      AceShowbiz – Justin Bieber and Lady GaGa lead all nominations for the 2020 E!’s People’s Choice Awards after landing seven nods apiece on Thursday (01Oct20).
      Bieber landed most of his mentions for his collaborations with Ariana Grande and Chance the Rapper on the songs “Stuck With U” and “Holy” while he’s also up for Male Artist and Social Celebrity honours.
      Gaga also landed a Social Celebrity nod, along with mentions in the Female Artist and Style Star categories, while her “Rain On Me” collaboration with Ariana Grande, who landed six nominations, led the contenders for Song of the Year and Best Collaboration.
      Megan Thee Stallion also picked up six mentions, thanks mainly to her collaborations with Beyonce Knowles on “Savage” and Cardi B on “WAP” while “Bad Boys for Life” leads the Movies section with six nods. The sequel will face off with “Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn”, “Extraction”, “Hamilton”, “Project Power”, “The Invisible Man”, “The Old Guard”, and “Trolls World Tour” for Best Movie, while the film’s stars, Will Smith and Vanessa Hudgens, both picked up two nominations apiece as part of the action film’s haul.
      Meanwhile, “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Outer Banks”, and “This Is Us” lead the TV categories with five nods apiece.
      The 2020 E’s People’s Choice Awards will be held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California on 15 November (20). Jennifer Lopez was announced as this year’s Icon Award recipient on Wednesday.

      The ‘Love Yourself’ hitmaker runs into a group of fans filming a cover of his new single and decides to watch before surprising them and taking pictures together.

      AceShowbiz – Justin Bieber thrilled a group of unsuspecting fans on Friday (18Sep20) afternoon as they were recording a cover of his new single “Holy”.
      Hours after dropping the track, the 26-year-old musician was out and about in Los Angeles when he stumbled upon the group and watched from a distance, leaning on a lamppost as they performed.
      According to multiple reports, the encounter was unplanned and the performers didn’t recognise the star until he waved at them once they’d finished up the filming. Despite being unaware of the singer, editors at MailOnline claimed the meeting appeared to be filmed for a project Justin is working on.
      After the performance, the Canadian-born singer greeted the large group and posed for pictures. Despite local regulations limiting the gathering of large groups over 10 people, more than a dozen fans were present and posed in a tight group with the singer without face coverings.

      “Holy”, featuring Chance the Rapper, is the star’s first new material since his 2019 album “Changes”, and comes days after Justin celebrated his second wedding anniversary with his model wife Hailey.
      The single is expected to be featured in Bieber’s next studio installment which hasn’t got an official title or release date. The music video saw the singer get cozy with Ryan Destiny. It also featured Wilmer Valderrama.
      “Thank you for being such a huge part of this beautiful story, I’m honored to share the screen with you!” Bieber wrote to his onscreen love interest on Instagram. She responded in kind on her own page, “So beautiful to see this all come together. It was a joy. Happy to be apart, guys. We did that @justinbieber.”

      AceShowbiz – Justin Bieber is back with new music. Reuniting with Chance the Rapper, the Canadian singer released a song called “Holy” on Thursday midnight, September 17 along with its music video that featured Ryan Destiny and Wilmer Valderrama.
      Ryan plays Justin’s love interest in the nearly-five-and-a-half-minute video, which starts with the singer waking up next to the “Star” actress. The scene then changes to show how the pair spend their days, with Justin working as a construction worker while Ryan works at a hospital as a nurse.
      Things seem to be going well with the couple, until Justin’s boss sadly announces that he’s going to shut down the place. Ryan faces a similar situation at her work place, and to pour salt into their wounds, both of them get kicked out of their apartment with nowhere to go. Fortunately, when they’re walking on the streets wondering where they will be heading, the pair meet Wilmer, who offers them a warm meal in his house.
      “Holy” itself finds Justin gushing over his partner. “That the way you hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me/ Feels so holy, holy, holy, holy, holy,” he sings on the chorus. “Runnin’ to the altar like a track star/ Can’t wait another second/ ‘Cause the way you hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me/ Feels so holy.”
      Justin confirmed “Holy” serves as the lead single off his new album, which still doesn’t have a title nor a release date. It will be a follow-up to his fifth album “Chances” that was released in February of this year. Preceded by two singles, the record debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 chart after raking up 231,000 equivalent album units in its first week. Due to this, he became the youngest soloist to have seven US number-one albums at the age of 25.

