Lorraine says Prince Harry 'always wanted out' as he 'couldn't find place' in family

ITV’s Lorraine Kelly told viewers she could tell Prince Harry “always wanted out” of the Royal family from a young age.

Speaking with the show’s royal correspondents, Lorraine shared her thoughts on the first episode of the explosive Netflix documentary, which dropped at 8am this morning (8 Dec).

“I think he always wanted out and was desperately unhappy in that situation,” Lorraine revealed.

She continued: “I always think that he wanted out, as a little boy he looked bewildered while William always looked quite comfortable.”

Looking at an older Prince Harry now, Lorraine still believes he’s stuck “in the middle of it”.

“He looks as if he’s still in the middle of it, you have to wonder what’s going on at Buckingham Palace”, she said, watching a mini clip from the Netflix show.

Lorraine went on to share how “terribly sad” the situation between Harry and his family currently is.

“I just think it’s terribly sad when you look back on the wedding and what a wonderful day it was”, she explained.

Visibly shocked at how the first episode of the show opened, Lorraine continued: “Maybe I’m being naive but I thought everyone in Britain welcomed them”.

Harry touches on the statement he released, condemning the British press for their articles with “racist undertones”.

Meghan also looked back on a racist incident she’d experienced before meeting Harry but explained that other than that, she was “never really treated like a Black woman”.

“I’d never in my life heard someone say the N-word” Meghan says. “Obviously now everyone is aware of my race because they made it such an issue when I went to the UK,” she says. “Before then, I wasn’t really treated like a black woman.”
