    Instagram/WENN

Defending Nick amid backlash over his anti-semitic remarks, the ‘LHH’ alum tweets, ‘He said wtf he said how dare @ViacomCBS accuse him of bigotry & anti Semitism of all things.’
    Jul 17, 2020
AceShowbiz – Masika Kalysha gets Nick Cannon’s back. The former “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star recently took to her Twitter account to show support to Nick, who was fired by ViacomCBS over his anti-semitic comments, in addition to firing shots at the company.
“Damn @NickCannon now u see what I was talkin about. Y’all know @ViacomCBS blackballed me from wild n out, Hollywood [red square emoji], [red heart emoji] & listings & every show they could bc I refused to film degrading dumb a** fake s**t made to tarnish my image & integrity. All they do is objectify Blk ppl,” Masika recently ranted on her account.
“& make us look like the stereotype that’s been emplanted in our heads since childhood,” she continued, adding that the company loves “a broken black home, an abortion, a dead beat dad, baby momma drama, a side b***h scandal…they will create any & everything possible to make u look as ghetto as they possibly.”
“My integrity wasn’t for sale. My boundaries were crossed time & time again. I made it abundantly clear that my child wasn’t going to be a storyline & anything that could negatively effect her would be off limits,” she said. “They thought I was one of the desperate 4 $ cast members who have no other sources of income (that’s how they control them… shhhh) but I wasn’t.”
She went on saying that after she turned ViacomCBS down, the company threatened her and told her that “they weren’t letting me out my contract so I wouldn’t be able to go to any other shows 4 whatever was left of my 8 year till period,” prompting her to hire 3 attorneys. She also said that had a “list of 11 shows & counting that I have written proof that they reached out to casting, producers & executives telling them not to cast me saying they ‘don’t wish to work with me at this time’.”
“They tried to humiliate me, degrade me & set me up to be the stereotypical black bm & when I refused they tried to debilitate me & block me from making $. The more ghetto & ratchet u behave the more shows they’ll put u on. The more desperate u are for attention the more episodes,” Masika fiercely added, accusing them of deleting “positive family scenes” and staging “a fake meeting w the child support attorney they casted” when she was pregnant.
Defending Nick amid backlash over his anti-semitic remarks, Masika then tweeted, “moral of the story @NickCannon aint said s**t wrong. He said wtf he said how dare @ViacomCBS accuse him of bigotry & anti Semitism of all things! The actual audacity! All you do is exploit & oppress black people 4 raitings! Being on that damn show was torture. I was miserable & depressed. I hated goin to work. I had to fight the damn producers everyday.”
Before concluding her lengthy rant, Masika wrote that “Nick actually said & educate ur ignorant selves.” She continued, “I been real quite about all the f**k a** s**t y’all did to me but u woke a sleeping giant. @ViacomCBS Be expecting an email from My attorney y’all hate so bad.”

Masika Kalysha spilled the tea on ViacomCBS.
In the meantime, Nick owned up to his mistake and publicly apologized to his “sisters and brothers for the hurtful and divisive words that came out of my mouth during my interview with Richard Griffin” on “Cannon’s Class”. He added that he’s “committed to deeper connections, more profound learning and strengthening the bond between our two cultures today and every day going forward.”

  • Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews Appear to React to Tyra Banks Being Announced as New 'DWTS' Host

    WENN/FayesVision

This arrives after the former ‘America’s Next Top Model’ host was revealed to replace Tom and Erin as the hosts of the ABC dancing competition in addition to serving as executive producer.
    Jul 17, 2020
AceShowbiz – ABC didn’t waste a long time to reveal that Tyra Banks will be taking over the hosting duties on “Dancing With the Stars” from OG host Tom Bergeron and co-host Erin Andrews. Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, July 15, Tom and Erin seemingly shared their reaction to the matter.
“I guess I won’t be getting back my monogrammed towels,” so Tom wrote not long after Tyra was named as the new host of the show in addition to serving as executive producer. Erin apparently caught wind of the tweet and jokingly responded, “You got towels @TomBergeron??” alongside a winking and a laughing emojis.
Playing along with Erin, Tom replied, “I’m sorry this is how you had to find out.”

Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews seemingly reacted to being replaced by Tyra Banks on ‘DWTS’.
In the replies, meanwhile, fans expressed their disappointment over them being replaced on the ballroom competition series. “Are you kidding me???? They fired two white hosts and replaced them with a black host and nobody is calling them out for discrimination? I’m all for diversity, but this was wrong. I hope you and @ErinAndrews sue them! @ABCNetwork ABC and @DancingABC are banned in my home!” a passionate fan wrote to Tom.
Some others assumed that Tyra would be hosting “Dancing with the Stars” for too long. “You’ll be back. Tyra will quit DWTS like she quits everything else. No shade, just the truth,” one user believed. Echoing the sentiment, another person added, “Tyra did 1 season on AGT. Apparently she’s the get around girl. The ratings will fall. Im not watching.”
Tyra was named as the new host just one day after ABC confirmed Tom and Erin’s exits. “I’ve been a fan of ‘DWTS’ since its beginning. The fun mixed with raw emotion, seeing celebrities push past their comfort zones, the sizzling dance performances,” Tyra said in a statement on Tuesday, July 14. “It’s always transported me to my days of turning it up 10 notches on the catwalk. Tom has set a powerful stage, and I’m excited to continue the legacy and put on my executive producer and hosting hats.”
It was reported that the former “America’s Got Talent” host, who also used to host “America’s Next Top Model”, was in talks with the Alphabet network long before it cut ties with Tom and Erin. As for the upcoming season of “DWTS”, there is still no detail about how “DWTS” will proceed amid coronavirus pandemic. However, one of the certain things about the new season is that “The Bachelor” alum Kaitlyn Bristowe will appear on the show.

    Jul 16, 2020

Taking to his Twitter account on Wednesday, July 15, Nick extended his “deepest and most sincere apologies to my Jewish sisters and brothers for the hurtful and divisive words that came out of my mouth during my interview with Richard Griffin.”
“They reinforced the worst stereotypes of a proud and magnificent people and I feel ashamed of the uninformed and naive place that these words came from. The video of this interview has since been removed,” he went on saying. “While the Jewish experience encompasses more than 5,000 years and there is so much I have yet to learn, I have had at least a minor history lesson over the past few days and to say that it is eye-opening would be a vast understatement.”
In another tweet, “The Masked Singer” host added that he wanted “to express my gratitude to the Rabbis, community leaders and institutions who reached out to me to help enlighten me, instead of chastising me.”
Concluding his series of tweets, the ex-husband of Mariah Carey assured his “Jewish friends, new and old, that this is only the beginning of my education.” Nick, who was fired from comedy series “Wild ‘n Out” by ViacomCBS due to the controversy, added that he’s “committed to deeper connections, more profound learning and strengthening the bond between our two cultures today and every day going forward.”

Nick Cannon formally apologized for his controversial comments.
He then explained in a separate tweet, “On my podcast I used words & referenced literature I assumed to be factual to uplift my community instead turned out to be hateful propaganda and stereotypical rhetoric that pained another community For this I am deeply sorry but now together we can write a new chapter of healing.”

Nick is sorry for paining another community.
In related news, “The Masked Singer” released a statement on Wednesday that it will continue to hold his post as host of the FOX show. “When we were made aware of Nick Cannon’s interview with Richard Griffin on YouTube, we immediately began a dialogue with Nick,” the statement read. “He is clear and remorseful that his words were wrong and lacked both understanding and context, and inadvertently promoted hate.”
“This was important for us to observe. Nick has sincerely apologized, and quickly taken steps to educate himself and make amends. On that basis and given a belief that this moment calls for dialogue, we will move forward with Nick and help him advance this important conversation, broadly,” the statement continued. “FOX condemns all forms of hate directed toward any community and we will combat bigotry of any kind.”

  • Nick Cannon Demands Ownership of 'Wild 'N Out' After Firing, Diddy Offers New Home at Revolt TV

