    Dec 3, 2020
AceShowbiz – “The Masked Singer” season 4 semi-finals arrived on Wednesday, December 2. The special 2-hour episode featured the Super Six, Popcorn, Sun, Crocodile, Seahorse, Jellyfish and Mushroom, with only three of them advancing to the finals. In the new outing, guest judge Craig Robinson joined panelists Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger.
Kicking things off was a joint performance of A-Ha’s “Take on Me” by the semi-finalists. Later, the Seahorse took the stage to sing “That’s What I Like” by Bruno Mars, while she had the “Men in Black” in her clue. Among the guesses were Tori Kelly, Kesha (Ke$ha) and Sia Furler.
Competing against the Seahorse was the Crocodile, who sang “I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing” by Aerosmith. Robin was impressed by the performance, calling it his best performance. As for his additional clue, he said he was connected to Craig. The panelists thought the Crocodile might be AJ McLean, Nick Lachey or Nick Carter. The Crocodile was announced as the winner of the face-off, meaning that the Seahorse was eliminated. However, viewers had to wait until the end of the night to find out her identity.
Following it up was the Mushroom. He opted to sing “Valerie” by Amy Winehouse, adding that he was connected to Robin. “I would love mixing it up with you again, because this is definitely not the first time we’ve connected,” he shared. The panelists threw names such as Jaden Smith, Jordan Fisher, Leslie Odom Jr. and Keegan-Michael Key as the guesses.
The Jellyfish then hit the stage to sing “Stay” by Rihanna in hopes to win over the Mushroom. The Sun came out as the winner of the face off.

Nicole followed her as she switched her guess from Tina Turner to Taylor Dayne. Robin and Ken stuck with Tina, while Craig named Mary Wilson. The Popcorn was revealed as Taylor Dayne!
Later, it was time to reveal the identity of the Jellyfish. Prior to that, the panelists named their final guesses. Robin previously named Addison Rey but then changed to Gabby Douglas. Dec 2, 2020
AceShowbiz – Rita Ora has pulled out of an appearance on top-rated U.K. chat programme “The Jonathan Ross Show” after she was slammed for hosting an illegal 30th birthday party during lockdown.
The singer, whose mother is a frontline health worker, has apologised for inviting friends to a party at Casa Cruz in London on Saturday (28Nov20) – four days before London’s lockdown was lifted, and she has since paid a hefty fine to police for breaking the rules.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police told MailOnline, “Police were called at 21:10hrs on Saturday, 28 November to reports of a potential breach of Covid regulations at a commercial premises in Clarendon Road, W11. In her apology, Rita called her actions a “serious and inexcusable error of judgment.”
She wrote, “It was a spur of the moment decision made with the misguided view that we were coming out of lockdown and this would be OK… I’m deeply sorry for breaking the rules and in turn understand that this puts people at risk. This was a serious and inexcusable error of judgement. Given the restrictions, I realise how irresponsible these actions were and I take full responsibility.”
“I feel particularly embarrassed knowing first-hand how hard people have worked to combat this terrible illness and being fully aware of the sacrifices that people and businesses have made to help keep us all safe. Even though this won’t make it right, I want to sincerely apologise.”
Ora was reportedly set to appear on Ross’ weekly show before Christmas.

Helena Bonham Carter Reminds Fans 'The Crown' Is 'Dramatized' Amid Backlash Against Prince Charles

    Netflix/WENN

The actress who plays Princess Margaret agrees that the Netflix royal drama series is just a fiction based around some real events amid concerns that it could damage the future king’s reputation.

    Dec 1, 2020
AceShowbiz – Helena Bonham Carter is keen for “The Crown” to stress the show is”not a drama-doc” and events have been “dramatized.”
U.K. Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden hit headlines over the weekend (28-29Nov20) with his revelation that he’s planning to write to Netflix to ask them to put a warning on the show, about Britain’s Royal Family, for viewers to make it clear that it’s dramatised. And now Helena – who formerly starred as Princess Margaret in the programme – has told the New York Post’s Page Six that she agrees that it’s important to make a distinction between “our version” and the “real version.”
“It is dramatised. I do feel very strongly, because I think we have a moral responsibility to say, ‘Hang on guys, this is not… it’s not a drama-doc, we’re making a drama.’ So they are two different entities,” she said.

Princess Diana’s brother Earl Spencer is among the other big names to have called for warnings at the start of “The Crown” as season four depicts his late sister’s relationship with her former husband Prince Charles.
“I think it would help The Crown an enormous amount if, at the beginning of each episode, it stated that, ‘This isn’t true but it is based around some real events,’ ” Spencer told ITV. “I worry people do think that this is gospel and that’s unfair.”
The depiction of Charles in the programme, played by Josh O’ Connor, has apparently led to concerns that it could permanently damage the reputation of the future king.

Garcelle Beauvais Details COVID-19 Scare on 'RHOBH' Production

    Instagram

The cast member of the long-running Bravo reality TV star has opened up in a new interview about days leading up to the filming shut down of season 11 of the reality TV show.

    Dec 1, 2020
AceShowbiz – Earlier this month, it was reported that Bravo halted the production of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” season 11 due to COVID-19 concern. Now, cast member Garcelle Beauvais has opened up in a new interview about days leading up to the filming shut down.
“We shot for Housewives on Tuesday, Tuesday night we got home and found out that a few people in our crew tested positive for COVID,” Garcelle shares in a preview, which is obtained by Entertainment Tonight, for an upcoming episode of “The Real”. Following the announcement, she adds that her castmates all have to quarantine for 14 days. Her 13-year-old twin sons, Jaid and Jax, are temporarily staying with their father Mike Nilon.
Saying that the cast and crew always “do all the protocols,” Garcelle continues, “We get tested at least three times a week. We get tested before we shoot. You know, my kids get tested, I get tested, anybody who’s in my household, and you know, we did the right things, but at the same time, it just shows you that this virus — you can touch something, you can… you know, it’s not necessarily just from people.”
The Bravo personality, who is also one of the co-host on “The Real”, adds, “Hopefully everybody will be healthy, and we’re down for a few weeks, but then we’ll be back to work. But luckily for me, we do ‘The Real’ from home, so I can still do this job, which I’m thankful for.”

Garcelle goes on sharing that she has no symptomps and has been taking multiple coronavirus tests which all come back negative.
Back in November, a source claimed that “the ladies and production were informed this morning” about the filming being halted. The cast members, including Lisa Rinna, Erika Girardi, Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley, reportedly last filmed for the upcoming season on Tuesday, November 24. “They filmed yesterday. Everyone’s been told to quarantine for 14 days and haven’t been told much else right now,” the source explained. “They have no idea when they’ll start up again. Everyone’s just waiting for more info.”
This arrives after it was rumored that Garcelle decided to leave the reality TV show following a salary dispute. A source close to the production claimed in October that she wasn’t satisfied with her current pay. “Garcelle wanted a big raise to be on the show. She didn’t get one, and so she’s walking,” the insider claimed. “It’s not worth it to her.”
The source also added that Bravo was planning to get Tori Spelling on the show to replace Garcelle, who joins the show in season 10. The insider, however, noted that the “BH90210” star wouldn’t be a full-time cast member, adding that she’s set to “join the exciting next season in a ‘friend of’ role.”
