Emmerdale real-life couple Laura Norton and Mark Jordon have announced they’ve become parents to a baby boy named Jesse.
Laura, who plays Kerry Wyatt in the ITV soap, took to Instagram on Monday to share the sweet news that she’s given birth to a baby boy.
The 37-year-old actress thanked her fiancé Mark, who played Daz Spencer in Emmerdale between 2014 and 2019, for being “the best birthing partner” in a sweet social media post.
Alongside a series of images of their bundle of joy, Laura penned: “”So, on Friday Jan 29th at 1.30am we managed to bring this little champ into the world.
“It was the most incredible, surreal experience I have ever had and probably ever will and my tiny mind is blown.
“He is perfect and we’re all so happy to welcome him to the fam. Jesse Jordon we’re all head over heels IN LOVE with you.

“@daddyjordon you were the BEST birthing partner would absolutely not be in one piece without you and @roh_birthcentre are amazing!! All the girls but espesh Amy our midwife who is some sort of superhero.”
Actor Mark also shared the news in his own Instagram post, writing: “So proud to announce that on Friday 29th Jan at 1.30am @laura_norts gave birth to our beautiful baby boy . Weighing 8lb 10oz, both returned home that day.
“Huge thank you to the wonderful midwifes @roh_birthcentre . Welcome to the world Jesse Jordon.”

Emmerdale stars and fans have rushed to to leave a comment on social media for the new parents.
Lisa Riley, who plays Mandy Dingle in the soap, penned: “You are a superstar, Congratulations to you both. We re gleaming for you all.”
Arron Dingle actor Danny Miller added: Congratulations mate! So so happy for you and the new big man!”
While former Emmerdale beauty Sammy Winward posted: “So in love with him already and the proudest friend on earth.”

Soap star Hayley Tamaddon wrote: “So so happy for you” alongside three red love heart emojis.
One Emmerdale fan gushed: “I’m so happy for you both. Congratulations.”
Another added: “So pleased you and Mark.”
While a third said “Yaaay! He’s so gorgeous. I’m over the moon for you both.”
Laura and Mark, 55, have been in a relationship for five years, having first met when he joined the cast of Emmerdale back in 2014.
They became engaged in June 2018, after the actor popped the question during a holiday in Spain.
Jesse is their first child together and Mark is also father to two children with his former partner Siobhan Finneran.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays
