The Chase star Shaun Wallace makes brutal dig at Bradley’s singing career

The Chase star Shaun Wallace left host Bradley Walsh fuming after dissing his music career on the latest episode of the ITV gameshow.

As contestant Leslie got ready to take on Shaun, aka The Dark Destroyer, in her head-to-head, a question about a dog singing came up, leading Bradley and Shaun to start a debate about what constitutes singing.

Shaun began to howl like a dog and claimed that it “could be classed as singing.”

“When you make a voice or sound, it could be classed as singing,” he said.

Bradley adamantly replied “No, it can’t” and claimed that howling isn’t singing at all.

He went on to tell Shaun that singing was “all about pitch and notes, it’s got nothing to do with…”

Shuan then interrupted the host and said, “it can be, I mean just look at your album.”

Bradley stood looking unimpressed at the comment, before saying “don’t rise to it,” as awkward giggling could be heard from the rest of the studio.

In 2016, at 56-years-old, Walsh recorded his debut album, Chasing Dreams, which featured a series of hits Influenced by the likes of Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, and Bing Crosby.

The album became the second highest-selling U.K. debut album of 2016.

Walsh returned to the studio to record its follow-up, When You’re Smiling In 2017 and saw him once again taking on material that had been made famous by his idols, as well as a selection of hits from musicals.

The four contestants made it to the final chase with £15k after contestant Ian was unable to get a single question right in his cash builder round.

Viewers saw him play for £0 against Shaun, allowing him to make it back to the podium for the final chase.

Despite answering 16 questions correctly, The foursome were caught with 15 seconds remaining and went home with nothing.

Fans took to social media to comment on the loss, saying: “At least Ian took home EXACTLY what he won at the table,” said one.

Another joked: “At least Ian gets to take all his winnings home!… #TheChase.”
