    BET

This is not the first time for Wendy to fart on live TV as in a January 22, 2020 episode of her daytime talk show, the 56-year-old allegedly passed gas loudly though she denied the speculations the next day.

    Mar 17, 2021

    AceShowbiz –
Wendy Williams has had an embarrassing moment in one episode of her talk show. The 56-year-old host was heard having a double release in the form of a burp and a fart while talking about Kim Kardashian and her estranged husband Kanye West’s relationship amid their divorce.

“And she’s probably got five new boyfriends. We haven’t caught anybody coming out of the house yet,” Wendy said about the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star. “It’s just a matter of time. She ain’t lon…,” the TV personality trailed off as she burped and farted loud enough to be heard by the audience.

After regaining composure over the embarrassing moment, Wendy quickly apologized. “I apologize, I apologize,” she said, before going on with the segment.

This is not the first time for Wendy to fart on live TV. In a January 22, 2020 episode of her daytime talk show, she allegedly passed gas loudly as she was seen leaning to one side while sitting in her iconic purple chair.

However, in an episode on the next day, Wendy denied that she farted. “I have never farted once on this show. I barely fart. You know why? Because gas gets released several different ways and mine is belching cause all I do is talk. If I farted, I’d have laughed, cause farts are always funny,” so the talk show host explained to her viewers.

Of the noise that some people speculated was the sound of the fart, Wendy said, “By the sound of that fart, I’d have to go change my costume. I would have left a mark in the seat. I wouldn’t even have saved the costume, I would have thrown it away. It probably would have been soiled beyond soiltivity. ”

An employee named John also backed Wendy’s claims, saying that it was from a chemist, who was a guest on the show, setting up her experiments backstage. “So that’s what it was, it wasn’t Wendy,” John said.

Wendy Williams Takes Hiatus from Show in the Wake of Her Mom's Death

    WENN

The TV host confirmed the heartbreaking news of her mom Shirley Skinner Williams’ death in the Monday, December 7 episode of her talk show, revealing that her ‘mom passed away many, many, many, many weeks ago.’

    Dec 12, 2020
AceShowbiz – Wendy Williams is pausing production on “The Wendy Williams Show” following the death of her mom, Shirley Skinner Williams. The hiatus was announced by Debmar-Mercury, the production company behind her talk show, on Friday, December 11.
“Next week, ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ will air repeats to allow Wendy to travel and be with her family at this time,” a spokesperson for the company announced in a statement. “The show will return with original episodes on Monday, January 4th. Debmar-Mercury extends its deepest condolences to Wendy and her family.”

Reports about the death of her mother started emerged online earlier this month as family friend Courtney Brown wrote in a now-deleted post, “One of my granny’s best friends for 83 years passed away…Mrs. Shirley Williams. Always available for my granny and our family, she flew in to share this beautiful speech at granny’s 100th birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Williams is truly what the kids now call #CoupleGoals.”
Wendy only confirmed the heartbreaking news in the Monday, December 7 episode of her talk show. “My mom passed away many, many, many, many weeks ago,” the 56-year-old TV host shared while trying to hold back tears, “She passed away beautifully and peacefully and surrounded by love. She didn’t suffer, not one bit, thank goodness.”
“Our relationship was like that of two teenage girls. If I could pick an age, 17… My relationship with my mother, right up until the end, was so girly and so ridiculously giggly,” she went on reminiscing her memory with her late mom.
However, Wendy’s brother appeared to dispute her claim about their mother’s death. Instead of “many, many, many, many weeks ago,” Thomas Williams said that his “mom passed away last Sunday (December 6).” He said on Instagram Live, “It’s a family thing. We’ve been moving through. Now you can see what Wendy has been going through. It’s life. She may be a celebrity. She may be on stage. She’s a child of somebody’s as well. She’s a sister. She’s an aunt. She’s a mother. And it’s all laid out on stage.”

