      AceShowbiz – Longtime “Jersey Shore” regular Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi quit the MTV series after a wedding day showdown with castmate Angelina Pivarnick.
      The cringeworthy moment appeared on the “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” season finale, which aired in America on Thursday (June 18), after Snooki, JWoww and Deena Cortese made a series of jokes at the bride’s expense during a speech.
      Angelina made it clear she was not happy with some of things the trio said.
      In a straight-to-camera confessional, she said, “It’s the wrong f**king place. It’s the wrong time. You don’t do this at somebody’s wedding.”
      Snooki appears to have made the decision to exit the reality show at the wedding after an encounter with Pivarnick, telling Deena, “I’m quitting, I think. I think this is it. This is not fun.”
      In her confessional, Snooki said, “The fact that it has to end like this, for me, it really sucks.”
      Snooki announced she was leaving the show in December (19) on her “It’s Happening with Snooki & Joey” podcast, telling “Jersey Shore” fans, “I love you so much, and don’t hate me for my decision… I am retiring from ‘Jersey Shore’. I am not coming back to ‘Jersey Shore’ for season four if there is one.”
      “The main reason is really… I just can’t do it any more. Literally, leaving my kids to film it is really, really hard on me. I try and quit every single day. I quit every time we film because I just hate being away from the kids. I don’t like partying three days in a row. It’s just not my life any more. I want to be home with the kids. I don’t mind here and there going to a dinner or whatever, but it’s just really hard for me to leave the kids and film the show.”

      Snooki also explained the show isn’t as much fun as it used to be, revealing it has become “so serious.”
      “I don’t want that and I’m not leaving my kids days on end to film this show when that’s the result of it…,” she added. “I don’t like the person I’m being portrayed as. This is getting a little too much. At 32 years old and with three kids, if I’m doing a reality show I just want it to be fun and light-hearted and lately it’s not like that and the show is getting so dramatic.”

      The daughter of Diana Ross has been confirmed to executive produce and lend her voice to the title character for the upcoming adult animated show ‘Jodie’.

      AceShowbiz – Tracee Ellis Ross has been tapped to executive produce and voice the title character in Comedy Central’s latest adult animated series “Jodie”.
      The 47-year-old “Mixed-ish” actress will front the spin-off of the MTV cult classic “Daria”, which will follow Daria’s pal Jodie Landon as she attempts to navigate post-college life.
      According to Deadline, “Jodie” will premiere alongside Comedy Central’s flagship series “South Park” as the network attempts to ramp up its adult animated content.
      The show will “satirise workplace culture, Gen Z struggles, the artifice of social media and more” as Jodie takes on her first job in the adult world, and will be led by themes of empowerment along gender and racial lines, shining a light on the issues young black women face today.
      Jodie is the brainchild of writer Grace Edwards, who has lent her talents to shows such as Netflix’s “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”, Comedy Central’s “Inside Amy Schumer”, and HBO’s “Insecure”.
      A premiere date has yet to be announced.

      The two frenemies continue their funny back-and-forth in the Thursday episode before the host is baffled when he sees his wife Molly slipping out of the guest room in a robe.

      AceShowbiz – Jimmy Kimmel is taking a break from TV during this summer. The late night TV host made the announcement in the Thursday, June 18 episode of his show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, saying that Friday would mark the beginning of his summer break.
      “Tonight is my last new show of the summer. I’m taking the summer off to spend even more time with my family. I’ve been doing this job for almost 18 years, I’ve done 3,130 shows and there’s nothing wrong my family is healthy. I’m healthy. I just need a couple of months off,” Jimmy shared.
      “While I’m gone, a cavalcade of capable people will be filling in for me,” the 52-year-old TV personality added. That was when his frenemy Matt Damon surprisingly emerged from a bedroom in Kimmel’s house wearing a robe and a mask, drink in hand.
      Not being happy with the fact that Jimmy’s taking time off, “The Martian” actor said, “What am I gonna do? I haven’t been on (the show). I’ve been back here three months waiting to get on,” referring to their long-running gag of Matt waiting to get onto “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” every night.
      They continued their funny back-and-forth before Jimmy was baffled when he saw his wife Molly slipping out of the guest room in a robe. “Son of a b***h, you did it again,” Jimmy yelled at Matt.

      It remains to be seen how Jimmy is going to spend his break but he’s already has some gigs lined up when he’s back from his summer break. Recently, he was announced to be the host of the 2020 Emmy Awards in September.
      “I don’t know where we will do this or how we will do this or even why we are doing this, but we are doing it and I am hosting it,” Jimmy said in a statement considering the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to serve as the host, the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” host is tapped to be an executive producer.

      AceShowbiz – Actress Shay Mitchell is “grateful” she reconnected with her “Pretty Little Liars” cast members during a recent virtual reunion.
      The new mum reunited with Troian Bellisario, Sasha Pieterse, Lucy Hale and Ashley Benson via the conferencing platform Zoom, as part of a fundraiser to aid the coronavirus relief effort.
      “I’m so grateful to connect with them,” Mitchell tells Entertainment Tonight. “And truly who knows, maybe if it wasn’t over a virtual reunion we may not have been able to get together at the same time. I’m truly grateful we were able to connect even if it was not in person. It was so nice to be able to catch up.”
      Mitchell adds that prior to the broadcast, she was able to chat privately with her former co-stars.
      “I think we had about an hour prior to going live where we got to talk one another, which was really nice. It was great,” she continued. “I do see Troian quite often, so it’s always nice, but for other people I don’t see it was really, really special to be able to connect again.”
      The 33-year-old also shared her excitement over news that Pieterse is expecting her first child with her husband, Hudson Sheaffer.
      “Oh gosh, I’m so excited. I’m so excited for her,” Mitchell gushed. “We were able to say our congrats and ask her how it’s been. I’m just so excited. She’s going to be so wonderful, both her and her husband. Obviously I’m here if she needs anything; a diaper bag, I’ll send her mine. This is the most exciting time, you know? I’m so happy for her.”
      Mitchell gave birth to daughter Atlas in October (19).

