      AceShowbiz – “The Crown” season 4 premiered to mixed reviews from viewers. Some praised Emma Corrin’s portrayal of beloved British royal family member Lady Diana, while some others were critical of the plot. In response to the backlash, Corrin admitted that this was a “difficult” situation.
      During her appearance on “The Tamron Hall Show” on November 16, the actress was asked about recent reports about how royal family and members of British Parliament were not happy with the series’ depiction of Diana’s marriage to Prince Charles.
      “I think for everyone in ‘The Crown’, we always try and remind everyone that the series that we’re in is fictionalized, to a great extent,” she shared. “Obviously, it has its roots in reality and in some fact, but Peter Morgan’s scripts are works of fiction.”
      However, Corrin could understand that some people might have difficulty in taking a narrative about a real-life figure. “At the same time, I understand why people would be upset because this is history,” she explained. “And even with Diana, it’s still very much fresh, I suppose–everything that happened. So I do really understand if people would be upset.”

      “We approach these people that we play as characters, which is why it’s such a joyous job because Peter writes such rich and complex characters. And as an actor, it’s such a joy to really bring a lot to them,” she added.
      Corrin herself admitted that playing the late mother of Prince William and Prince Harry was daunting. “This is ‘The Crown’ ‘s version of Diana,” she convinced herself. “That really changed it for me. It doesn’t remove the pressure and the responsibility that I feel, but it made it more manageable to do the role.”

      Prior to this, it was reported that Prince Williams wasn’t happy with how his parents were portrayed on the hit Netflix series. “The Duke of Cambridge is none too pleased with it. He feels that both his parents are being exploited and being presented in a false, simplistic way to make money,” a source claimed. “In this case, it’s dragging up things that happened during very difficult times 25 or 30 years ago without a thought for anyone’s feelings,” the insider went on to say. “That isn’t right or fair, particularly when so many of the things being depicted don’t represent the truth.”

      AceShowbiz – Will Smith brought back both his “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” character’s Aunt Vivs for a reunion special, which aired on Wednesday, November 18.
      The movie star shared a video clip featuring actresses Daphne Maxwell Reid and Janet Hubert hours before the 30th anniversary get together debuted on streaming service HBO Max and confirmed via Instagram that both would be part of the reunion.
      “Two queens, one throne, all love! #FreshPrinceReunion tonight on @hbomax,” he wrote in the caption.

      Hubert played Aunt Viv on the first three seasons of the sitcom before being replaced by Reid.
      The reunion ended a feud between Hubert and Smith after she blamed him for her departure from the show – and her struggle to find work as an actress.
      Smith and Hubert addressed their long-running feud with Will joking, “Been a long time,” when he greeted her on set.
      “This has been tough,” Hubert told Smith. “I just wanted to know one thing: why did you guys go so far? I lost so much… You have no idea.”

      Smith confessed he wasn’t sensitive to his former castmate when she fell pregnant during the show’s third season, adding, “I can see where I made the set very difficult for Janet.”
      She went on to reveal she was offered a terrible deal to return for a fourth season and turned it down, admitting she was deeply hurt by how quickly she was replaced – and her personal and professional lives took a big hit.
      “I was banished… and they said it was you who banished me…,” she told Smith. “I lost everything… and I understand you were able to move forward but you know those words – calling a black woman difficult in Hollywood is the kiss of death.”
      Tearing up, she then apologized for blasting Will “to pieces” in the media, prompting an emotional Smith to add, “The person I want to be is someone who protects you, not someone who unleashes dogs on you.”
      Alfonso Ribeiro, Tatyana Ali, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Karyn Parsons and Joseph Marcell also took part in the reunion. The late James Avery, who played Uncle Phil on the show, was remembered during a tribute.
      “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air” debuted in America on September 10, 1990, and became an instant international TV hit, running for six seasons.
      The reunion show was scheduled to air on Thursday night, but Smith announced the show would drop a day earlier on Wednesday afternoon.
      The get together ended with the former castmates all shedding tears as they recalled filming the final episode in 1996, before Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff performed the show’s beloved theme song.

