I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! bosses have reportedly splashed the cash to transform derelict Gwrych Castle into a fully-functioning TV set.
ITV bosses are said to have spent “millions” on the “haunted” castle in North Wales ahead of the new series.
The money is said to have been spent on making the castle safe – with the installation of electrics and pipes of running water for the campmates.
The crew have also repaired the crumbling castle, which was hired for £1million for six weeks.
Stars will sleep under a roof to protect them from the brutal Welsh weather.

It’s claimed builders have made temporary coverings, using extra-strong plastic, for a makeshift roof.
There’s also an unsheltered section of the castle where a campfire will be allowed.
“This isn’t a holiday camp for the stars, but without a roof, everyone would have been utterly miserable for three weeks, which would not make great telly,” an insider told The Sun.

“It will still be hard work but slightly warmer than if it snows where they are sleeping.
“ITV want viewers to largely recognise the show.”
A huge studio has also been created on-site for hosts Ant and Dec.
There’s also security in place as the castle backs onto a golf course and walking paths.
The line-up for the 20th series of the show is set to be bigger and better than ever.
Celebs including Maya Jama, former Strictly star AJ Pritchard and TV host Vernon Kay are rumoured to be starring in the show this year.
