Joe Swash says ‘I’m sick of this’ as Stacey Solomon fumes ‘don’t know why I bother’

Stacey Solomon appeared to jokingly come to the end of her tether as she told her husband “I don’t know why I bother” as Joe Swash sighed: “I’m sick of this.”

Stacey is best known these days for sharing her idyllic home content from her family abode Pickle Cottage. But there’s one person who isn’t a fan and that’s her husband Joe.

In a recent Instagram video, the 34-year-old former X Factor star had fans in hysterics when she showed what really goes on behind the scenes when filming an Instagram video. And it looks like ex-EastEnders actor Joe had enough.

The star posted a clip of her aiming to showcase her new bedding and, in a voiceover, said: “Behind every strong, incredible women trying to make beautiful content online is a husband who is absolutely sick of their sh*t.”

The video then cut to her saying: “It’s too fast. Do it again,” as Joe was secretly in the background pulling the sheets off the bed. He then jokingly chimed in to say: “I’m sick of this sh*t.”

Stacey – who is mum to Zachary, 15, Leighton, 11, Rex, four, Rose, two, and one-year-old Belle – then hilariously captioned the reel: “He loves it really I don’t know why I bother trying to make fancy, pretty content. I much prefer the behind the scenes with Joe Swash edit Tag your Joe Swash Happy Tuesday everyone. Hope this makes you laugh as much as it did me my bedding is my range, @georgehome.”

Stacey and Joe’s recent bout of laughter comes after observant fans quickly stepped in with a warning regarding the child’s favourite snack. Young Rose was happily munching on a packet of raisins, occasionally dropping some onto the carpet leading fans to highlight the potential risks this posed to their pets.

In a subsequent social media post, Stacey expressed her gratitude for their alertness, assuring them she had already taken preventative measures. Reacting to a message from a fan cautioning her: “I bet you’ve had 10million messages. Dogs shouldn’t eat raisins,” accompanied by plenty of laughter and heart emojis.

Responding, the TV personality said: “Literally 10million. This is why I was telling Rose we have to pick them up and they can’t be eaten by the doggies and there are no doggies around Belle’s high chair when usually that’s their favourite spot. But just in case any of that still wasn’t clear… DON’T feed raisins to dog.”

PDSA has said that feeding your dogs “grapes, raisins, sultanas and currants are all potentially poisonous to dogs and if eaten they can bring about digestive issues and in severe cases, renal failure.” While little Rose could be seen sprinkling some raisins onto the high chair for her sibling and scattering several across the floor which she suggested might be “for the doggies”, it seems Stacey has fully implemented her advice and knows exactly what she’s doing.
