      AceShowbiz – Victoria Larson is one of the most outstanding contestants in Matt James’ season of “The Bachelor”, but she may not be known for a good thing. Viewers appear to see her as a villain of the season as many label her a bully. Addressing the matter, Victoria took to her Instagram Story to get candid about her ups and downs with other contestants on the show.
      “I think in my effort to make my opinions heard it may have been perceived as bullying by some, and I feel bad if my words or actions offended anyone,” the 28-year-old wrote in a now-deleted post. “I take time each day to reflect and learn the lesson.”
      She went on saying that she learned from her experience on the ABC dating competition show. “I think it’s important to learn from the past, live in the present, and to always move forward with a positive attitude. We learn more each day about social media and how it impacts us. I just want to encourage us all to be more positive and supportive,” she added.

      The self-proclaimed “queen” also revealed that she apologized “privately” to fellow cast members with whom she was feuding on the show, claiming that she viewed “all women as queens.” She then concluded her message, “Lastly, of course name calling is never OK, but I hold myself accountable and can just do better next time. I cannot change the past. It truly was not malicious and I am so sorry. I love each girl I met on my journey!”
      Prior to this, a picture of Victoria’s mugshot when she was arrested for shoplifting surfaced online. It was reported that back in 2012, she was caught stealing $250 worth of items from a Tallahassee Publix. In a CCTV video, she was seen placing 25 items, from grocery food to cosmetics, into a reusable shopping bag inside her shopping cart. However, she didn’t pay for those items when using the self check-out.
      The California native was allegedly brought back inside not long after she exited the store and was immediately detained until police arrived on the scene. She was booked into and stayed in Leon County Jail for two days before she was released after posting $1,000 bail.
      Victoria reportedly pleaded no contest in court to charges of petit theft, earning her six months of probation. She also was required to pay hundreds of dollars in fees and attend theft awareness classes.

      AceShowbiz – The actress who played Daenerys Targaryen in the original “Game of Thrones” pilot has revealed the shoot was a nightmare and she still wishes she’d turned down the role.
      Tamzin Merchant, who was cast as the Mother of Dragons for the flop 2009 pilot before Emilia Clarke landed the role, has revealed she had an inkling the show was not for her and regrets not following her instinct.
      “Shooting that pilot was a really great lesson,” she tells EW.com. “It was an affirmation about listening to my instincts and following them, because I tried to back out of that situation and, during the contract process, I did back out. I was talked back into it by some persuasive people.”

      “The Tudors” star Merchant, who was 21 at the time, has since appeared in “Salem”, “Supergirl”, and “Carnival Row”, and she’s just about to launch her career as a writer with young adult fantasy novel “The Hatmakers”.
      She reveals the scene that really left her scarred for life was Daenerys’ wedding night, which was toned down for the actual show.
      “I didn’t have any training as an actor, I only have my instincts,” Merchant adds. “And what excites me and what drives me is a compelling story and a compelling character. So for me, Game of Thrones was never that. I think it’s a testament to Emilia Clarke for making that role iconic. She was obviously excited to tell that story, and she was epic and excellent. But for me, it wasn’t in my heart to tell it.”

      AceShowbiz – The curtain is about to close! On Thursday, January 28, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” finally unveiled the first look at its 20th and final season which sees the famous clan getting emotional ahead of the end of the show.
      In the trailer, Kim Kardashian can be seen telling some family members that she caught sister Kourtney Kardashian and her ex Scott Disick sleeping together on the couch. “They’re definitely made for each other,” Kendall Jenner says of the former couple, who shares three children together. “Like, they’re supposed to be together.”
      Meanwhile, Khloe Kardashian is having a discussion with Tristan Thompson as she wants to have another kid together. Elsewhere in the trailer, the Kardashian-Jenners are gathering for some tearful moment, seemingly to celebrate the final season of their long-running reality TV series.
      “I’m just really blessed that we have this opportunity to even do this. We have a lot of memories,” Kylie Jenner says of doing the show for 14 years. “I just want you to know that I really appreciate you guys–everyone of you,” Kim shares while trying to hold back her tears. Before the end of the trailer, Kris Jenner wonders, “Did we make the right decision by walking away?”

