Helen Skelton ‘s rugby playing ex Richie Myler has tackled her with a subtle dig as she appeared in the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Countryfile presenter Helen, 39, was left shattered when Richie Myler, 32, kicked their eight-year marriage into touch in April, four months after their third child was born.
The 32-year-old shifted his attentions to new girlfriend Stephanie Thirkill, 32, the daughter of multi-millionaire Andrew Thirkill.

As Helen danced to sixth place on the leaderboard in the popular show with pro partner Gorka Marquez with a spectacular performance, Richie took to Instagram.
Sharing a picture of him and Stephanie with her family, he said: “Finished this season as a family.”

Helen had previously revealed that she signed up to Strictly so her family could see her smiling again after the trauma of the separation.
She reportedly said ahead of the launch show: “I just wanted to do something fun,” adding: “It was a good chance for my family to see me smiling and it’s a fun adventure.

“Anybody who’s had anything to do with Strictly will say, the make-up people are the best, the costume people are the best, the set designers are the best, the dancers are the best.

Helen is now juggling training with caring for her three children Ernie, seven, Louis, five and baby Elsie.