      AceShowbiz – Last month, DJ Khaled released two collaborations with Drake, “Popstar” and “Greece”. Now, the hip-hop stars have blessed fans with the visuals for the former song and even hired Justin Bieber to star in the eight-minute music video.
      It opens with Khaled sending an endless stream of videos nagging Drake to complete the music video for the song. However, the “Hotline Bling” hitmaker shows no desire to leave his native country of Canada. Following minutes of back-and-forth, Drake finally comes up with an idea to get the song done and that is, getting Justin to take on his role and throw a massive party at his house.
      “N****s come for me, I tear them all to pieces, my girl/ I’ma show your sexy a** what relief is, my girl/ Please don’t take no s**t that’s ’bout to have you geekin’,” Justin mimics Drake’s rap as he hangs out with ladies in skimpy outfits. “And I’m not drivin’ nothin’ that I gotta stick the keys in/ Wonder how I got this way?”
      Hailey Bieber (previously known as Hailey Baldwin) makes a cameo appearance at the end of the music video, as Justin tells her about having a strange dream in which Drake asks him to star in his visuals. However, when the lovebirds go out for a walk with their dog, Justin receives a call from the Canadian hip-hop superstar and that is when he realizes he’s not dreaming.
      Released on July 17, “Popstar” serves as the lead single off Khaled’s upcoming twelfth album entitled “Khaled Khaled”. It debuted at No. 3 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and launched atop the music chart in Canada. In addition to that, the song was nominated for Song of the Summer at the 2020 Video Music Awards but ultimately lost to BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That”.

      AceShowbiz – Justin Bieber has confirmed dates for his rescheduled 2020 tour but Kehlani and Jaden Smith will not be joining him on the road.
      Both stars were billed to support the “Baby” singer, but it appears schedules no longer match up and Justin is on the hunt for a new opener.
      But the show will go on, beginning on June 2, 2021 in San Diego, California.
      “I can’t wait to get out there and connect with my fans on this tour,” Bieber said in a statement. “We’ve been through so much this year. More than ever, we’ve come to understand how much we need each other, and how meaningful these moments can really be.”

      Tickets for the 45-date North American tour, which includes stops at New York’s Madison Square Gardens and the Staples Center in Los Angeles, will go on sale on 6 August.

      The pair’s Intentions collaboration has jumped up to the Billboard Hot 100’s top flight, giving Bieber his 16th top five hit since 2000.
      That ties fellow Canadian Drake for the most this century.
      It’s also Bieber’s fourth mention in the top five this year.

      DaBaby’s “Rockstar”, featuring Roddy Ricch, spends a fourth week at number one, while Megan Thee Stallion’s former chart-topper, “Savage”, featuring Beyonce Knowles, stays put at two, ahead of The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights”, Doja Cat’s “Say So” and the Bieber/Quavo hit.

Having been widely recognized as a pop superstar, the Canadian singer has apparently tried to swift gear by saying that his 2020 studio album is an R&B album.
      It all began as Kehlani, who recently released her new album “It Was Good Until It Wasn’t”, promoted the record on her Instagram post. The 25-year-old songstress urged her fans to stream the record as it could end up becoming the first R&B album to top the charts in 2020.
      “IT WAS GOOD UNTIL IT WASNT. Link in bio. Last day to stream to get the first strictly RNB first week #! album in a long time,” she wrote in a now-deleted post. Further promoting R&B music, she continued, “our genre isn’t dead, our genre deserves! Link in bio! What’s your favorite lyric drop them comments boiiiiii and stream awayyy!”
      Seeing Kehlani’s post, Justin decided to weigh in on it. He disputed her claim that “It Was Good Until It Wasn’t” could be the first R&B album to hit No. 1 in 2020, claiming that his album “Changes” is also of R&B genre and has placed first earlier this year. “Changes was rnb ;)” he wrote in the comment section.

