This Morning’s presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langford seem to be raking in the cash, as it’s now been revealed that the couple are successful millionaires in their own right.
According to The Sun, the pair earn a huge salary thanks to their television and presenting commitments, which often sees them rub shoulders with some of the world’s wealthiest.
The power duo’s accounts have made for a very healthy reading which suggests the couple are able to live comfortably and travel the world.
Last year Ruth and Eamonn’s firm Holmes and Away, reportedly accumulated £500,000 due to income received from radio broadcasting.
The accounts also detailed an organisation run by Eamonn called Red, White and Green which made £1.1million in 2020.
Not only this, but a “theatrical” business in Ruth’s name called Hey-Ho Ltd accounts for resources of £1.5million.
Eamonn, who has been working consistently in the media business for over four decades recently spoke about his achievements surviving in a cutthroat industry for a long period of time.
The 61-year-old explained: “The art of television is surviving. People say ‘what’s your biggest achievement?’ and it’s actually staying the course for 41 years.
“It’s getting on the conveyor belt, that’s tough but staying on the conveyor belt is much tougher.”
Though the presenter is constantly working, earlier this month Eamonn gave fans insight into his constant battle with chronic pain which left him using a walking aid on This Morning.
Taking to Twitter the star wrote: “Those of you who follow me on social media will know, about a month ago I did something to my back, I don’t know how I did it, getting into the car, getting out of a car, getting out of bed, whatever.
“I’ve got an MRI scan, but the trouble is, everything closes for Easter, I haven’t got it analysed yet, but what I do know is, I can’t sleep at night.”
Last week the father of four told The Sun about his current treatment that he is undergoing, as he is now using circulation boosters.
Eamonn explained: “It gives these pulses through your feet and legs and really, really helps with your circulation.”
