Wendy Williams Shades Lamar Odom and Fiancee's New Show

    Instagram

Lamar announced his new show in a video which he posted on his Instagram account over the weekend with Sabrina Parr sharing in the clip that the new show would reveal their ‘true love.’
    Mar 25, 2020
AceShowbiz – Wendy Williams returned with a new YouTube video for her online talk show “Wendy @ Home”. On Tuesday, March 24, the 55-year-old TV personality discussed many things including Lamar Odom and his fiancee Sabrina Parr’s newly-announced digital series.
“Lamar and Sabrina, nobody care’s about y’all’s relationship,” Wendy said of the couple’s upcoming show in parnertship with For Us By Us Network that is scheduled to air on Hot New Hip Hop in spring. “Sabrina is a life coach but she’s got a whole bunch of arrest pictures at the police precinct.”
“And Lamar says he’s a sex addict and they say they don’t want to have sex until they get married. You know what, I feel dirty doing the story,” she continued putting the couple on a blast.

Lamar announced his new show in a video which he posted on his Instagram account over the weekend. Sabrina shared in the clip that the new show would reveal their “true love,” before adding, “[It’s] about imperfect people but the point is we love each other and we fought really hard for this relationship and we’re still here.”
“Come rock with us and watch us put all the speculations to rest. New Series coming Spring 2020 exclusively on @forusbyusnetwork @hotnewhiphop Executive Producers @lamarOdom @Getuptoparr @RobertoRushEvans @sashadelvalle,” Lamar captioned it.

This is not the first time for Wendy to diss Lamar and Sabrina, who announced their surprise engagement in November 2019, much to Lamar’s 17-year-old son’s surprise. “By yesterday morning, Lamar Jr. went on the gram and apologized, saying that he was emotional and caught off guard also that he has nothing but love for his dad,” she said. “But here’s the thing, at the very least you’re supposed to make big announcements about your life to your family, behind the scenes. And then you go in front of the scenes and you talk about stuff. But, these are his two kids.”
Since it appeared that Lamar didn’t tell any of his family members before making the announcement, Wendy felt that Lamar Jr. had all the right to feel upset. “I agree with Lamar Jr., and good for you young man to take it down, but you don’t have to. I understand what you’re saying,” she said. Later on, Wendy gushed over the “beautiful” ring that Lamar got for her now-fiancee Sabrina.

During her appearance on “The Dr. Oz Show” on March 20, Wendy revealed that her popular talk show would be going on hiatus though she shared that she was willing to “risk it” all for her TV return. “I said, ‘But I can do it even with no audience. I don’t even have to have the staffers there because I did that for two days.’ But they said, ‘No. We need to have you home, indefinitely,’ ” she explained.

'The Wendy Williams Show' to Eliminate Audience During Live Taping in Light of Coronavirus

    Instagram

The TV personality announces on Instagram that while she ‘values her co-hosts and their daily participation,’ her talk show will not have studio audience until ‘the time is right.’
    Mar 11, 2020
AceShowbiz – Wendy Williams is not taking any risk amid the growing spread of coronavirus. On Tuesday, March 10, the TV host/personality came out with an announcement that her syndicated talk show, “The Wendy Williams Show”, will be filmed without live studio audience for an undetermined period of time.
A released statement from the 55-year-old’s show read, “Wendy values her co-hosts and their daily participation but in light of the current health climate, ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ will not have a live studio audience until further notice.” It further noted, “We will continue to produce a daily live talk show and look forward to welcoming the studio audience back when the time is right.”
Williams’ show was not the only one taking precaution by banning audience from the live taping. A number of ABC’s shows, such as “Live With Kelly and Ryan”, “The View” and “Good Morning America”, have reportedly made similar decision to film episodes in an empty studio.
On Tuesday night, March 10, ABC issued a statement to Page Six regarding the matter. “Given the current developing situation in New York City, we have made the decision to suspend live audiences from attending our news broadcasts and talk shows,” the statement read.
In addition, the network was reported to forbid its star hosts, including Robin Roberts and Michael Strahan, from getting physical contact with the public. Page Six claimed that they were told not to take selfies with the crowd.
The drastic measure taken by Williams and ABC came after “Dr. Phil”, which is hosted by Dr. Phillip C. McGraw, announced it would be filmed without audiences. “The health of our audience members, staff and crew are the priority,” explained executive producer Carla Pennington as quoted by Deadline.
The publication further noted that “Jeopardy!” and “Wheel of Fortune” have also suspended audiences from their episodes taping.

