EastEnders fans have been suspicious of Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) since he stepped foot in Albert Square last week.
The newcomer has moved to Walford to be close to her sons Kheerat, Jags and Vinny Panesar to the surprise of daughter Ash Panesar (Gurlaine Kaur).
Suki has told her children that she’s battling cancer with just months to live, but fans are convinced she’s made up the illness to get closer to her family.
In tonight’s episode, Suki started up a conversation with cancer sufferer Jean Slater and began quizzing her about her illness.
Poorly Jean was asked the name of her doctor and about her experience with cancer.
Fans of the BBC One show are convinced that evil Suki has only befriended Jean so she can continue to lie to her family about having cancer.
Taking to Twitter, one fan said: “Suki doesn’t have cancer, she’s listening to Jean for research on how to act like she does.”
Another added: “There’s no way Suki has cancer! She’s using it so she can get her sons (and other people) to do everything for her.”
A third penned: “Evil. Imagine using Jean just to get more info on cancer that’s she’s not even got just to get her supply of attention. She defo a high-level narcissist.”
A fourth said: “Aw Suki questioning Jean about the cancer so she can do a good job at faking the cancer.”
Ash spoke to her mum about her illness later on in the episode with Suki telling her daughter that her specialist was the same as Jean’s.
When doctor Ash offered to attend her mother’s next appointment with her for support, Suki brushed off her the idea.
Ash is slowly seemingly finding out more flaws in her mother’s cancer diagnosis as the days go on.
Suki admitted to Ash that she had longer than weeks to live during last night’s episode despite telling her sons that she just four months to live.
Will Suki get caught out?
EastEnders continues on BBC One on Monday at 8pm
