And behind the scenes, those actors are all too happy to share bits about their lives off camera – including a whole wealth of stunning snaps. For some, including Kelly Monaco and Kristina Wagner, it’s to show that women don’t need to be afraid of ageing, with various no-filter bikini snaps proudly splashed across their Insta grids.
For Kristina, she posed for the first ever time in a bikini at the age of 54, back in 2017. She made her bikini cover debut for First For Women, explaining: “Never in my life have I posed in a bikini or underwear before, but I didn’t mind because it’s not about ‘how do you get fit so you can wear a bikini?’ – it’s about a lifestyle and having good body image.”
The Felicia Cummings actress added: “I look my best if I focus on taking care of my whole self – mind, body and spirit. As I’ve become older, I’ve learned to honour myself, honour my feelings, own them and feel good about who I am. I don’t need to judge myself anymore.”
She’s far from the only star to share glowing snaps where fans can see them. From Meghan Markle to Laura Wright, plenty of actors have done the same.
