Piers Morgan has credited a tough 2020 with cementing his and Susanna Reid ‘s friendship both on- and off-screen.
The Good Morning Britain host has had his say on the difficult year, which has seen the two of them take on politicians and other tough subjects.
And Piers, 55, said: “I feel like Susanna and I had each other’s backs during some very difficult shows.
“She’s brilliant and I hugely value our often brutally honest friendship, on-screen and off.”
The controversial host labelled 2020 as “the toughest year work-wise” however made it clear it was “nothing compared to what health and care workers have been through”, dealing with the pandemic.

The two of them may be on their winter break at the moment, but they will be back on Christmas Day for a very special episode.
