    Sony Pictures

Tom Holland shares a serious, yet hilarious message with a picture of him wearing a face mask over his Spider-Man costume on the set of the ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ sequel.

    Nov 7, 2020
AceShowbiz – Tom Holland has taken to his Instagram page to offer fans a glimpse of the upcoming Spider-Man movie. And if his latest post is any indication, the yet-to-be-titled “Spider-Man 3” is going to reflect how the world has adjusted to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
On Friday, November 6, the Peter Parker depicter shared a picture of him on the set of the movie. He wore what appeared to be the web-crawler’s costume from “Spider-Man: Far From Home”, but with an added new item, a face mask.
It’s unclear if the face mask will still be featured in the final cut of the film, but Holland made use of the post to share an important message to his followers. “Wear a mask,” he reminded people, before adding in a less serious note, “I’m wearing two…”

Cast and crew of “Spider-Man 3” arrived in Atlanta in October to begin filming the movie. On Tuesday, November 3, Holland shared on his Instagram Stories a GIF of himself dancing in the Spider-Man suit from “Spider-Man: Homecoming” to celebrate the start of production.

Meanwhile, another behind-the-scenes photo has fueled rumor of Doctor Strange’s (Benedict Cumberbatch) appearance in the “Far From Home” sequel. Earlier this month, makeup artist Donald McInnes posted on his private Instagram account an image of a salon room in Atlanta, Georgia.
McInnes excitedly wrote over it, “Mine !!! All MIIINE!!!” It’s unclear why he’s in Atlanta, but McInnes is Cumberbatch’s personal hairstylist and makeup artist who also did his makeup when he portayed Doctor Strange in MCU movies.

Donald McInnes, Benedict Cumberbatch’s personal hairstylist and makeup artist, showed his salon room in Atlanta.
It was reported that Doctor Strange would fill in a mentor role that was previously occupied by Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark/Iron Man in “Homecoming” and Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury in “Far From Home”. With his own upcoming movie “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” being set to be released after “Spider-Man 3”, it is believed that he will make way for the multiverse storyline in “Spider-Man 3”.
The third Spider-Man movie starring Holland is slated for December 17, 2021 release. Sam Raimi, who directed the original “Spider-Man” trilogy starring Tobey Maguire, is serving as the helmer.

  • Tom Holland 'Breaks' His 'Spider-Man 3' Script iPad

    Sony Pictures

The Peter Parker depicter, who has arrived in Atlanta to film the ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ sequel, reveals the iPad he’s just received that contains the movie script, but promises that he won’t spoil it.

    Oct 27, 2020
AceShowbiz – Tom Holland in real life can be as destructive as the villains in his Spider-Man movies are. The actor, who will soon begin filming “Spider-Man 3” in Atlanta, revealed an iPad that he’s just received and contains the script of the film, but he almost had no chance to learn his lines.
On Monday, October 26, the 24-year-old actor took to Instagram Stories to share yet another update from the pre-production of the “Spider-Man: Far From Home” sequel. “So I just got home, I’m in Atlanta, and I’ve just been delivered a package,” he said in the video as he dressed casually in a plain white T-shirt and blue jeans.
After walking across the room, he sat on a couch and showed his iPad. “That package is an iPad, and on that iPad is a script, and that script is ‘Spider-Man 3’. So I’m about to find out what I’m going to be doing for the next five months,” he teased his fans.
While he in the past has had trouble keeping his mouth shut about his Marvel projects, he swore that he wouldn’t make the same mistake. “I’m not gonna tell you anything about it because I’ve learned my lesson,” so he claimed.
“But, uhm… I’m so…,” Holland said, before he surprised himself as he appeared to do some damage to his “Spider-Man 3” iPad. “Oh s**t. I just broke this iPad,” he cussed out as he showed the device’s broken case. “Umm, okay, I’m going to read this now and I can’t wait. I’ll speak to you all soon,” he signed off.

Holland landed in Atlanta on Sunday after completing the filming of Warner Bros. movie “Uncharted”. He shared on his Instagram Stories a video of himself arriving at the airport, saying, “We just landed in Atlanta. And uh…it’s time for ‘Spider-Man 3′. Let’s go!”

