The Chase turns X-rated as Bradley Walsh tells Jenny Ryan he's 'big down under'

Bradley Walsh appeared to make a racy comment about his manhood during Wednesday’s episode of The Chase.

The cheeky 61-year-old presenter admitted that while he had never been to Australia or New Zealand, he was “big down under”.

Brad’s Oz comment came about as one of the contestants revealed originally lived in Sydney.

The host asked Chaser Jenny Ryan if she had ever been to the Antipodean country and when she said “no”, he said the same but added: “However, I’m very big down under.”

It is unclear if he was referring to his nether regions or if he meant he was popular in Australia.

Bradley recently admitted that he was unsure about reviving Darling Buds of May as he takes on the role of Pop Larkin

He has discussed being wary of becoming too ubiquitous andeveals he hasn’t brought back Pop’s “Perfik!” catchphrase.

The Doctor Who star told Radio Times: “He says it in the books, of course, but it became such an iconic catchphrase in the 90s that we decided not to go back there.

“We used the word once, maybe twice, in the whole series.”

The character Pop Larkin was most famously portrayed by Only Fools and Horses’ star David Jason in 1991-1993.

The first of six episodes of the H. E. Bates’ novel adaption will premiere this Sunday on ITV.

Bradley is the new host of Blankety Blank

Bradley was seen on ITV’s Beat The Chasers with a new batch of contestants competing against Jenny Ryan, Anne Hegerty, Shaun Wallace, Mark Labbett, Paul Sinha and Darragh Ennis on Saturday.

He was on top presenting form on the show however, anyone channel surfing after 9pm would have done a double-take.

BBC One kicked off their new classic game show, Blankety Blank hosted by none other than Bradley Walsh.

Fans were quick to comment on Twitter, one said: “Blankety Bank has returned, and Bradley Walsh is currently simultaneously on the two main channels at once. It’s no wonder the pubs are full.”
