    Jul 14, 2020
AceShowbiz – Tamera Mowry broke fans’ heart with her new announcement. The TV personality took to her Instagram account on Monday, July 13 to reveal that she’s leaving “The Real” while addressing the news of the discovery of Naya Rivera’s body at Lake Piru.
“For seven years, my home and heart has been at The Real. The friendships I’ve made there will last a lifetime, and the people that I’ve been blessed to interview have changed my life for the better,” Tamera wrote in her message, even though she explained in the caption that she actually “had NO intention to talk about this today, especially in light of the news of my dear friend Naya, but now some reports are coming out and I’d rather you hear it from me first.”
“I’m so proud of what all the ladies and I have accomplished there, including two well-deserved NAACP Image Awards and a Daytime Emmy,” she went on. “However, all good things must come to an end, and it’s with a bittersweet smile that I announce that I am moving on from The Real.”
Sending message to her “fellow hosts” Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love and Jeannie Mai, Tamera wrote, “I love you, I will miss you, and I will always be there for you. Thank you for teaching me, supporting me, and loving all for me. Sisters forever. I’ll be rooting for you, as I look forward to spending more time with my family, pursuing amazing new opportunities, and embarking on the next chapter of my life.”

Prior to this, Amanda Seales departed from the morning talk show. “My contract is up at ‘The Real’ and I didn’t renew it, because it doesn’t feel good to my soul to be at a place where I can not, speak to my people the way they need to be spoken to. And where the people that are speaking to me in despairing ways are not being handled,” she explained her exit on Tuesday, June 2.
She went on saying, “I’m not at a space where as a full black woman I can have my voice and my co-workers also have their voices and where the people at the top are not respecting the necessity for black voices to be at the top too.”

    Jul 14, 2020
AceShowbiz – Luke Evans is excited for filming to get underway on his forthcoming “Beauty and the Beast (2017)” spin-off series.
News first broke about the show, centred on Evans’ Gaston and Josh Gad’s Le Fou, earlier this year (20), with the six-part series to air on Disney+.
Speaking to Collider, the actor opened up on what fans can expect to see in the show, and confirmed that songs from Alan Menken, who composed “Beauty and the Beast”‘s score, would be included.
“We’re in fully fledged development,” he shared. “The second and third episodes have been written and we’ve heard some of the music by Alan Menken. We’re just so honoured to have him on board, writing the music, which is extraordinary, in itself.”
He added: “We feel so lucky to have this talented group of people creating a story about two much loved and much hated characters, but that’s the excitement.”
“There are a lot of questions about, where we will start? What we will tell? Who are these people? When you visit them, where will they be? So, it’s going to be a really fun experience. Me and Josh are literally vibrating with excitement to shoot it.”
The star also opened up about how he and Gad came up with the concept for the series, explaining: “Even when we were working on Beauty and the Beast… we were talking about what we could do and wanting to find another project. We’ve been searching, for the last several years, projects and scripts and ideas and concept.”
“In the back of our minds, we definitely had thoughts about revisiting Gaston and LeFou in a different story, obviously,” he added. “And when we pitched the idea to Disney+, they were very excited about it.”

    Jul 13, 2020
AceShowbiz – Zac Efron is currently living in Byron Bay to avoid coronavirus pandemic in the United States. If a new report is to be trusted, that seemingly gives Channel 10 an idea to get the star on the show as “The Greatest Showman” star is reportedly in talks to appear in the Australian version of “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!”.
According to New Idea, Channel 10 executives are hoping to have the “High School Musical” alum to star in the next season of the show, which is set to be filmed in Australia due to COVID-19 travel restriction to South Africa. It is said that Zac is offered $1.5 million to participate in the upcoming season.
“Channel 10 are saving a fortune filming in Australia [instead of South Africa] and can now afford some bigger names,” a source explains. “Zac is the No. 1 and most-wanted participant.”
While it remains to be seen whether Zac will accept the gig, the new season is scheduled to start production in January 2021.
This arrives after Zac sent fans into frenzy after his new Netflix travel series premiered Friday, July 10. The new series features Zac’s “journeys around the world with wellness expert Darin Olien in search of healthy, sustainable ways to live.” However, it wasn’t just the beautiful locations that made fans swoon.

“Me: I’m straight and married. Zac Efron: Oh hi there. Me: Well, I’m not that straight or married,” another user said. Echoing the sentiment, a person tweeted, “I’d like Zac Efron’s parents’ phone number so I can just leave a 3 minute voicemail of me applauding.”

  • 'The Office' Actor Leslie David Baker Turns to Kickstarter for 'Uncle Stan' Spin-Off

    WENN

‘Uncle Stan: Coming Out of Retirement’ will present Dunder Mifflin employee Stanley Hudson getting a call from his nephew, Lucky, who runs a motorcycle and flower shop that belonged to his late wife.
    Jul 13, 2020
AceShowbiz – Leslie David Baker has taken to crowdfunding website Kickstarter to get his idea for a reboot of “The Office” off the ground.
The actor, who portrayed beloved character and Dunder Mifflin employee Stanley Hudson for nine seasons of the U.S. version of the show, has launched the campaign to fund his proposed show, “Uncle Stan: Coming Out of Retirement”.
Picked as one of Kickstarter’s Projects We Love, the series would see Baker’s character getting a call from his favourite nephew, Lucky, a recent widower with two children who runs a motorcycle and flower shop that belonged to his late wife.
When Lucky calls up his uncle for guidance and support, “Uncle Stan is coming out of retirement, because what do you do after you retire? You go somewhere else and find something else to get tired of.”
Baker told Entertainment Tonight: “And in this case, it’ll be his favourite nephew and his great-niece and nephew, and chaos ensues.”
Explaining his reasoning for seeking fans’ help to launch the project, he added: “After having gone and done a lot of personal appearances at sporting events and Comic-Cons, I kept getting the question of, ‘What happened to Stanley after his retirement? Where is he, what’s going on with him?’ ”
“This character was and is so beloved that people wanted to know what is going on with him,” he shared. “And after several years, after his retirement, I said, ‘You know what? There is a life for this character after ‘The Office’.”
“So let’s explore that, let’s look at it and see what he’s doing. We wanna know what his hopes, wishes, dreams, ambitions were.”
The American version of Ricky Gervais’ workplace TV comedy, which aired from 2005 to 2013, was a big hit, launching the careers of several stars including John Krasinski, Steve Carell, Rainn Wilson, Jenna Fischer, and Mindy Kaling, among others.
