley…,” before the episode ended.
“The Real Housewives of Potomac” air on Sundays at 9 P.M. on Bravo.
