Noel Gallagher has vowed to go sober until Christmas after drinking heavily on his latest Ibiza holiday.
The former Oasis front man, 54, has been living it up on the party island over the summer but earlier this week, announced his intention to “go on the wagon for 12 weeks” starting from September 12 after one final boozy blow out next month.
Noel told The Sun: “I’m going on the wagon and I’ve fixed a date.
“I think it’s going to be like the 12th of September, because I’ve got parties to attend to and the last one is on the 11th.
“And then I’m going to go on the wagon for 12 weeks I think.”
He added: “I’ve been f***ing smashing the arse out of it in Ibiza.”
“I’m going to do three months which takes me up to the middle of December and then I can get in training for Christmas.”
Noel’s pledge comes after the Cigarettes & Alcohol singer previously admitted to growing a “little beer belly” after consuming more alcohol during the coronavirus pandemic lockdowns.

In March, he told Matt Morgan’s Funny How? podcast: “I’m getting a bit fat, actually. It’s all the boozing. I’m getting a little beer belly.
“Like everyone, I’ve been drinking every night at home for a year, which is something I never usually do.”
He added: “I’m drinking every f***ing week.
“I’m f***ing loving it but I’ve started to wear baggy clothes, let’s put it that way. I looked at it and thought, ‘That’s a disgrace’.
Noel’s sober pledge also follows the rocker detailing his three-month drinking abstinence in LA back in 2011.