“You know I come here every day and I try to do the best that I can for you. I appreciate you watching, but even after all of these years, it’s still work and effort put in for the hour that I am out here with you,” she shared in the Monday episode of her daytime talk show. “I guess every day is not perfect, but I am not a perfectionist. Wendy continued, “I love entertaining you and it’s not easy. It is not easy. You’re a tough crowd.”

The TV personality previously raised people’s eyebrows after she looked distraught last week. The host was seen losing focus mid-conversation in addition to pausing awkwardly several times which prompted her producer, Norman Baker, to try to keep the conversation on track. The episode also saw Wendy calling Adele “Ho-dele” before doing some random stuff such as unwrapping a hard candy only to put it back down and cutting off her own sentence to stand up and show off her outfit.
DJ Boof, who used to work with Wendy on the show, also shared his thoughts on her behavior, alluding that many of her staff members had tried to get her some help but she wouldn’t listen to them. “Y’all have no idea what’s really going on and everyone there is afraid to speak up because they don’t wanna lose their jobs.. this is going to play out bad.. I feel sorry for the workers and victims. Have a blessed day,” DJ Boof told a fan on Instagram on Sunday.
Back in March 2019, Wendy opened up about her struggle with drugs that made her decide to live in a sober house with a 24-hour coach. “You know I’ve had a struggle with cocaine in my past. I never went to a place to get the treatment. I don’t know how, except God was sitting on my shoulder and I just stopped,” she said at the time.
She also took some moments off of the show due to Graves’ disease earlier this year. “Recently, Wendy has been dealing with symptoms from her Graves’ disease which is causing fatigue,” read the statement released on Monday, May 18. “In consultation with her doctor and as a precautionary measure, she will be taking some time off as she continues to receive treatment. We look forward to welcoming Wendy back soon and continuing the ‘[email protected]’ shows. More updates on a return date will follow.”
That marked the second time for Wendy to take a hiatus from the show due to Graves’ disease. Back in 2018, she told her audience that she would be taking a 3-week hiatus to focus on her health after being diagnosed with Graves’ disease in addition to her hyperthyroidism.

Now, DJ Boof, the former DJ of the show, has spoken out what has been happening behind-the-scenes when it comes to the host’s concerning behavior.
This started after a fan wrote on Instagram that Wendy might need to stop her show and “seriously get help.” The fan went on to say, “Your camp is just watching you spiral instead of sending help shame on them. Ill be boycotting the show until you get checked in to REHAB. Drugs will kill you please get help.”

She can barely focus,” a fan pointed out on “The Wendy Williams Show” YouTube account. “I’m in shock that they would allow this to air,” someone added, while another person urged Wendy to “please rest and recover take a hiatus, it’s okay. I just want you to be fine.”

  • Wendy Williams Trolled for Her Wrong Pronunciation of Coronavirus

    BET

The 56-year-old TV talk show host gets people’s attention with her confusing way of pronuncing the novel virus while criticizing President Donald Trump’s tweet.
    Oct 7, 2020
AceShowbiz – Wendy Williams tackled President Donald Trump’s COVID-19 diagnosis in the Tuesday, October 6 episode of her talk show. She could be seen criticizing POTUS for urging people not to be afraid of the disease. However, it was her way of pronouncing the word coronavirus that got people’s attention.
In his recent tweet when he announced that he and First Lady Melania Trump tested positive for COVID-19, Trump wrote, “Don’t be afraid of Covid.” However, instead of saying “COVID,” Wendy said, “Cronova,” when she read the tweet aloud in the episode.
Some people might initially think that it could have been a slip of the tongue until she said the same word for the second time. “We are here, out in the field. We are frightened of cronova,” so the 56-year-old mispronounced the term again.

