Emmerdale star Reece Dinsdale has shown off his dramatic body transformation after giving up crisps for ten weeks.
The 61-year-old took to Twitter to reveal just how much of a difference giving up the guilty pleasure food had on him, sharing a before and an after photo.
The after photo showed he sported a noticeably slimmer face after getting some rest and cutting out the salty snack.
Captioning the images he wrote: “Amazing what ten weeks’ rest and recuperation (and far fewer crisps) can do for you.”
Reece played villain Paul Ashdale in the popular ITV soap and is set to direct an episode of Emmerdale this week.
He excitedly added in his tweet: “Start shooting on Monday and I’m ready for the fray.”
His fans were quick to flood the replies praising the star’s efforts.
“Looking good!!! Stress free, relaxation and plenty fresh air does wonders!!! Xx,” commented one fan.
“Wow you look fantastic! Zara is a lucky lady. Good lucky with the directing,” said a second.
A third wrote: ”WOW!!! That’s astounding (((Reece))) Inspirational achievement.”
Reece’s new fitness haul comes after he previously confessed he struggled to watch himself on screen due to a secret battle with body dysmorphia.
He admitted: “In my life I have never been comfortable after things that were said when I was young.
“I would always look at myself as twice the size I am. It has been the bane of my life. But I work with that.

“I have had some help and my family are fantastic and they support me. I live with it every day. But I also work with it every day.”
Last month, fans were left stricken by the grisly death of Reece’s character Paul in the huge barn explosion.
Reece is married to Zara Turner, an actress from Northern Ireland.
The couple live in Yorkshire along with their two children, daughter Elwy, 19, son, Luca, 16, dog Nelly and cat RuSmall.
