Madonna Crying After Falling on Stage During Concert

    Instagram

The Material Girl reportedly breaks down in tears after she took a tumble in front of the concertgoers during one of her live performances in the capital city of France.
    Mar 2, 2020
AceShowbiz – Madonna reportedly fought back tears when she suffered an onstage fall during her Madame X show in Paris, France on Thursday, February 27, 2020 night.
The singer, 61, has been battling on through her 12-night residency despite her knee and hip injuries, and apparently was left requiring the support of a backing dancer after falling off her chair during the show.
According to Britain’s The Sun newspaper, the “Medellin” hitmaker, who has been walking with the help of a cane and knee supports in recent weeks, carried on the two and a half hour show after breaking down in tears onstage following the incident.
The Madame X Tour has proved problematic for the star, with Madonna cancelling shows in cities including New York, Los Angeles, and London earlier on in the tour, which kicked off in September 2019.
The final show takes place at Le Grand Rex in the French capital on March 11.

Madonna Angers Fans Over Three Hour Delay to 'Madame X Paris' Show

    Instagram

The ‘Medellin’ singer has reportedly completed her February 22 concert at 2:15 A.M. the next day after the production was hit with ‘unforeseen technical problems.’
    Feb 25, 2020
AceShowbiz – Madonna’s “Madame X” Show in Paris, France was delayed by three hours on Saturday, February 22, after the production was hit with “unforeseen technical problems.”
The “Vogue” hitmaker is currently in the midst of a 12-night residency at the city’s Le Grand Rex venue, but was three hours late when she took the stage this weekend due to production issues.
According to French site RTL, a technician claimed the performance was delayed due to certain decorations for the tour not being compatible with the concert’s venue.
The publication also reported the show eventually ended at 2:15 A.M. on Sunday morning, leaving many of the 2,800 fans in attendance struggling to travel home.
Disgruntled fans took to social media, insisting the “Medellin” star did not perform until midnight, when she was due to hit the stage more than three hours earlier.

“How could you be more disrespectful to your fans? Several shows cancelled without any reasons (we still had to pay for our plane tickets to go to Paris, thank you very much) and now you start your show 4 hours late… Your behaviour is a shame! You shouldn’t sing anymore…” wrote one user.

“Does @Madonna know that her fans have a life, are parents who have their children babysat to come and see her?” wrote another fan, while a third added, “Three hours late is unacceptable for a queen like you. We have schedules to respect in Paris.”

The “Madame X Tour” has proved problematic for the star, with Madonna cancelling shows in cities including New York, Los Angeles and London earlier on in the tour, which kicked off in September (2019).
The final show takes place on March 11.

Madonna Faces Class Action Lawsuit From Fans Over Late Start to Concerts

    Instagram

Andrew Panos and Antonio Velotta are suing the ‘Material Girl’ singer for breach of contract, loss of value, false advertisement and negligent misrepresentation.
    Feb 4, 2020
AceShowbiz – Madonna is at the centre of a new class action lawsuit over her tardy concerts.
Andrew Panos and Antonio Velotta claim the pop superstar kept them waiting up to three hours before taking the stage at Brooklyn Academy of Music shows in New York last year (2019), and the late concert left them stranded in the city.
Both men allege they missed their scheduled trains or other rides home because the pop star’s concerts didn’t end until 1am, and this messed up their work and school plans for the day after the gigs.
They are suing for breach of contract, loss of value, false advertisement and negligent misrepresentation, and asking for damages and legal fees, according to TMZ.
The new lawsuit comes two months after a similar one was filed in Florida by more angry Madonna fans.
The singer’s ongoing “Madame X” tour has been plagued by concert cancellations and unannounced late shows, all of which the “Material Girl” singer has apologised for.

Madonna Undergoes 6-Hour Rehab Every Day During Tour, Cancels More Shows

    WENN

The ‘Vogue’ hitmaker confirms cancellation of two more dates after one of her dancers, Marvin Gofin, hints at shortened Madame X Tour amid the singer’s health woes.
    Feb 1, 2020
AceShowbiz – Madonna has pulled two more concerts on her beleaguered Madame X Tour to allow the injured singer “time to recover” in between her live shows.
The 61 year old’s ongoing health woes have forced her to cancel gigs in cities including Miami, Florida, and Lisbon, Portugal in recent weeks, while she also axed the first night of her planned 15-date residency at the London Palladium in England on Monday, January 27, 2020.
The “Vogue” hitmaker returned to the stage in the British capital on Wednesday and Thursday, but fans were left wondering if Madonna was going to scrap more stops after one of her dancers, Marvin Gofin, hinted at a shortened tour on his Instagram Stories timeline, when he wrote, “Madame X 7 More.”
Gofin didn’t offer up any further details, but on Friday, Madonna revealed she was cancelling two upcoming concerts during her stay in London on doctors’ orders – in an effort to make it to the end of her trek, which wraps in March following a 14-night stint at Le Grand Rex in Paris, France.
Breaking the news to ticketholders on Instagram, she wrote, “As you all know i have multiple injuries and have had to cancel shows to give myself time to recover.”
“So as not to surprise you i want to let you know ahead of time that I will be cancelling 2 shows- on Feb 4 and Feb 11th at the Palladium in London. because doing 3 shows in a row is too much on my body and in fact my doctors insist i take a day off after every show but i believe can manage if i do 2 shows then I rest (sic)!”
“Its a miracle i have gotten this far but a-lot has to do with the fact that i do 6 hours of re-hab every day (sic). 3 hours before show and 3 after with multiple therapies,” she explained.

Madonna went on to share that she had “switched to flat shoes” and “modified” trickier aspects of the performance to make it easier on her body.
“This has helped enormously but i still need to be careful and of course rest is the best medicine,” she added.
“i never want to cancel any show and Im determined that i will make it to the end if i pace myself (sic). God Willing…”
Concluding her post, she wrote, “I appreciate your understanding and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you!! Madame X.”
The singer is due to continue her London run on Saturday, February 1, 2020.
She had also pulled out of shows in New York, Los Angeles, and Boston, Massachusetts earlier on in the tour, which kicked off in September 2019.
