Maura Higgins planning Love Island return next year as she 'needs a new man'

Love Island beauty Maura Higgins teased fans as she confessed that she would go back into the villa to find love again.

The brunette beauty got ­together with Curtis Pritchard on the ITV dating show, but the pair have since split.

Asked about the prospect of heading back to Love Island for a ­second time, Maura told her fans on Instagram: “Well to be honest I need a man. So maybe I’ll go back in next year, you never know.”

Maura, 29, also rubbished the rumours linking her with her Dancing On Ice co-star Alexander Demetriou, 28.

She said: “It doesn’t bother me. We’re in 2020 and a man and woman cannot just be friends…”

Meanwhile, Maura previously announced her split from 24-year-old Curtis via Instagram.

The reality TV star revealed they had decided to go their separate ways, after ­enjoying a “great experience” together on Love Island.

She wrote at the time: “Curtis and I have made the decision to separate.

“We enjoyed a great experience from our time in the villa and want to thank everyone for supporting our relationship.”

Maura insisted that she and Curtis remained on good terms and wished him the “best for the future”.

Maura – who has landed a number of lucrative endorsement deals over recent months – said: “There is no easy way to get through a break-up and no bad feeling on either side.

“We tried to make it work but it wasn’t to be and I wish Curtis nothing but the best.”

Meanwhile, Maura recently splashed the headlines as it was claimed the star has now become a millionaire after landing many lucrative deals.

The reality TV star had made her wealth from a deal with Ann Summers, Dancing On Ice and can earn up to £10,000 for social media endorsements.