      AceShowbiz – More disguised celebrity singers performed in a new episode of “The Masked Singer”. Airing on Wednesday, November 18, the episode saw two of the four singers from Group B being sent home in a heartbreaking double elimination.
      The first singer to take to the stage to perform that evening for Group B finals was the Seahorse. Singing Britney Spears’ “…Baby One More Time”, she flaunted a spot-on Britney impression. Her final clue said that she was never in a girl group. Among the guesses by the panelist, Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger and guest panelist Cheryl Hines, were Kesha (previously known Ke$ha), Kellie Pickler and Sia Furler.

      Following up was the Crocodile, who belted out “Bleeding Love” by Leona Lewis. He said that he was in a huge cult classic movie for his final clue. The panelists thought that the Crocodile might be Jared Leto, Jordan Knight or Justin Guarini.

      The Whatchamacallit, meanwhile, showed off his swag as he opted to perform “Lean Back” by Terror Squad featuring Fat Joe and Remy Ma. As for his final clue, he said that he won a championship. The panelists threw some names including Lonzo Ball, Carmelo Anthony and J.B. Smoove.

      Concluding the night was the Serpent. He hit the stage to sing “Cool” by Jonas Brothers, flaunting his smooth, slightly raspy soul vibe. Despite looking reversed tonight, the Serpent was praised by the panelists. Robin called it a Super Six performance, while Cheryl dubbed the Serpent sexy. Jamie Foxx, Donald Faison and Dr. Elvis Francois were among the guesses.

      After the voting process were done, the Seahorse was announced to be first singer heading to the Super Six that night. Before viewers learned who joined her in the Super Six, the Whatchamacallit was unmasked. Ken changed his final guess from Damian Lillard to Lonzo Ball, while Robin was convinced he was Michael Strahan. Jenny initially thought he was Winston Duke, but now she named Devin Booker. The Whatchamacallit was actually Lonzo Ball!
      Later, it was revealed that the Crocodile was sent to the next round. That meant the Serpent was eliminated. Ken named Daveen Diggs as his final guess, while Nicole thought he was Dr. Elvis Francois. Jenny guessed John Legend. As for Robin and Cheryl, they guessed Donald Faison. The panelist guessed correctly again because the Crocodile was Dr. Elvis Francois!

      AceShowbiz – Following the end of Battle Rounds, season 19 of “The Voice” began the Knockouts in the new episode. Airing on Tuesday, November 17, the episode saw Usher being introduced as the mega mentor for the current season. Each team would have three Knockout performances in addition to Four-Way Knockout.
      The first Knockout was between Tamara Jade and Casme from Team John Legend. Tamara opted to sing “Higher Ground” by Stevie Wonder, while Casme belted out “Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus. They both gave stunning performances but John had to make a decision, and he decided to keep Tamara on his team.

      Later, Team Gwen Stefani had Payge Turner going against Ryan Berg. Payge sang “Creep” by Radiohead for her Knockout performance, while Ryan chose “Makin’ Me Look Good Again” by Drake White. The coaches raved about Ryan’s “gentle rasp.” Payge received a huge praise from the coaches as Blake Shelton described her performance as her having “an out-of-body experience.” Meanwhile, John called her “a revelation.” Gwen named Payge as the winner.

      Following it up was Ben Allen and Worth the Wait from Team Blake. Ben performed “She Got the Best of Me” by Luke Combs, while the trio sang “Delta Dawn” by Tanya Tucker. Ben was praised for his big voice, while John told Worth the Wait that it was easily their best performance. Blake was also impressed by the mother-daughter trio’s harmonies as they listened to his advice during rehearsals. Blake eventually picked Worth the Wait. However, Gwen wasn’t going to let Ben go that easily because she decided to steal Ben.

      More Knockout performances will be shown in the next episode. “The Voice” airs on Mondays and Tuesdays on NBC.

The outing kicked off with a growing tension between Noah Erb and the rest of the guys after he participated in a group date which initially didn’t have his name on the participant list.
      During the group date, the men had to wrestle each other as the others who weren’t on the date watched from the sidelines. Chasen Nick was set to fight Ed Waisbrot in the final round, but Ed backed out due to his previous shoulder injury. That was when Noah decided to hop into the ring, though he was eventually defeated. Tayshia, however, was impressed by his bold move.
      Noah, meanwhile, was aware of how the other men felt towards him. “I hate to say I don’t care about their feelings, but I really don’t,” he said in a confessional. “My time with Tayshia is precious and I’m not here to mess around. I’m here to take risks.”