      “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” will air its 20th and final season this March. Kim announced the matter in an Instagram post in September 2020. “It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” Kim wrote at the time. “After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children. We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way.”

      AceShowbiz – British actors Tom Sturridge and Gwendoline Christie are helping to take popular DC Comics book “The Sandman” to TV for a new series.
      Sturridge will tackle the lead role of Morpheus, also known as Dream, with Christie playing Lucifer.
      The project will reunite Christie with fellow “Game of Thrones” castmember Charles Dance, who has been tapped as blackmailer and magician Roderick Burgess, while “Logan” ‘s Boyd Holbrook will play The Corinthian.
      Vivienne Acheampong, Asim Chaudhry, and Sanjeev Bhaskar are also part of the line-up for the Netflix series, which follows the adventures of Morpheus, who rules over the world of dreams.
      “The Sandman” creator Neil Gaiman co-wrote the show with filmmaker and “The Dark Knight” trilogy screenwriter David S. Goyer and “Wonder Woman” ‘s Allan Heinberg. The trio will also serve as executive producers, with Heinberg taking on the additional role of showrunner.

      In a statement, Gaiman shared, “For the last thirty-three years, the Sandman characters have breathed and walked around and talked in my head. I’m unbelievably happy that now, finally, they get to step out of my head and into reality.”

      “The Sandman” series was originally given the greenlight by Netflix officials in 2019, three years after “The Dark Knight Rises” star Joseph Gordon-Levitt exited a planned film adaptation, which he co-wrote with Goyer, due to creative differences.
      The TV news emerges as bosses at the Amazon-owned Audible platform have ordered two more series of “The Sandman” audio dramas following the success of the first instalments last summer (20).
      Gaiman narrated the series, with a voice cast including James McAvoy, Michael Sheen, Andy Serkis, and Kat Dennings.
      It’s unclear if any of the stars will be returning for “The Sandman: Act II” and “The Sandman: Act III”, which Gaiman will again narrate and co-executive produce, reports Variety.

      AceShowbiz – Rosario Dawson put herself “in danger” so many times on the “Go-Big Show” – but still had the “most incredible” experience of her life.
      The actress is a judge, alongside Snoop Dogg and singer Jennifer Nettles, on the outrageous new TV contest, which pits daredevils against each other – and she’s often called upon to take part in their risky acts.
      In one show, she narrowly avoided an avalanche of arrows that were shot in her direction, screaming in fear as she risked serious injury.
      “He (competitor) shot an arrow that started a triggering of all the other arrows which I walked by…,” she explains. “There’s so many moments in this show that I had to keep reminding myself that I guess I signed an insurance waiver (release) at some point because they had me in danger so many times.”

      And she admitted she has been shocked by some of the show’s scary scenarios.
      “It kept happening after the fact, where I’d realise, ‘Oh, that’s what I just signed up for. I might have needed that information a little bit more ahead’,” she groaned. “But I have to say I had the most incredible experience I’ve ever had in my life.”
      “What Go Big means for different people is just absolutely extraordinary. There’s this guy, Andrew, who swallowed a sword and then had me levitate off of his face. And another guy… this was unbelievable, it brought Snoop to his knees… He’s a strongman and he had both me and Jennifer on this huge pole that he swung. He was rotating it, we were swinging in the air. It brought me to tears, it was so amazing. We were flying.”
      The “Go-Big Show” debuted in America earlier this month (Jan21).

      AceShowbiz – “The Walking Dead: World Beyond” has reacted to criticism it has been receiving regarding the inclusion of a gay couple on the spin-off series of “The Walking Dead”. Making use of the franchise’s official Twitter account, “The Walking Dead” shared a strong message to the naysayers.
      “Hi, hello. If LGBTQ+ characters on television (or anywhere) make you uncomfortable or angry, please unfollow us,” the account wrote on Monday, January 25. “While we also encourage you to look within and be more accepting, know that there is no place in our fandom for hateful discrimination or willful ignorance. Thank you.”

      ‘The Walking Dead’ responded to homophobe criticism.

