Love Island fans were left fuming as the ITV2 dating show left viewers on a major cliff hanger despite teasing the results of a game-changing recoupling.
Viewers have been on the edge of their seat as they waited for the girls to return from Casa Amore and finally discover which partners the islanders had chosen to recouple with.
Viewers saw Laura Whitmore enter the villa in a teaser at the beginning of the episode and lead viewers to believe the results would be announced on tonight’s episode.

But as the episode came to an end, fans went into meltdown mode after discovering they’d have to wait another day to find out the results.

One fan fumed: “That wasn’t even a cliffhanger it was a straight up cliff.”
A second raged: “they’re leaving us on a cliffhanger. I’m done with the producers,” accompanied by a gif of someone pulling the middle finger.
A third chimed in: “begging love island to stop making it seem like a recoupling is going to happen in the episode when they know damn well theres going to be a cliffhanger.”

While a fourth blasted: “Producers when they do all this build knowing full well they will end it on a cliffhanger. YOU BA**ARDS.”
Fan are desperate to find out the fate of some of the show’s romances as they are put to the test in the latest villa split.
As most fans expected, Luca has remained fiercely loyal to Gemma, having admitted he is “obsessed with her” in the past.
Paige has remained loyal to Jacques but will be stunned to discover he has been flirting with new girl Mollie and shared a bed and a smooch with blonde babe Cheyenne.
Fans were left shocked after he admitted getting a boner while swimming with her in the pool.
Viewers were outraged by his behaviour and language towards the ladies and his treatment of Paige, who has become very close to in the villa.
One viewer said: “the way jacques talks about women is disgusting.”
Another blasted: “Jacques cried to Paige in the middle of the night when he thought there was a chance of her moving to someone else, now look at him.”
While a third agreed: “Jacques must be THE biggest walking red flag we’ve ever seen on this show.”
Love Island airs Sunday – Friday at 9pm on ITV.
