Springwatch star Chris Packham has taken to social media to reveal cruel thugs have hung a dead badger on his gate.
The BBC regular took to Twitter to post two harrowing pics of a dead badger hung via orange rope around its neck.
Chris shared two close pictures of the dead animal with his 380,000 followers.
Chris captioned the post: “Always nice to get home after a long day at work to a warm welcome at the gate.
“I’d be grateful if you have an issue with me and my views if you could express it without killing innocent animals.

“What do you think?”
Chris is a public activist against the ongoing controversial badger cull.
Replying to the post, one fan replied: “Horrific. Time to give animal killers the same sentencing as human killers.”

“Omg Chris that’s awful, and so so sad and cruel. I hope you’re ok (well, as ok as you can be), and calling the police,” a seconded added.
Meanwhile, a third continued: “Deeply sorry for the badger and for you, Chris. A distressing sight. I hope that they are caught. Stay safe.”
“So sorry Chris, that’s unbearably awful. Poor creature, people are truly wicked. Hope you’re doing okay and not too shook up,” a fourth chimed in.

In December last year, Chris revealed how a dead fox was left outside his home.
Posting a video of the animal, Chris said: “It seems that if you stick up for foxes, you get your comeuppance from people who still think it’s a good idea to kill them.”
