Strictly Come Dancing hunk Graziano Di Prima has revealed that he’s landed a huge theatre role away from the BBC ballroom.
The Italian dancer, 28, is best known for dazzling on the Strictly dancefloor after joining the show in 2018.
Last year, he competed with former Corrie star and singer Kym Marsh, but the pair got eliminated just before the semi final after losing the dance-off to Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu.

However, Graziano has now taken his dancing talents away from the Strictly bubble as he’s bagged himself a job as a choreographer on La Bamba! – a new theatre musical based on the life of rock ‘n’ roll legend Ritchie Valens.
The musical is heading to London’s West End and opening at London’s Peacock Theatre, Sadler’s Wells West End theatre between Tuesday 22 August until Saturday 2nd September.
Speaking to Daily Star about the show, Graziano said: “I don’t think there is a level comparable of excitement that I’ve got for La Bamba!”, adding that producer Paul Morrissey made him ‘fall in love’ with the project.
“It’s the first time I think that a musical is gonna be something with a story of Ritchie Valens but it’s going to be portrayed with a Mexican family nowadays with technology, so you can see the show how the news goes around so quickly.
“The fact that Latin ballroom dancing is gonna be combined with singing is going to be the first time that it’s happening, it’s all so exciting.”
Graziano is doing choreography with Erica Da Silva, and he’s not the only Strictly star to land a part in the show as former dancer Pasha Kovalev is playing Ricardo in the play.
