EastEnders Theo exit twist ‘sealed’ as Christmas murder victim riddle continues

EastEnders fans are convinced Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis) will be killed off before Christmas.

The Albert Square newcomer has become obsessed with Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) since his arrival as he tutors her pregnant teenage daughter Lily Slater (Lillia Turner).

He has been stalking her online via her Secret Cam site under the name of Edmund and has been paying her a lot of money to speak to him online.

Stacey has found the extra income helpful but her online stalker has since become creepy and has asked for racy photos and videos as well as sending floors to her home.

While fans of the BBC One soap know it’s Theo, Stacey and her family have no idea it’s someone so close to them and are actually convinced it must be another resident.

Martin Fowler (James Bye) had suspicions about Theo but they were quickly brushed off by the others.

Some viewers are certain Theo could die in a horrifying twist after spotting a clue in his scenes with Lily.

Sharing their predictions online, one person wrote: “I think or hope it’s ultimately all coming to a dramatic showdown where Martin and Eve team up to take him down – hopefully sooner rather than later.

Another added: “My prediction is we get some sort of drama the week Lily gives birth where Theo is revealed as a villain (I’m still sticking to my theory that Theo will have Stacey trapped somewhere or something like that).

“It will be part of the big fall excitement. But Theo will get away which facilitates him returning at Christmas to cause more chaos.

“Also, I think Theo is going to cook up some sort of murder/suicide plot at some point and that is why there has been so much emphasis on Romeo and Juliet in the tutoring sessions.”

Another suggested that Theo would be exposed in just a “few weeks time”.

They added: “I reckon it’ll unravel in September. Lily will recognise the writing on a note, but Stacey is hiding the situation well so it may be a while yet.

“I think Eve may catch on but he’ll threaten Eve into staying quiet, or due to the rift Stacey won’t take her seriously.

“I don’t think he’ll be the body on Christmas, Theo’s just way too obvious. I think he’ll disappear when he’s outed and return for Christmas to keep us guessing.”

Earlier this year, EastEnders aired a special flash-forward scene in which a lifeless male body was spotted laying on the floor in the Queen Vic.

Theories have been circulating online about who it could be but fans will have to wait and see who will be leaving Walford in a coffin.

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday on BBC One at 7.30pm
