In Tuesday’s episode (August 8) Whitney spent time with her boyfriend Zack on the day she was due to give birth to their baby Peach.

As viewers know, the couple lost Peach after discovering she suffered from a life-limiting condition.

In the latest episode, Zack revealed his viral load has reduced significantly enough so it can mean he can have unprotected sex with Whitney without risk of passing HIV on.

He also told her that it meant they could begin trying again for another baby.

However, Whitney was not keen and struggled to tell Zack she didn’t want to try again.

Still, viewers think that Whitney will in fact get her own happy ending.

Taking to Twitter, one fan said: “Whitney’s exit is going to be her getting her happy ever after with a baby. I just know it will be.”

Someone else replied: “98% of people agree.”

A third quipped: “I hope she gets her happy exit with Zac,” while someone else agreed: “I’d love for her exit to be a happy one with her finally pregnant and leaving with Zac.”

It comes after Shona herself revealed what she wants to happen to the character.

Speaking to Inside Soap she said: “As a viewer, and after playing her for so long, Whitney deserves a happy ending.”
