Naga Munchetty has revealed she often suffers from imposter syndrome in her BBC job.
The famous broadcaster has worked for the BBC for over 10 years, but she made a surprising admission about working for the channel on Tuesday (April 26).
Naga, 47, is a regular presenter on BBC Breakfast, but she has also worked on BBC News and BBC Newsnight and hosts her own Radio 5 programme.
Despite this, Naga confessed to a fellow journalist that she “often” suffers from imposter syndrome, a common problem felt by professionals who feel they don’t deserve their job.
Naga took to Twitter with a sweet message of support to a journalist who is set to join BBC News next month as a Journalism Researcher.

Laura Conder, the journalist, announced the exciting career news on the social media site, where she admitted to feeling imposter syndrome.
Laura began: “I’ve got news time” before adding: “Next month I will be joining the @BBCNews as a Journalism Researcher in News Intake. Still suffering from massive imposter syndrome about it but so incredibly happy about going into a dream role so early in my career.”
Naga decided she wanted to reassure Laura as well as congratulate her on the position, and in doing so explained that she too often goes through imposter syndrome.

She said: “Hi Laura – Welcome! I also often feel imposter syndrome – It’s not so unusual – Do your best, ask for help and well done on the dream role! X”.
Naga is known to offer words of encouragement or congratulations to her colleagues on Twitter.
Just recently, she congratulated her BBC co-star Chris Mason, who is set to take over the role of BBC’s Political Editor from Laura Kuenssberg.

She news star responded to a tweet from the BBC News Press Team account.
The post wrote: “Delighted to announce the appointment of @ChrisMasonBBC as the BBC’s new Political Editor. Chris will take up his post in May after the local elections.”
Naga replied: “Excellent news @ChrisMasonBBC,” alongside a number of hands-clapping emojis.”
