Perrie Edwards talks 'new family addition' as she self-isolates with boyfriend

Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards opened up the latest addition to her family on Good Morning Britain today.

The blonde beauty, 26, chatted to presenters Ben Shephard and Lorraine Kelly about the reaction to her self-isolation staircase shuffle Tik-Tok video, which is gone global.

The impressive footage shows Perrie and hunky boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain dancing while travelling up a set of stairs.

As well as dishing the dirt on how the couple created the viral video, Perrie revealed her and Alex have welcomed a new addition to the family.

The Shout Out To My Ex hitmaker told GMB viewers: “We have a new Frenchie called Travis.

“He is so cute and is keeping us busy.”

Although her French Bulldog fur baby didn’t make an appearance on GMB this morning, Perrie’s other pooch Hatchi interrupted the interview to pinch a cuddle from his owner.

Perrie continued to chat to Ben and Lorraine about Little Mix’s forthcoming talent show The Search, which has currently been postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Speaking about the upcoming show, Perrie explained: “It’s amazing. It feel so weird on the different side of things.

“We have been there. Being the one to have someones dream in your hands. Really daunting but nice change of series.

“The talent is incredible.”

Perrie shot to fame with fellow band members Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirwall and Jesy Nelson on The X factor in 2011.

Little Mix were the first band to win the ITV singing show and have now swapped roles to become judges on Little Mix: The Search.

The girl group have today released their latest single Break Up Song.

Chatting about being away from her bandmates during the coronavirus lockdown, Perrie admitted: “It’s nice to have some breathing space.

“We do live in each others pockets, and we’re messaging all the time.”

“It’s weird circumstances isn’t it.”
