Chloe Madeley says talk of reunion with ex James Haskell is a ‘slap in her face’

Chloe Madeley has put to bed any hopes of a reunion with her ex James Haskell.

The TV personality and personal trainer has admitted that while they’re getting on well as co-parents, hopes of a romantic reunion is “inappropriate”. James and Chloe went their separate ways last year after welcoming their daughter Bodhi.

While they’ve been seen together on multiple occasions since they split, Chloe has confirmed it’s to focus on co-parenting. Speaking to OK! Magazine, she said the pair are “still friends and still love each other”.

But she declared they made the right decision in going their separate ways. She told the publication: “The thing is, behind the scenes, James and I went through a really difficult time and we made the best decision we could make for him, for me and for our child.

“So it feels like a bit of a slap in the face when people are like, ‘I hope you get back together’.” She blasted the comments as not being supportive.

Chloe explained that with the split the pair are standing their ground and trusting they made the right decision. However with the influx of comments calling for their reunion she said it’s “really hard”.

The mother-of-one added: “I get that it’s good intentions, but I think it’s quite inappropriate.” It wasn’t one single thing that prompted the end of their relationship, with Chloe explaining that after 10 years it needed to be “quite a big board of things”.

The pair then decided their relationship couldn’t be fixed and called time on their romance on good terms.

A statement was released in October confirming they had mutually decided to separate in September 2023. At the time, their family TV show was airing, so they planned to wait until after to confirm the news.

However, with both Chloe and James seen without their rings in the weeks prior, speculation caused them to confirm the news themselves. They said at the time: “We would request privacy at this time.

“Our sole focus now is our beautiful daughter. We shall continue to co-parent with nothing but love.”
