Holly Willoughby replaced by Rochelle Humes amid her long This Morning break

Rochelle Humes hosted This Morning alongside Phillip Schofield today after Holly Willoughby revealed she was taking an extra-long break from the ITV show.

The former Saturday’s singer, 32, took to the famous ITV studios today as it was announced she was presenting alongside Phil, 59, all week.

It comes after Holly announced she taking extra time off as she’s working on another project away from This Morning.

Opening the show, Phillip explained: “Rochelle is here all week. Lovely to see you.”

Rochelle was thrilled to be back on the show and after opening the programme, talk turned to M&S’s battle with Aldi over Colin and Cuthbert the Caterpillar cakes.

She wrote: “Vitamin D, caffeine and a side order of distraction from Chester…

“Working on something else next week which I can’t wait to share with you all…

“Thank you to the lovely Rochelle Humes for keeping my side of the sofa warm.”