His co-stars Zendaya Coleman and Jacob Batalon have also been spotted in the city to begin filming the upcoming Spider-Man movie.
“Spider-Man 3” has Sam Raimi, who helmed the original “Spider-Man” trilogy starring Tobey Maguire, on board as director. Jamie Foxx let it slip that he will reprise his “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” role as Electro, while Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange is also reported to appear in the film.
Meanwhile, regarding reports that Maguire and Andrew Garfield will return as the web-crawler in the upcoming Marvel movie, a rep for the studio told ET Canada earlier this month, “Those rumored castings are not confirmed.”
The third installment of Marvel-Sony’s “Spider-Man” franchise is slated for December 17, 2021 release.

Tom Holland: Spider-Man's Future Still 'Bright' If It's Out of MCU

    Sony Pictures

Having been confirmed to return for another standalone movie and an appearance in a non-standalone movie, the ‘Far From Home’ actor says Sony had a ‘wonderful’ plan to take his character out of the MCU.
    Feb 26, 2020
AceShowbiz – Before Tom Holland managed to convince Sony to sign off on a deal with Disney to co-produce another standalone movie for Spider-Man, the web-crawler was on the brink of exiting the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Though the superhero’s future is pretty much sealed for the time being, Sony was apparently prepared should it have to take out Spider-Man out of the MCU.
In a new interview MTV News, Holland reveals that Sony had mapped out a plan to transition Spider-Man out of the MCU in case they weren’t able to reach an agreement with Disney and Marvel Studios. Gushing about the “wonderful” idea, the British actor says he was confident that the friendly neighborhood hero’s future was still “bright” even if he had to cut ties with other Marvel superheroes.
“[The] future for Spider-Man was still very bright with Sony and we had a really, really wonderful idea how we could sort of transition into a Spider-Man without the MCU,” he shares. The “Avengers: Endgame” star goes on claiming, “and Tom Rothman and Amy Pascal were really confidant that they were gonna do justice and make a film of the calibre that Spider-Man requires.”
Fortunately, Spider-Man isn’t leaving the MCU just yet. “But that said, I’m really glad to be back in the MCU and to have the team back together because I kind of feel like it’s where he belongs now,” Holland says.
Bragging about his role in keeping Spider-Man within the MCU, the 23-year-old adds, “I’m really grateful that Bob Iger and Tom Rothman allowed me to be a part of the process of bringing him home, it was a pretty cool experience and also the best bragging rights ever, I saved Spider-Man.”

Holland has been set to return for another standalone Spider-Man movie and make an appearance in a non-standalone Marvel film. The third Spider-Man movie is scheduled to start production in July.

Tom Holland Rules Out Doing 'Back to the Future' Remake

    YouTube/EZRyderX47

The ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ actor has no plan to appear in a remake of the classic movie after his face was digitally used to replace the original actor Michael J. Fox in a viral video.
    Feb 20, 2020
AceShowbiz – Tom Holland has ruled out appearing in a remake of “Back to the Future” as it’s already a “perfect movie.”
The 23-year-old star was the centre of a viral “deepfake” video reimagining the 1985 time-travel comedy, which used digital technology to map Holland’s face onto Michael J. Fox’s Marty McFly, and Robert Downey Jr.’s face onto Christopher Lloyd’s Doc Brown.
While the clip sparked a resurged interest in a revival, the “Spider-Man: Homecoming” actor insisted he’s not on board with the idea.

“I would not be interested because that is a perfect movie,” he told Entertainment Tonight.
He went on to explain that playing the character would also be redundant when it came to his own body of work.
“When I first got Spider-Man, my goal was to be my generation’s Marty McFly,” Holland explained. “When I was on the press tour, a journalist said to me, ‘You realise you’re like Marty McFly in this movie?’ And I was like, ‘(OK!) Done.’ ”

Director Robert Zemeckis has previously branded talk of a remake “outrageous,” telling Britain’s The Daily Telegraph newspaper, “Oh, God no… That can’t happen until both Bob (Gale, screenwriter) and I are dead. And then I’m sure they’ll do it, unless there’s a way our estates can stop it.”
In accordance with the contracts the pair signed, the two men have the final say on the production of any “Back to the Future”-related films for as long as they live.
The increased interest in the franchise comes ahead of the launch of “Back to the Future: The Musical” at Manchester Opera House in the U.K. on Thursday.