Wendy Williams Apologizes for Telling Gay Men to Stop Wearing Skirts and Heels

    Instagram

The ‘Wendy Williams Show’ host says in a new video that she didn’t mean to offend the LGBTQ+ community after her insensitive comments sparked backlash on the internet.
    Feb 15, 2020
AceShowbiz – Wendy Williams regretted her insensitive remarks about gay men in the February 13 episode of her show. She told gay men to stop dressing up as women and, soon after it sparked outrage online, she apologized in a video message.
“I’ll start by saying, I apologize,” she opened her video. “I did not mean to offend my LGBTQ+ community on yesterday’s show. I did not realize until I got home and I watched the second running of our show here in New York. And I always watch when I can to critique my delivery or, you know, the cameras, the lights, the audience.”
“I’m very persnickety about how I do my show and one thing I can tell you right now is I never do the show in a place of malice,” she added. “I understand my platform with the community from first grade, to intermediate school, to high school, to college, to radio and now to TV. And I didn’t mean to hurt anybody’s feelings. I’m just having a conversation.”
“I’m 55 years old, and maybe I sounded like your auntie, your mother, your big sister, or somebody out of touch. I’m not out of touch, except for perhaps yesterday by saying what I said,” she went on. “So I deeply apologize and I deeply appreciate the support that I get from the community. I will do better. I appreciate you supporting me. Thank you.”

While talking about Valentine’s Day, Wendy previously said, “I don’t care if you’re gay. You don’t get a menses every 28 days. You can do a lot that we do, but I get offended by the idea that we go through something you will never go through.”
“And stop wearing our skirts and our heels,” she added. “Looky here now, gay men, you’ll never be the women that we are. No matter how gay.”

Wendy Williams Slams Gay Men for Wearing Skirts and Heels but Supports Dwyane Wade's Transgender Kid

    FOX

The television host criticizes gay men for dressing up like women after she previously cried while offering her support for Dwyane Wade’s young transgender daughter Zaya.
    Feb 14, 2020
AceShowbiz – Wendy Williams came under fire over her comments about gay men in the latest episode of her show. The television host was dragged on the internet after she told men to “stop wearing our skirts and our heels” while talking about Valentine’s Day.
“You don’t get a [menstruation] every 28 days,” she said on “The Wendy Williams Show”. “You can do a lot that we do, but I get offended by the idea that we go through something you will never go through.” She added, “Gay men, you’ll never be the women that we are. No matter how gay.”
She was soon flooded with criticisms online. “Really? What sort of ignorance is coming out of your mouth regarding gay men wanting to be women!! Really Wendy?” one commented. Another wrote, “If you dont like seeing men dressing up like women then i dont like women trying to be like us stop playing sports stop drinking beer stop wearing sweat pants stop using deep voices.”
While she criticized gay men, Wendy offered support for Dwyane Wade’s transgender daughter Zaya. “The quicker you figure out who you are or who you wanna be in life, the easier life gets when you get older,” she said. “That’s what I’ve discovered.”
She was overwhelmed with emotion as she added, “At 12 years old, a lot of us didn’t know who we were and we don’t figure it out until we get to high school or college or into our 30s.”
“I feel like, with all the bullying with kids … good for her for figuring out that lane of who she wants to be,” she continued. “At least she’s got that and a supportive mother and father. For those of you who don’t understand it or don’t like it, don’t say anything. This is a child who’s figured out more about her life than we have when we were 12, alright?”

Wendy Williams Denies Farting on Her Live Show

    CBS

The ‘Wendy Williams Show’ host insists she didn’t fart and her stagehand backs up her claim by saying the sound happened when they filled a fish tank for guest Dr. Kate Biberdorf.
    Jan 25, 2020
AceShowbiz – Wendy Williams has hit back at claims she farted on live television, insisting she “would have been laughing” if she had.
“The Wendy Williams Show” host went viral after fans became convinced they spotted the star passing gas while presenting her Hot Topics segment on January 17, 2020.
However, on Thursday’s January 23 episode, Wendy addressed the speculation, playing the footage and telling the audience, “I have never farted once on this show. As a matter of fact, I barely fart, you know why? Because gas gets released several different ways and mine is belching, because all I do is talk.”
“Let me tell you something right now, okay? I don’t lean over like this to release a fart, I lean over like this because it’s comfortable. If I sit (straight up) all the time, it’s heavy on my spine. I don’t have the back. I’m not trying to get the back. I like to release my hips and lean, you know what I’m saying?… I’ve been doing this for 11 years on this show!”
She also told the crowd that had she let one rip, she wouldn’t have been able to conceal her amusement.
“I would have definitely been laughing because farts are always funny. You know a girl like me would have been laughing at that!” she giggled.
The star also made reference to the noise fans heard in the clip, adding, “By the sound of that fart, I would have had to go change my costume! I would have left a mark in the seat. I wouldn’t even save the costume, I would have thrown it away. It’d probably be soiled beyond soiled-tivity.”
Stagehand John Anderson also weighed in on the controversy, explaining that the sound had happened while he and his team were setting up for a segment with scientific author Dr. Kate Biberdorf.

“We were filling up a fish tank backstage and we didn’t have the proper hose. The air was just coming out and it was sputtering like someone was farting. Okay? So that’s what it was. It wasn’t Wendy!” he said.