      Many of Kehlani’s fans clearly disagreed with Justin, with one trying to correct him, “I like Justin but that album is not what R&B fans consider to be R&B. Sorry to this man.” A second person kindly tried to explain to him, “I wouldn’t call his album R&B, more like a pop album with some songs having a trap beat.”
      “It’s Justin Bieber, what else would it be besides Pop?” another person who doubted Justin’s claim chimed in. Reacting with a joke, someone suggested, “JB’s was rnb the way Post Malone’s was hip hop lol.”
      Another fan of Kehlani said he/she was angry because of Justin’s claim, admitting, “This pissed me off.” Clearly not a fan of the “Sorry” hitmaker, another added, “He acted like a Damn cry baby when ‘Yummy’ wasn’t charting …have several seats…gotta give up that child star mentality.” Someone else also slammed him as writing, “He is so tone deaf it’s sad.”
      Kehlani herself has not responded to Justin’s claim, while the husband of Hailey Baldwin has not attempted to clarify his remarks.
      Nevertheless, Kehlani’s “It Was Good Until It Wasn’t” is poised to become one of the most successful R&B albums in history, with a fan page pointing out that if she hit number one, she would be the first female r&b artist to do so since Beyonce Knowles’ “Lemonade”.

On Thursday, May 7, the “Yummy” singer and the “7 Rings” hitmaker debuted their COVID-19 charity song, and treated fans to a promo that saw how they spent their time during the lockdown.
      Over 4-minute long, the visual is kicked off with clips of fans and famous friends dancing with those they shared quarantine with. Grande then takes over singing before more clips of fans are shown including one that captures her collaborator Bieber being hugged by wife Hailey Baldwin as they lay around on bed.
      Sisters Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, married couple Ayesha and Stephen Curry as well as Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis make brief appearances in the video which also features the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, Chance the Rapper, Michael Buble and Jaden Smith. Its highlight, however, comes near the end when Grande’s new boyfriend Dalton Gomez makes a special cameo.

      Hours before the music video was released, Grande expressed her shock over Bieber’s teaser that featured “Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness” star Carole Baskin dancing with husband Howard. “i am very glad someone is laughing [loudly crying face emoji] the f**king heart attacks i had over this,” she tweeted at the time.
      “Stuck With U” is a single Bieber and Grande worked on in support of the First Responders Children’s Foundation and SB Projects, an organization founded by their manager Scooter Braun. All the proceeds made from the song will help fund grants and scholarships for children of the first responders who have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
      Upon its release, Bieber took to his Instagram account to announce, “#StuckwithU song and video out now with my amazing friend @arianagrande. proceeds to support @1strcf. Thank you to the @sb_projects fam for this one. Proud of this song and this cause. Hope you all like it.” He added a special note for his collaborator, “Ariana you are amazing. Happy this finally happened.”

      Grande herself has earlier shared her excitement over the charity duet. “i can’t fully articulate ……… howwwww happy i am that we waited this long to do this (the duet thing). this moment really means so much more than it ever could have if it had happened any other way or if it had been any other song,” she wrote in an Instagram post.

      “being able to lend our voices to this project and collaborating on this has been so fulfilling and i really just love this song so much,” she continued. “grateful to be doing this with my friend and also just wanted to express an enormous thank u to all of the brilliant creatives who worked on this song.” She added, “my heart is seriously so full. we’re so close and i cant wait for u all to hear #stuckwithu in a few hours !”
