Presenter Lorraine Kelly was forced to raise her voice at Dr Hilary Jones during her Tuesday morning show after he appeared to miss his cue.
The famous ITV doctor appeared on the programme to discuss how taking naps can be good for your health and when best to do it.
But as Lorraine started to tease what was still to come in the final 20 minutes of the programme, one of those things being a chat with Dr Hilary, the TV medic pretended to be asleep.

However he then awkwardly failed to take his cue to wake up, forcing Lorraine to shout “Doctor Hilary!” before he realised he was back on air.
The news comes after Dr Hilary left viewers stunned after he revealed that he turned 70 years old on June 19.
The TV personality, who became well known for his professional takes during Covid, had fans flocking to Twitter to share their thoughts on his ageless looks.
One viewer tweeted: “Doctor Hilary can’t be 70yrs old surely”.
While another said: “You have helped so many people over your years as the Doctor on morning TV, you’re a credit to your profession & who doesn’t look his age.”
Elsewhere on the morning show, Lorraine also wasn’t best pleased after she jokingly told off singer Tom Grennan for giving her a present that he claimed was “sat on”.
The All These Nights hitmaker was evidently pleased to join Lorraine on Tuesday (June 20) to discuss his career as well as his new stint on Channel 4’s Gogglebox.
But before he got into his chat with the TV veteran, Tom was left disappointed when he presented Lorraine with his vinyl album that appeared to be crushed.
Surprised, Tom said: “Look at that, look at the state of that, it looks like its been sat on for weeks.”
Lorraine then added: “Don’t you be coming in here giving me presents that look battered !”
Tom replied: “I know, I’m so sorry.”
But Lorraine laughed it off and said: “No, I’m delighted!”
Tom has been booked and busy and recently made his TV debut on Celebrity Gogglebox on Friday night alongside his dad, Martin.
