    Twitter

Matt Reeves, the director of the upcoming Caped Crusader movie, has signed a deal and teamed up with ‘Boardwalk Empire’ creator to explore Gotham in a new series for the HBO streaming site.
    Jul 11, 2020
AceShowbiz – Matt Reeves will bring his “The Batman” to life on the small screen after signing a new television series deal.
The director of the much-anticipated new Caped Crusader film, starring Robert Pattinson, is developing a TV companion show, which has been picked up by bosses at new streaming service HBO Max.
“This is an amazing opportunity, not only to expand the vision of the world I am creating in the film, but to explore it in the kind of depth and detail that only a longform format can afford,” Reeves tells Deadline, revealing he’ll be working alongside writer Terence Winter, “who has written so insightfully and powerfully about worlds of crime and corruption.”
Winter created hit period drama “Boardwalk Empire”.
It is unclear whether Pattinson will appear as the Caped Crusader on the TV show as the series may centre around various characters in the Batman story.
Filming on Reeves’ “The Batman” movie recently resumed in the U.K. following the coronavirus shutdown. It’s due for release in late 2021.

  • '90 Day Fiance': Larissa Dos Santos Lima Says She Misses Being in Relationship With Ex Eric Nichols

    WENN

The TLC personality admits that she’s ‘hopeful’ about their date, adding that she’s been feeling lonely when she sees Eric, with whom she broke up in September 2019 after dating for eight months.
    Jul 11, 2020
AceShowbiz – Is Larissa Dos Santos Lima trying to get back together with her ex-boyfriend Eric Nichols? In a video from Sunday, July 12 episode of “90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?” that is obtained by Entertainment Tonight, Larissa can be seen meeting up with Eric at a restaurant, calling it a “date.”
The TLC personality admits that she’s “hopeful” about their date. She also says that she’s been feeling lonely when she sees him. “I’m very hopeful that he will like me,” Larissa said in a confessional. Additionally, Larissa tells TLC cameras that she cares the most for Eric, much more than she ever felt for ex-husband Colt Johnson.
“I was always in love with Eric when we were dating, but I decided to break it up with him because of all the kind of relationship problems and I thought that he don’t admire me anymore. But I miss being in relationship with him,” she opens up about Eric, with whom she broke up in September 2019 after dating for eight months. “Eric isn’t perfect, but he always tried to help me out when we were together. And he doesn’t judge me for anything that I did in my life.”
This arrives after Larissa’s latest interview in which she compared Colt and Eric. “Between Eric and Colt, I pick Eric, of course,” she said in June. “Well, Eric is a Ferrari, and Colt is a Honda from 1980.”
The Brazilian star went on to say, “Eric and I, we are very complicated because we have kind of the same personality. We always make up, then break up, so it’s very complicated. … Sometimes I just can’t deal with him, he can’t deal with him, and we just blow [up].”
She then noted it was different from her relationship with Colt, to whom she married in June 2018 before getting divorced in May 2019. “But different from Colt in that it’s not that fight that leads to arrests or something bad, you know? This is the good thing about Eric and I … we never end up in very bad situations. But yes, we have arguments and we have a lot of drama.”

  • 'RHONY': Luann de Lesseps Kicks Out 'Worthless' Sonja Morgan of Her Cabaret Show

    Instagram

It starts after Sonja reveals at Dorinda Medley’s Blue Stone Manor that she is only being paid $225 to be a part of Luann’s cabaret, prompting others to call Luann ‘mean.’
    Jul 11, 2020
AceShowbiz – “The Real Housewives of New York City” returned with a new episode on Thursday, July 9. The new outing featured the women going back in the Berkshires before a drama erupted between cast members Luann de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan.
It started after Sonja revealed at Dorinda Medley’s Blue Stone Manor that she was only being paid $225 to be a part of Luann’s cabaret. Prior to the revelation, Luann told the other Housewives, “Sonja and I are going to do a show together!”
Ramona Singer then asked if she would pay Sonja, who quickly interjected, “No! She never pays me. My girl Lu, it’s not that I don’t have a good time doing any kind of performance with her, but I have a family to support, people who depend on me, other than Lu.” Luann, however, insisted that she wanted to bring Sonja into her Cabaret show because “I love her.”
The other ladies still thought that Lu should compensate Sonja with Ramona suggesting, “Pay her $10,000 or $5,000.” When Sonja accused Lu of exploiting her, Lu was livid and told her, “Exploit you? I don’t need you. Go f**k yourself. I do pay her!”
When Sonja revealed that she only got $225, Ramona asked in disbelief, “You only pay her $200?” Luann then explained during her confessional interview that it was because “I have major Broadway talent in my shows. I am not going to pay Sonja Morgan more to take off her dress to be in my show.”
That prompted others to come at Luann as they called her “mean” and said that she wasn’t “valuing” Sonja. “What do you mean I don’t value her? Of course, I do,” Luann disagreed. Sonja then responded, “You give me $225 – that doesn’t even cover my hair and makeup.”
Upon hearing that, Luann decided that she no longer needed “worthless” Sonja in her show and kicked her out. “I have my cabaret show that’s very huge and guess what, you’re not a part of it. I tried to include you and you made me feel bad about it. You’re done. I don’t want you in my show. …. You b***h,” she told Sonja, who later replied, “I just said I can’t do it for free,” before breaking down in tears.

  • 'The Crown' Creator Announces Plan for Season 6

    Netflix

The showrunner Peter Morgan changes his mind about ending the royal series after the upcoming fifth season and now plans to bring back the show for another season.
    Jul 10, 2020
AceShowbiz – “The Crown” will have a surprise sixth season, its creator Peter Morgan confirmed on Thursday (09Jul20).
The announcement came as a shock as Morgan had previously scrapped his original plan to do six seasons and to bring the hit show to a close after a fifth season starring Imelda Staunton as Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II as the Queen as she enters her senior years.
In a statement posted on Netflix U.K.’s Twitter account, he said, “As we started to discuss the storylines for Series 5, it soon became clear that in order to do justice to the richness and complexity of the story we should go back to the original plan and do six seasons.”
Netflix chiefs stated that there will be one more season, the fourth stars Olivia Colman as the monarch in middle-age, before she hands over to Staunton for the final two series. Claire Foy played the Queen in the first two series.
Morgan had previously said the end of season five would be the “perfect place” to stop. The fourth series will debut on Netflix this autumn or winter.