Unsurprisingly, it didn’t take long before Internet users made fun of her pronunciation of the novel virus. “Is Wendy Williams okay? What is CRONOVA?!” one confused fan wrote on Twitter. “no one: literally no one: wendy williams: don’t be afraid of cRoNoVa,” someone else trolled Wendy.
“We’ve been dealing with COVID for months. You don’t know how to pronounce Corona? Smh,” another user criticized the talk show host. “wendy williams calling covid cornova is the cultural moment that will heal us all,” one other opined.
“LRT: Wendy Williams twice pronouncing COVID as ‘CORNOVA’ has tears falling down my face laughing,” wrote one fan. Another person accused Wendy of being “high” during the filming, while someone else appeared to defend Wendy, writing, “WENDY does that to words she doesn’t like. If you know her radio years then you know she likes to revamp words.”
This is not the first time for Wendy to mispronounce things. She once referred to singer Dua Lipa as “Dula Peep.” The “New Rules” hitmaker, however, was all cool with the nickname. “It’s a full thing, it’s a thing now,” she said during her appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” back in December 2019.

    Jun 11, 2020
AceShowbiz – Wendy Williams hinted that she’s doing good after sparking concerns amid suicidal rumors. On Wednesday, June 10, the talk show host took to her Instagram account to share a video of her looking gorgeous while flaunting a new hair makeover.
In the clip, Wendy greeted her fans from home in addition to giving them update on her show “The Wendy Williams Show” in the midst of coronavirus pandemic. “Hello! Hi, it’s me from home and hopefully for not too long,” she said to the camera.
“You know what I’m waiting for? I’m waiting for the state of New York to say that we as a show can go back,” Wendy, who looked stunning in a pink and green dress, went on to say. “Now we got 200 people in our audience, we will never have that again but I want to go back to do our show, nothing makes me happier than being Wendy on the ‘Wendy show’! She also admitted that she felt confident about her appearance on that day. “I couldn’t wait to wear this dress, I’m going to wear it again on the show so don’t act like you never saw it,” she joked. “It’s pink and it’s green and it’s beautiful and I love it but I love you more.”

The post arrives after it was rumored that Wendy was treated on the neurology floor at New York Presbyterian hospital for trying to kill herself. She allegedly refused to eat and drink.
Rumor has it, her husband’s infidelities and their subsequent divorce coupled with her alleged row with her only son took a toll on her mental health. She reportedly broke down during the quarantine after her son was turned against her by her ex-husband.
She hasn’t responded to the suicide rumors, but she has been taking a break since May 18. She cited her struggle with Graves’ disease as the reason behind her hiatus from her TV show. Besides having Graves’ disease, Wendy has been struggling with cocaine addiction. She described herself as “a functioning addict” and stayed at a sober living house with a 24-hour coach in 2019 amid her marital woes.

Wendy Williams Announces Show Hiatus After Looking Concerning

    WENN

This marks the second time for Wendy to have a hiatus from the show due to Graves’ disease as back in 2018, she stepped back from the show to focus on her health.
    May 19, 2020
AceShowbiz – Wendy Williams is putting her health above everything. The TV personality recently took to her Instagram account to announce to her followers that she would be taking time off “[email protected]” show as she’s been struggling from Graves’ disease.
“Recently, Wendy has been dealing with symptoms from her Graves’ disease which is causing fatigue,” read the statement on Monday, May 18. “In consultation with her doctor and as a precautionary measure, she will be taking some time off as she continues to receive treatment.”
The statement continued, “We look forward to welcoming Wendy back soon and continuing the [email protected] shows. More updates on a return date will follow.”

Prior to this, the daytime TV host sparked concern for her health as she looked exhausted in a recent episode. The fact that Wendy’s battling cocaine addiction didn’t help either as it only further put fans on high alert.
“Are you good? I’m worried about you. Are you spiraling? Please get some help now,” a worried fan said. “The energy is LOW today,” another fan noted.
This marks the second time for Wendy to have a hiatus from the show due to Graves’ disease. Back in 2018, she told her audience that she would be taking a 3-week hiatus to focus on her health after being diagnosed with Graves’ disease in addition to her hyperthyroidism.
“My doctor has prescribed are you ready? As of today, three weeks of vacation,” Wendy announced at the time. “What? Who are you? I was pissed.” She later explained the disease was described as an autoimmune disease that affects the thyroid. “Graves’ disease squeezes behind the eyeballs,” she said, adding that it made her eyeballs twitch.
