Charlene White is favourite to be the first star to be given the boot from the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! camp.

According to bookmakers, it appears that Loose Women anchor and ITV newsreader will be packing her bags.

Charlene is 4/6 to be sent home during the first elimination of the 2022 series followed by MP Matt Hancock at 9/2 and Coronation Street actress Sue Cleaver at 6/1
Alex Apati, of Ladbrokes, told Daily Star: “The odds suggest it’s Charlene who’ll be sent packing tonight, with punters seemingly still torn over what to do with Matt Hancock.”
It comes after Ant and Dec were forced to clear up why mum of two Charlene didn’t get into trouble over a “rule break”.
She’s been branded “selfish” by viewers of the gruelling ITV reality show as she refused to sleep in the camp’s RV as befitting her status as Deputy Leader.
Every year the camp leader and their deputy get to experience a bit of luxury as they get to sleep under shelter and in a comfy bed as opposed to hammocks.
Responding on Twitter the hosts said: “The rules said that only the leader and deputy are allowed to stay in the RV, it didn’t state they HAD to…”
This garnered much comment from fans, with one writing: “Ah so it was just guidance, not a rule that does sound familiar lol x”.
A second said: “Hmmm… I think that’s just an excuse being made on her behalf. Campmates have always suffered when they haven’t done what they’ve been told, makes it way more interesting and fun to watch.”
A third quipped: “Let’s hope Charlene and Chris get this trial such bottlers, Charlene should step down and allow someone to get the bed, not a team player at all.”
While a fourth added: “I’m sorry but this whole RV thing is getting beyond a joke. She is stopping someone who should be in her place simple guidelines or law it needs to be addressed or you will lose viewers and credibility.”

Charlene’s decision to not sleep in the RV also hasn’t gone down well with her campmates.
Mike Tindall vented about the journalist’s, who chose not to sleep in the vehicle with Matt Hancock.
Charlene has appeared to be frightened of the spiders inside the RV and has spent several nights refusing to sleep in the bed.
The decision to not sleep in the vehicle means that one less bed is available for the celebrities and more people have had to sleep in hammocks.
