Corrie spoilers hint Nina 'to brutally attack Corey' in murder revenge

Coronation Street spoilers have revealed Nina Lucas is about to press “self-destruct” on her life, turning to alcohol in a bid to process her grief.

It’s only been a few weeks since Seb Franklin met a tragic end, dying in a hospital bed after his head wounds from a sickening attack proved fatal.

Nina (Mollie Lucas) managed to recover from the assault, which saw Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) and his gang beat the couple mercilessly in an unprovoked attack.

Watching Corey get away with the crime has left her furious, with Corrie spoilers hinting Nina might lash out at him to avenge Seb’s murder.

With episodes launching next Monday, Roy Cropper (David Neilson) will be seriously concerned when Nina staggers home from a night of drinking, refusing to tell Roy where she has been.

Desperately trying to help her, Roy suggests she work on her graphic novel, only for Nina to tear her drawings apart and declare them rubbish.

Roy and Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) meet up and tape the pictures back together, sharing the drawings to Instagram to show Nina just how talented she is.

Unfortunately, the gesture only angers Nina, who heads to the corner shop to try and nick another bottle of vodka.

Carla Connor (Alison King) catches her in the act and warns her drinking will only make the situation worse, but Nina refuses to listen to her.

She makes a beeline for the bistro where she joins Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) and her friend Noah, and proceeds to knock back wine and flirt with Noah.

He advises Daisy to take her home, but just as Nina approaches Roy’s house, she jumps into a taxi, leaving her uncle fearing for her life.

She makes it home the next morning in a hungover state and then heads to the factory for a meeting, where she tells Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) to stuff her job.

Heading to the Rovers’ Return, she sinks pints with a dodgy older man named Hughie, who she met the previous night.

Could Nina seriously harm Corey to get revenge?

Sharing her concerns with Abi Franklin (Sally Carman), Daisy is worried as she watches Nina and Hughie flirt, eventually leaving the pub and travelling back to his hotel together.

In the hotel bar, Nina is shaken to see Corey having a drink with Weatherfield footballer Tommy Orpington (Matt Milburn), who has awarded him the dong for ‘Best New Talent’.

Filled with rage, Nina heads over to the table and informs Tommy that Corey kicked her boyfriend, Seb, to death just weeks previously.
