Fans congratulations and support poured in for Kate

Kate had to take a break from her career when her husband, Derek was hospitalized with Coronavirus.

Former Pop Idol and Hearsay member, Myleene Klass filled Kate’s spot in her show.

On her return to the show last year, Kate said: ”I’m delighted to be returning to my morning show on Smooth and to my Global family who have been a big support to me. Things are still hugely challenging and a long way from being normal, but I’d like to think that this will give Derek yet another opportunity to hear my voice as well as many of the songs we both love.”

The nomination marks seven years at the station for Kate.

Fans commented: “Well done you guys.”

Another said: “Congrats and very well deserved!”

Cheering her on, one added: “Kate all the way x”
