Samantha Markle has spoken about her younger sister, Meghan Markle’s decision to officially announce her collaboration with Disney as the world suffers a global coronavirus pandemic.
She even claimed her sister was “insensitive” before adding her announcement was “macabre”.
Samantha, 54, has spoken exclusively to Daily Star Online about her sister who has cut off all contact with her family, besides her mum, Doria Ragland.
Meghan and Prince Harry made the controversial decision to step down from The Royal Family in January in order to live a “financially independent”, something which seems to have been secured pretty quickly.
It was later revealed that the Sussexes would lose their His/Her Royal Highness title, a shocking move which hadn’t been seen since The Queen’s uncle, King Edward VII abdicated the throne to marry Wallis Simpson, an American divorcee.

In an unprecedented chat with Daily Star Online, Samantha has slammed her sister’s decision to announce her first project away from the Windsor family – the day after it was revealed Prince Charles was suffering from coronavirus.
Sam who has previously spoken about raising Meghan for 12-years while they grew up in Los Angeles said her sister should have announced that she was worried about people and sending prayers, rather than a work project.
She said: “It’s totally insensitive if she was going to announce something.
“She might want to announce that she’s worried about everybody and sends her prayers and love and that she’s worried about our father and that she contacted him.”
The mum-of-three went on to say: “You’re talking about a person who in the middle of a pandemic tells people to go to counselling school so do the insensitivity math.
“At the end of the Africa documentary when she said she was glad to know that people were concerned about how she is doing, even in the midst of a pandemic she doesn’t seem too worried about how anyone is doing especially family.”

Controversially, Meghan opted to keep her Hollywood agents and lawyers after she married Prince Harry.
Samantha added: “I think it was clear from the beginning keeping an agent a manager and an attorney in Los Angeles that she had always planned to go back so this is no surprise and it is really insensitive of her to promote her voice-over during a pandemic.
“Maybe she should write on a banana that she hopes everyone stays healthy and post it on Instagram.”

The 54-year-old also added that a casting agent should cast Meghan as Caligula.
Speaking about their father’s ill health, Samantha confirmed that he is currently well and socially isolating but in good spirits.
“We talk several times a day, so he’s alright. He has people helping him and looking after him,

“But somebody should tell my sister she won’t get coronavirus for making a phone call.”
Speaking about Prince Charles’ positive COVID-19 diagnosis, Samantha said: “Prayers for the Royal Family, money doesn’t fix everything.
“Maybe my sister will have an epiphany.”
Daily Star Online has contacted Buckingham Palace for comment.