    WENN

The ‘Masked Singer’ host receives support from the Bad Boy mogul as he is seeking for ‘full ownership’ of his rap comedy series after he was fired by ViacomCBS.
    Jul 16, 2020
AceShowbiz – Sean “Diddy” Combs has offered Nick Cannon a job at his network after the TV and radio personality was fired by bosses at ViacomCBS for racist remarks he made during a podcast chat.
The executives severed links with “The Masked Singer” host on Tuesday (14Jul20) after he called white people “savages” and “a little less” than darker-skinned people, during a chat with Public Enemy star Professor Griff on his show, “Cannon’s Class”.
He also suggested white-skinned people act “evil” and “rob, steal, rape, kill in order to survive” due to the fact they are not as strong as their black brothers and sisters.
His comments led to a storm of backlash and ViacomCBS executives’ decision to fire him, which prompted Cannon to release a statement, which read, “Anyone who knows me knows that I have no hate in my heart nor malice intentions (sic). I do not condone hate speech nor the spread of hateful rhetoric. We are living in a time when it is more important than ever to promote unity and understanding…”
“In today’s conversation about anti-racism and social justice, I think we all – including myself – must continue educating one another and embrace uncomfortable conversations – it’s the only way we ALL get better.”
“Until then, I hold myself accountable for this moment and take full responsibility because My intentions are only to show that as a beautiful human species we have way more commonalities than differences, So let’s embrace those as well as each other. We All Family (sic)!”
Cannon, who admits he is “deeply saddened” by the decision to terminate his contract, now may have found a new home at Revolt TV – the company run by Diddy.
The rap mogul and entrepreneur took to Twitter as the news of Cannon’s drama hit the headlines on Wednesday morning and wrote, “@NickCannon come home to @REVOLTTV truly BLACK OWNED!!! We got your back and love you and what you have done for the culture. We are for our people first!!! For us! By US! Let’s go!!!”
Meanwhile, in his latest statement about his termination at ViacomCBS, Cannon claims, “The moment was stolen and highjacked to make an example of an outspoken black man.”
He goes on to reveal he will fight to take back “full ownership” of his “Wild ‘N Out” rap comedy series, because without his “leadership,” he’s convinced network bosses will “continue to misuse and destroy” the brand.

    Jul 16, 2020
AceShowbiz – Jana Kramer auditioned for a regular role on reality TV series “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”.
The actress-turned-country music star revealed on an episode of her podcast, “Whine Down with Jana Kramer and Michael Caussin”, that she has auditioned to join the cast the show.
In a chat with “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” stars Joe and Melissa Gorga about filming during the coronavirus, she revealed, “I was going to say something, but I wasn’t sure if I could say it.”
“We might have auditioned for a certain ‘Housewives’ thing, but we haven’t heard back yet.”
Despite the audition, Kramer said she’s a bit apprehensive of joining the cast, admitting, “I would be so afraid that we’d be eaten alive and spit out and then like canceled the next day.”
“You’ll be so cute and loved and real,” Melissa responded as the former “One Tree Hill” star confessed she auditioned because she and Mike “weren’t doing anything else” while in lockdown.
“We haven’t heard anything, so I’m like maybe we were just boring people,” Jana laughed.
Despite the pair living in Nashville, Tennessee, both Jana and Mike insisted they were happy to relocate if cast on the show, with Mike explaining they had lived in the area before they moved.
“Teddi (Mellencamp) is a friend, but I have not heard anything, so I’m sure it’s not going any further,” Jana confessed, despite saying the audition in May “went good,” “I get hated on a lot because I’m very sarcastic. I wouldn’t want to filter myself too much… I have a hard time with criticism and I don’t know how I could handle that.”

    Bravo

According to a new report, the production of upcoming season 13 of the hit Bravo reality series will begin in July as the safe filming procedure amid Coronavirus pandemic is being finalized.
    Jul 16, 2020
AceShowbiz – will start filming for new season soon. If a new report is to be believed, the production of season 13 of the Bravo reality series will begin in July despite Coronavirus pandemic.
A source claims to TheJasmineBrand that the details of how the production will proceed to keep everyone safe amidst the COVID-19 pandemic is still being finalized. The show previously filmed its season 12 reunion special virtually to avoid spreading the spread of the novel virus.
The new season of “RHOA” will not feature Eva Marcille, who announced her exit back in June. Eva, who joined the show for two seasons, explained at the time “I have a six-year-old daughter and two young boys still in diapers. They’re 24-hours a day, and there’s a lot of work to be done. So I decided to spend my time and energy focusing on my kids and my community, and not so much reality show business.”
Later, she provided more details in an official statement which read, “I appreciate the bond of friendship that I have made with several of my cast mates and the strong personal relationships I have with numerous executives and producers at the Bravo and Truly Entertainment companies.”
Eva went on saying, “I am thankful for the opportunity I was provided, however, after speaking with my family and representatives, I believe that what I hope to accomplish for the culture and community will be better served by focusing on other opportunities.”
Cast member NeNe Leakes was also rumored to be not returning for season 13 with Mo’Nique replacing her. However, NeNe’s team denied the rumors, “It is absolutely not true that Nene has been fired from ‘RHOA’. Furthermore, it was made abundantly clear prior that she will always be welcome on the series as long as she wants to be.”
The comedian also shut down the speculations. “No, my sweet babies. I am not doing ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’,” she explained. “In my humble opinion, Nene Leakes is irreplaceable. Nene Leakes is the ‘Housewives of Atlanta’ if you ask me, baby. That’s been 13 years so, no I am not joining the cast. I respect all of those sisters they do what they do.”