      He did exactly that during the night portion of the date. He was the first one to pull Tayshia aside and told her, “I told you from the start, I’m going to come here and be myself and be open and fight for what I want. If that’s something you’re into, it’ll work out. If it’s something you’re not, then I’d rather not waste our time.” It seemed like his words worked for Tayshia as she leaned for a kiss.
      “Every time I’ve talked to Noah, he’s surprised me,” Tayshia admitted. “Even if he looks absolutely ridiculous, he owns it.” Noah, however, wasn’t the only one who caught her heart as she also felt connected with Brendan Morais on the group date. Despite that, Tayshia decided to give the group date rose to Noah.
      The other men didn’t take it well considering that Noah wasn’t even invited to the group date in the first place. Ben was especially disappointed because Tayshia turned him down when he was about to ask her for a talk. “I want someone that’s going to fight for me, that’s eager to talk to me,” Tayshia explained. “And I know there are some guys here who feel exactly that way.”

      The funnyman, the longest-serving current late night host, will end his hit talk show “Conan” in June (21), and take his talents to streaming service HBO Max for a new weekly variety series.
      “I’m thrilled that I get to continue doing whatever the hell it is I do on HBO Max, and I look forward to a free subscription,” O’Brien quipped while confirming the news.

      The TV personality joined the late night circuit in 1993 when he took over from David Letterman as the host of “Late Night” and launched “Conan” on U.S. network TBS in 2010. The show had previously been renewed until 2022.

      A so-called friend of Prince Charles claimed to Daily Mail that Prince Williams wasn’t happy with how his parents were portrayed on the hit Netflix series, which sees Josh O’Connor playing Prince Charles to Emma Corrin’s Princess Diana. “The Duke of Cambridge is none too pleased with it. He feels that both his parents are being exploited and being presented in a false, simplistic way to make money,” the source claimed.

      It also seemed like the royal family were suspicious of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s multi-year deal with Netflix earlier this year. They allegedly “raised eyebrows about Harry taking millions from the company that’s behind all this.” The source added, “After all where do much of Netflix’s profits come from? ‘The Crown’.”
      Another source believed that the streaming giant was “trolling on a Hollywood budget.” The source explained, “There is no sense of telling carefully nuanced stories–it’s all very two-dimensional…The public shouldn’t be fooled into thinking this is an accurate portrayal of what really happened.”
      Harry and Meghan, who officially stepped back as senior members of the British royal family in January, signed a multi-year deal with bosses at Netflix to produce content for the streaming service in September. As they create a yet-to-be-named production company, Netflix will pay the Duke and Duchess of Sussex an unspecified amount to develop documentaries, docu-series, feature films, scripted shows and children’s programming exclusively for the platform.
      “Our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope,” the couple said in a statement at the time. “As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us.”

      The former mixed martial arts fighter portrays Cara Dune on the Disney+ Star Wars series, but she hasn’t been winning fans on social media after sharing her stance on COVID-19 protective measures and the U.S. presidential election.
      Carano took to Twitter over the weekend, November 13-15, to share an image of two people purposely putting face masks over their eyes.
      “BREAKING NEWS: DEMOCRATIC GOVERNMENT LEADERS NOW RECOMMENDS (sic) WE ALL WEAR BLINDFOLDS ALONG WITH MASKS SO WE CAN’T SEE WHAT’S REALLY GOING ON,” the meme caption read.

      Gina Carano voiced what seemed to be anti-mask stance amid the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
      The posting prompted the launch of the #FireGinaCarano hashtag as several social media users expressed outrage.

      “Woah, Gina this is extremely irresponsible. If you are referring to the election, there is no proof of any fraud,” one user rebuffed Carano’s tweet. “If you are referring to mask wearing, we should be doing that and if we all did it we would be able to go outside sooner.”

      One social media user reminded Gina Carano about the irresponsible nature of her tweet.
      Another slammed the wrestler-turned-actress, “She’s spread bats**t conspiracy theories about covid, spread bats**t conspiracy theories about election fraud… She no longer gets the benefit of the doubt.”