      Despite the tweet, some viewers still reacted negatively to the gay storyline. “It doesn’t bother me, but the amount of them that are on the show (s) is unrealistic,” one viewer noted in a reply. Another critic argued, “Its not about the lgbtq characters, its how you introduce them in the series. Its like you forcing them in your series just to bring lbgt supporters. I mean i love Aaron character, that was a good introduction tbh.”
      Someone else added, “Don’t care about it at all. I care about good story lines. If the lgbt characters story feels contrived then it’s a token gesture and not organic. Just be authentic is all im asking for.” Echoing the sentiment, another person wrote, “Series was worth watching while the story was the most important aspect of it… now is identity politics and belittling fans No wonder viwership is low, keep using the same formula and go broke.”
      Billed as a teen-centric variation on “The Walking Dead”, “World Beyond” features a gay couple, former security officer Felix Carlucci (Nico Tortorella) and his boyfriend Will Campbell (Jelani Alladin). Of his character’s love story on the show, Jelani said in the January 25 episode of “Talk Dead to Me” podcast, “It was just two men who happened to be in love. There was no need to explain anything further. I love that ‘The Walking Dead’ is putting that forward: that LGBTQ relationships are nothing different than any other kind of relationship.”

      AceShowbiz – Sarah Trott did not date anyone during her appearance on “The Bachelor”. Having been caught in romance rumors with Ben Dorman a.k.a. DJ Bijou after their “steamy pictures” surfaced online, the ex-contestant in Matt James’ season insists that she was single during the filming of the hit dating show.
      “Sarah unequivocally did not have a boyfriend before, during or after her appearance on ‘The Bachelor’,” a representative for the 24-year-old reality star said in a statement to the press. “When she took a trip to Cabo in August 2020, she did so with a group of friends, Ben Dorman being one of them.”
      “Ben and Sarah had a fun trip with their mutual friends, and while there may have been some intimate moments between them, it did not lead to a relationship,” the rep added in the statement. “Sarah went on the trip to Cabo single and came back single, still on her journey to find love, which is why she agreed to go on ‘The Bachelor’ a month or so later.”

      “Any photographs or text messages mentioned are taken out of context and a misrepresentation of the circumstances,” her representative further detailed. “Ultimately, Sarah left ‘The Bachelor due the deteriorating health of her father and the awful treatment she received from the other cast members, not due to a purported relationship with Ben.”
      The clarifying statement came after “steamy pictures” of Sarah and Ben during their vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico circulated online. In one of some photos obtained by The Sun, the broadcast journalist was seen kissing the tattooed DJ as he placed his hand on her thigh.
      Sarah left “The Bachelor” after having tense arguments with other contestants. They were displeased by her action of crashing a group date between Matt and Katie Thurston due to her issue with “jealousy.” Although she had apologized for it, they didn’t seem to accept her apology easily.
      Hours after she left the show, Sarah appeared to throw shade at her former fellow contestant, Victoria Larson. Making use of Instagram on Monday, January 18, she posted a note that read, “Real queens fix each other’s crowns.” She might have referred the quote to Victoria who has dubbed herself “the Queen.”

      The upcoming show – which is based on The Rock’s life and sees Joseph Lee Anderson playing Rocky Johnson – is largely lighthearted while still referencing some of his early struggles during his formative years.
      Speaking during NBC’s TCA press tour on Tuesday (26Jan21), he said, “I thought, well, let’s not take the easy route. But it was incredibly complicated and it was incredibly tough… Growing up, and you know we specifically went with these timelines in my life that were very defining times at 10 years old, 15 and 18… there’s a lot of things in between those years that took place…”
      “But it was complicated and the relationship that I had with my dad was incredibly complicated – that was fuelled by tough love.”

      Dwayne noted how his dad was “kicked out of his house at 13,” which “shaped the man” who raised him.
      “And in that complication came an extraordinary life that was full of travel,” he continued. “I lived in 13 different states by the time I was 13 years old, also lived in New Zealand.”
      The 48-year-old former WWE superstar – who followed his father’s footsteps into the wrestling business before becoming a Hollywood star – also heaped praise on Anderson’s portrayal of Rocky in the sitcom.
      “My dad died one year ago this month last year, he died suddenly, and he’s obviously featured throughout the show and Joseph, he did a tremendous job playing my dad,” he smiled.Dwayne’s comments about the show came as it was revealed that Rosario Dawson and Randall Park have been cast in the programme. Rosario will play General Monica Jackson, who will help Johnson in his bid to become U.S. president while Park will star as himself.