      AceShowbiz – Tamra Judge may have left “The Real Housewives of Orange County”, but it seems like she’s not entirely ready to depart from the franchise. During her appearance in the Thursday, June 18 episode of “Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef” podcast, the 52-year-old revealed that she wanted to join “The Real Housewives of New York City”.
      “I think I’d want to go to the ‘Real Housewives of New York City’,” she shared. “Because [Leah McSweeney] is on there now and I feel like we could have a lot of fun. I told [Leah], ‘I am obsessed with you,’ ” Tamra added, referring to the fashion designer and founder of the Married to the Mob streetwear brand who joined “RHONY” for season 12.
      Additionally, Tamra noted that “RHONY”, which longtime stars include Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer and Dorinda Medley, needed some new faces. ” ‘NYC’ needs a shakeup, that’s why I stopped watching and that’s why I was so happy when they brought Leah in. I think it needs a little bit of a change in cast, it’s time,” she suggested.
      Bravo might want to consider having Tamra on “RHONY” following Tinsley Mortimer’s departure from the show after four seasons. “Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all my fans and friends who supported me and are happy for my fairy tale ending,” Tinsley explained. “Without #RHONY, I would never have met my prince charming, Scott.       As for Tamra, she announced her exit from “RHOC” back in January. “It’s been a wild 12 years . But it’s time for me to move on. Im sad to go but I’m very excited about my future,” Tamra wrote in an Instagram post, referring to her upcoming television show with her fellow “RHOC” alum Vicki Gunvalson. “It’s definitely a reality show, but it’s more about Vicki and I traveling and meeting up with other women in the world,” she said of the show back in May.

      The production on the CBS soap opera series comes to a halt in order to modify Covid-19 testing to really ensure the safety of the crew and cast members.

      AceShowbiz – Production on CBS soap opera series “The Bold and the Beautiful” has been delayed to “better accommodate the large volume of testing needed” amid the Covid-19 crisis.
      The popular show, starring Katherine Kelly Lang, Scott Clifton, and Don Diamont, resumed filming at Television City Studios in Los Angeles on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, making it one of the first shows to return to set following the coronavirus outbreak.
      However, on Wednesday it was announced work on the series had once again been paused to modify testing procedures, to ensure the safety of cast and crew.
      “We have paused very briefly to modify our testing protocol to better accommodate the large volume of testing needed,” a spokesperson told Variety in a statement.
      “Safety remains our top priority as we continue to move forward with the production of the Bold and the Beautiful. B&B filmed with cast and crew today and it was a successful first day back at work.”
      Production for “The Bold and the Beautiful” is now scheduled to resume on June 23, 2020.

      Celebrity Game Face will feature “outrageous at-home challenges” and feature Hart and his wife Eniko, as well as Terry and Rebecca Crews, Joel and Sarah McHale, and Sarah Hyland and her fiance Wells Adams.
      The special, which is being developed by bosses at E!, will feature physical challenges that those watching at home can also join in. The evening will conclude with the couples being awarded money for the charity of their choice with the winning pair taking home a gold trophy.
      The online venture is one of many to feature Hart since the coronavirus lockdown began, including the Feeding America Comedy Festival and At-Home Variety Show.
      The event will air on July 6, 2020 from 10 P.M. ET on E!.

      AceShowbiz – Rachel Lindsay may be the first black people to lead a season of “The Bachelorette”. However, that doesn’t mean she escaped a “nasty” racist experience while appearing on the show. In a recent interview on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen”, Rachel revealed that she got “a lot of nasty messages trolling” from the audience.”
      “I definitely experienced it when it came to picking the men. My husband [Bryan Abasolo] is Colombian so I got a lot of racism towards the fact that we were in an interracial relationship,” the 35-year-old lawyer explained.
      She also addressed one racist contestant, Lee Garrett, who was later removed from her season two weeks into production. “I did have a racist contestant on my season,” Rachel said. “They said they hadn’t done a good job of vetting out that he was racist or had done racist things in the past — but I would hope in the future it would never happen again. They received a lot of heat from that.”
      “One of the things that I’m fighting for with Matt James as the first Black Bachelor is for them to do a better job of vetting contestants. You need a person of color in the decision room so that doesn’t happen to them,” the Texas native said of Matt, who was previously announced to be the next leading man of “The Bachelor”.
      While the franchise made a history by appointing a black male to be the next Bachelor, Rachel admitted that she couldn’t help but question the timing. “It does seem like a reaction to what’s happening in our country. Did a man have to die in such a public way on a national stage for you to say ‘now is the time to have a Black Bachelor?’ ” she asked, referring to George Floyd, who was murdered by a Minneapolis cop.
      “That’s what I hate — it’s taking away from this moment. What I wanted was some acknowledgement and some recognition that they’ve been wrong in part of the problem and that they’re going to vow to take the necessary changes to bring diversity internally and to more contestants of color on the show,” she continued.

      Of producers and ABC, Rachel said, “They told me that they heard me. And that they are wanting to do more and make changes. And they actually did release a statement after they announced [Matt James], and that they’re vowing to make changes internally and to have more contestants of color.”
