  • Actress Drew Sidora and YouTube Star LaToya Ali to Join Season 13 'RHOA'

    Instagram

The ‘That’s So Raven’ star has been talked about as a possible Housewife in the past, LaToya, who is also known as LaToya Forever, was first reported to join the Bravo show back in 2019.
    Jul 22, 2020
AceShowbiz – New faces will be coming to the upcoming season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”. According to a new report, actress Drew Sidora and Canadian YouTube star LaToya Ali will be joining other cast members in season 13 of the hit Bravo reality series.
Multiple reports claim that before officially coming on board for the new season, the “That’s So Raven” star has been talked about as a possible Housewife in the past. Her credits include “Step Up” and 2013 biopic “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story”.
Drew will be the second actress to appear on the show after Kim Fields. Kim, who starred in season 7 of “RHOA”, left the series one season to prioritize her acting and directing career. “It was for the experience, it was to be able to do a genre that I’d been asked to do before and finding a way to do it that makes sense for my team and my family,” Fields said in 2016, adding that it “was a really great experience.”
Meanwhile, LaToya, who is also known as LaToya Forever, was first reported to join “RHOA” back in 2019. At the time, a site claimed that the pregnant star filmed scenes for weeks with her friend and the show’s cast member Kandi Burruss. Kandi allegedly played a big role in getting the network to sign LaToya on as a Housewife.
LaToya is indeed a huge BFF with Kandi. The Xscape singer was also featured in one of her videos which was titled “Interview: Kandi Burruss SPILLS THE TEA” where Kandi talked about her “sex dungeon.”

Back in May, she offered a birthday shout-out to Kandi on Instagram. “Thank you for embracing me and always showing me luuuv! You are da bomb and I feel so blessed to know God has placed such an inspiring soul in my life. Keep killing it boo,” she wrote.

  • 'Grey's Anatomy' to Tackle Covid-19 Pandemic on Season 17

    ABC

The producer of the longrunning medical drama series confirms that they are going to address the coronavirus health crisis during the upcoming next season.
    Jul 22, 2020
AceShowbiz – The coronavirus pandemic is set to be addressed during the forthcoming 17th season of “Grey’s Anatomy”.
Filming of the series, which follows a group of surgeons in Seattle, Washington, is currently on hold due to the global health crisis but executive producer Krista Vernoff has revealed that when the show resumes production, the deadly disease will be addressed.
Appearing as part of Emmys virtual event “Quaranstreaming: Comfort TV That Keeps Us Going”, she confirmed writers will incorporate a COVID-19 storyline next season.
“We’re going to address this pandemic for sure,” Vernoff explained. “There’s no way to be a long-running medical show and not do the medical story of our lifetimes.”
She added that many of the stories she has read, illustrating what medical workers face on the frontlines of the virus, have mirrored what the
character of Owen Hunt, played by Kevin McKidd, has faced as a trauma surgeon and war veteran.
“Every year, we have doctors come and tell us their stories, and usually they’re telling their funniest or craziest stories,” she added. “This year, it has felt more like therapy.”
Vernoff noted doctors talk about the pandemic as “a war that they were not trained for,” adding, “That’s been one of our big conversations about Owen – he’s actually trained for this in a way that most of the other doctors aren’t…”
“This is an opportunity and a responsibility to tell some of those stories.”
A premiere date for “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 17 has yet to be announced.

  • 'RHOA': Porsha Williams Has to Quarantine for 14 Days Before Joining Cast to Film New Season

    Instagram

The measure is needed after the Bravo personality and more than 100 others were arrested earlier this month during the peaceful protest demanding justice for Breonna Taylor outside the house of Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron.
    Jul 21, 2020
AceShowbiz – The cast members of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” reportedly will soon return to film new season. However, it seems like Porsha Williams will join the others later as it is said that she needs to quarantine herself for 2 weeks after she joined a Breonna Taylor protest.
TheJasmineBrand reports that Porsha is not allowed to return to set before she’s done self-quarantining for 14 days. The Bravo personality needs to take the measure after she protested in Louisville, KY earlier this month while demanding justice in Breonna’s case which led to her arrest.
Porsha and more than 100 others were arrested during the peaceful protest outside the house of Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron, who had been slammed for taking no action against the police involved in her death. Also being taken into custody at the time were rapper Trae tha Truth and “Love & Hip Hop: New York” star Yandy Smith.
Following her arrest, Porsha’s sister took to Instagram to heap praises for the mother of one. “She has always been fearless. You mess with her people, you mess with her. She takes the case of #breonnataylor personally and she’s sacrificing work, time with her loved ones, and her comfort to make sure the offenders are held accountable for their actions,” so she said. “This is her passion, this is her purpose. God please protect them.”
Porsha has been very vocal about social justice and has addressed that she’s following her grandfather, Rev. Hosea Williams, legacy. Her grandfather used to work alongside Martin Luther King Jr. as a pioneer in the Civil Rights Movement.
Meanwhile, upcoming season 13 of “RHOA” will not feature Eva Marcille, who announced her exit back in June. Eva, who joined the show for two seasons, explained at the time, “I have a six-year-old daughter and two young boys still in diapers. They’re 24-hours a day, and there’s a lot of work to be done. So I decided to spend my time and energy focusing on my kids and my community, and not so much reality show business.”

  • Lisa Rinna's Daughter Claims 'RHOBH' Star Forces Her to Be on the Show

    WENN/FayesVision

Responding to rumors that she fakes her anorexia to have more air time, Amelia Hamlin writes, ‘Lying about a mental illness is disgusting. Something I hope nobody would ever do.’
    Jul 21, 2020
AceShowbiz – Lisa Rinna’s daughter Amelia Hamlin has broken her silence on rumors that she fakes her anorexia to be on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”. In a recent Instagram post, Amelia clapped back at a fan accusing her of lying while sharing a shocking statement.
“I usually don’t post these. But this really got to me. Lying about a mental illness is disgusting. Something I hope nobody would ever do. I seriously can’t believe I’m being accused of lying about my anorexia to get more ‘air time,’ ” she wrote on Sunday, July 19.
She then revealed that she was “forced to be on the housewives by mom. Ask anyone it’s the last thing I want to do.” The 19-year-old continued, “I couldn’t careless about air time. So f**k you.”

Amelia Hamlin clapped back at a hater.
Amelia first opened up about having anorexia in 2018. Later in a memorable “RHOBH” episode the year after, she told Lisa that things were so bad that she “could have died.”
She further detailed her struggle in an Instagram post in the same year. “I am SO beyond humbled and grateful to have the platform that I do at such a young age,” she said. “And to wake up every morning with a little girl reaching out to me and telling me I am her inspiration, really makes me feel like I have a purpose. I went through this journey not for attention, not for people to pitty [sic] me, but to help. I am on this earth to help people, and I know that.”
Lisa also addressed her daughter’s battle with an eating disorder in one episode of the Bravo reality show. “The scariest thing about anorexia is: Is she going to have this forever?” she said. “I don’t want to see her suffer. You want to fix it. You want to make it go away. You want to erase it. You know, you just want to take your child out of pain. You don’t want your child to be in pain.”
